Kamala Harris is beginning to offer the first definitive clues of a new economic vision — one with the potential not only to offer a unifying vision for the Democratic Party but also to serve as the foundation for a governing philosophy that crosses party lines. In recent years, both parties have broken with a markets-know-best default setting. The question is, what comes next? One influential school of thought, advanced by Ezra Klein and Derek Thompson, argues for increasing the supply of essentials such as housing, health care and clean energy, in part by using government to break the choke...

Ukraine on Sunday called on Belarus to pull back what it described as significant levels of Belarusian forces and equipment deployed at their common border. The Ukrainian foreign ministry warned Belarus against making "tragic mistakes" while under pressure from Moscow. A ministry statement urged the Belarus armed forces "to stop unfriendly actions" and withdraw their troops out of range of the border. The ministry said Belarus special forces and former Wagner mercenary fighters were among the troops at the border. Their equipment included tanks, artillery, air defence systems and engineering equipment, located in the Gomel region near Ukraine's northern border.

The watchdog group Judicial Watch has obtained 311 pages of US Secret Service (USSS) records revealing the agency’s heavy focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Sen. Lindsey Graham on Sunday pitched a fiery strategy for securing the release of Israeli hostages: threaten to bomb Iran. Well known for his hawkish foreign policy, Graham (R-SC) implied during an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” that Tehran has the influence needed to entice Hamas into releasing the hostages. “If I were the state of Israel, I would tell the ayatollah if these people do not come home alive — the ones that are left alive — and if we don’t get the bodies of the fallen, we’re going to blow up your oil refineries,” he said....

Actress Rachel Zegler will not keep her opinions to herself, no matter how unpopular. Yesterday, Zegler — who became better known thanks to Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story — Tweeted out one unpopular opinion: “Free Palestine.” Zegler never says a word about the Israeli hostages taken by Hamas, or the innocent victims of the October 7th attack against Jews at an Israeli music festival. This must have caused some friction on the set of Disney’s live action “Snow White” set for release in 2025. Zegler’s co-star is Gal Gadot, who is Jewish and from Israel. I can’t imagine the pair...

I had two appearances in months.I was blocked out the networks. I was blocked out from the debate. I had no path to victory.President Trump had been reaching out to me and I talked...

Legendary Democratic strategist James Carville cautioned Democrats against falling into a false sense of security as polls show Vice President Kamala Harris leading the race against former President Donald Trump.Echoing many of the private concerns of Harris’ allies who feel the polls are a bit more “rosy” than the reality, Carville stressed on “Real Time With Bill Maher” that she will have to work harder to win the Electoral College.“I challenge Democrats with some caution here. First of all, most want to say we have to win by three in the popular vote to win the Electoral College. So when...

Race considerations crater Trump support among non-white voters Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ, August 23, 2024 – Voters nationally give Vice President and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris an edge over former President Donald Trump in November’s election by a seven-point margin (50 to 43), but race and gender remains central to the vote. When voters are made to think about the race or gender of the candidates, Harris’ lead grows substantially; when they’re not, support is essentially tied. Harris is also helped by strong support among the slightly less than half of men who reject traditionally masculine identities. Trump’s strongest...

VIDEOHere are a very highly entertaining outtakes of the sheer RAGE expressed by a Kamala Harris supporter at Jill Stein for appealing to the Abandon Harris '24 movement. The nightmare of this Kamunist is that Stein will draw enough votes away from his beloved Kamala in the Battleground States (especially Michigan) as to throw the election to Donald Trump. His high level of IRK over Jill Stein is FUN to watch.

Hannah Muldavin, a senior spokesperson for the Democratic National Committee (DNC), said on Sunday that Robert F. Kennedy’s endorsement of former President Trump’s White House bid “changes nothing” about the 2024 race. Muldavin said Kennedy’s announcement on Friday was “not surprising for a second,” pointing to the Trump allies and conservatives who supported Kennedy and their similar messaging against President Biden and Vice President Harris.

An 'inhuman' pedophile who was sentenced to 350 years in jail for abducting and molesting a five-year-old girl in 2003 could now be freed under a controversial California law. Charles William Mix was 47 when he kidnapped his friend's daughter and smuggled her over state lines to Utah before subjecting her to his sordid fantasies in June of that year. Her family believed he would spend the rest of his life behind bars, but 20 years later, Mix, 69, could be freed under California's relatively new Elderly Parole Program due to his age after serving just six percent of his...

Joe Biden is “the best candidate Democrats have” and would win reelection, despite a “crazy Congress” and an opponent “crazier than Dewey.” That was former San Francisco mayor and California Assembly speaker Willie Brown back in March, before the Democrats dumped Joe “sharp as a tack” Biden for coup clucker Kamala Harris. She owes her start in politics to poontronage from Brown, who had other ladies on the line. In 1995, Brown met Carolyn Carpeneti, a woman of no color who became his political fundraiser. Over a five-year period, non-profits and committees controlled by Brown paid Carpeneti $2.3 million, but...
