A state of emergency was declared in the Voronezh region of Russia after akamikaze drone strike caused a major blaze at an ammunitions warehouse. There were several explosions and huge flames for hours after the Ukraine hit in Ostrogozhsk overnight. At least 200 people were evacuated and two people were injured, one seriously, in the district. Regional governor Aleksandr Gusev acknowledged there was a ‘detonation of explosive objects’ and claimed the ignition came from the falling debris from a drone. Russian channels, meanwhile, confirmed that an ammunition warehouse had been struck. Ukrainian forces are engaged in a long-term campaign of...

As Minnesota Governor Tim Walz vies for the U.S. vice presidency, new details are surfacing about his teaching career, including the impact he made as faculty advisor for a high school Gay-Straight Alliance club. However, sources say the Walz family were LGBTQ+ community boosters even before then, as especially evidenced by one extracurricular Indigo Girls concert where the Walzes taught in Nebraska. ,,, Jacob Reitan — a former student of both Walz and his wife Gwen Walz (nee Whipple), both teachers at Mankato West High School in the 1990s — described feeling stunned when Ms. Walz announced her husband would...

Frustrated by what he termed "the Democratic Party's efforts to dismantle democracy," Robert f. Kennedy Jr. announced that he is "urging voters in the battle ground states to vote for former President Trump. The election of Vice-President Kamala Harris would be a calamity for real democracy and our country." "In the effort to ensure a second term for Biden the Democratic Party blocked my efforts to enter the primaries and make my case for needed change," RFK pointed out. "Once Biden secured enough delegates to win the nomination he challenged the likely Republican nominee Donald Trump to a debate. Biden's...

Comedian Jon Stewart this week slammed Sen. Bernie Sanders, Bill Clinton and other major Democratic figures for hypocrisy at the Democratic National Convention (DNC). "At their convention, they had union leaders and C.E.O.s. They had Democratic Party icons and lifelong Republicans. They had a guy yelling, ‘Screw the billionaires!’ followed immediately by a very happy billionaire," Stewart said, showing a picture of Sen. Sanders followed shortly by a picture of Illinois Governor and billionaire J.B. Pritzker. Sanders and former President Bill Clinton both spoke at the DNC this week to support Vice President Harris' ascendancy to the nominee and leader...

VIDEOIt's going to be interesting to see if Krystal Ball ultimately supports Kamala Harris over Orange Man Bad. In fact after watching what Krystal said about Kamala being utterly corrupt and lacking principles, she will have to convince us that the Orange Man is really really Bad to overcome what Krystal herself already stated about CORRUPT and UNPRINCIPLED Kamala.

While speaking with CNN host Kaitlan Collins on Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher said that he doesn’t blame people on the right for thinking CNN is biased against Republicans and stated that their coverage of 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris’ DNC speech was almost all “just gushing about how great a speech it was, and I think she did fine. I didn’t think it was as good as they were making it out to be.”

WASHINTON, DC — Kamala Harris explained this week that the extraordinarily high turnover in her staff is due to people just not being able to handle the sheer amounts of joy she exudes in her office. "They quit because they are literally overdosing on joy," Harris explained. "Almost no one on earth can stand being around this much joy for more than a few weeks. It's my cross to bear." Despite her proclamations, anonymous reports have surfaced that Harris actually has a tendency to be viciously hostile and impossible to work with. "That's just how some people describe joy," explained...

The left-wing New York Times is warning Democrats that “joy” is not a political strategy that will put Vice President Kamala Harris (D) in the White House. Following the Democratic National Convention (DNC), Patrick Healy wrote in his opinion piece that the convention’s message for the nation, if it were to be placed on a bumper sticker, would say “HARRIS IS JOY.” Healy continued: Don’t get me wrong — there are many worse things than joy — but I cringed a little in the convention hall Tuesday night when Bill Clinton said Harris would be “the president of joy.” Joy...

The readings for this upcoming Sunday are some of the most difficult and challenging in the Lectionary. The Church is calling us to make a decision. There can be no more sitting on the fence. Are we going to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Son of God, and therefore submit to his Word—even if it seems difficult to understand or accept? Or are we going to move on and seek some other guru in life, some other bodhisattva, novelist, psychologist, sociologist, theologian, philosopher, talk show host, or politician who will tell us right from wrong and show us the...

The two Boeing Starliner astronauts who have been stranded in space for 80 days will stay in space for another six months, NASA officials announced Saturday. Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are now expected to return to Earth in February, while the Starliner will be brought back unmanned. Veteran astronauts Wilmore and Williams launched aboard Boeing’s Starliner back on June 5 — the maiden crewed voyage for the spacecraft — for what was supposed to be an eight-day mission docked to the International Space Station. The test flight, however, encountered thruster failures and helium leaks so serious that NASA...

In the good old days of American education, professors could speak their minds freely. Disagreements would often result, with others disputing the case that the speaker had made. The solid consensus, however, was that academic freedom must never be curtailed, since intellectual progress depends on the exchange of ideas, just as John Stuart Mill had argued in On Liberty. Perhaps the most disturbing trend in our colleges and universities today is the erosion of support for free speech. Professors who now take controversial positions have to worry about more than mere disagreement; they have to worry about punishment for having...

Last week at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Vice President Kamala Harris officially became the Democratic nominee for US president. The symbolic and celebratory event — which included a live concert and dance party with rapper Lil Jon — was the culmination of a carefully choreographed, by-the-powers-that-be process unprecedented in American politics. President Joe Biden was removed from the race, dubiously replaced by Harris to run against GOP nominee Donald Trump. In an unusual virtual roll call, Harris secured 99% of the participating delegates’ votes — along with hundreds of millions of dollars in campaign funding that donors had...

Investigators in Philadelphia are searching for three shooters accused of ambushing a bike rider with a barrage of gunfire Wednesday night. Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department were called to the 1500 block of Snyder Avenue around 7 p.m. for reports of a shooting. Police found 25-year-old Kaishef Johnson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and rushed him to the hospital where he died. Chief Inspector Scott Small told reporters Johnson was riding a bicycle when three masked shooters exited a parked burgundy-colored Nissan and opened fire. The shooters, Small said, stood over Johnson after he fell off his bike and...

A massive search is underway for an unknown man who killed three people and wounded at least eight in a knife attack at a festival in Solingen, Germany. Markus Caspers, from the counterterrorism section of the public prosecutor's office, said in a news conference Saturday that authorities have not found the perpetrator, but a 15-year-old boy who police believe knew about the planned attack was arrested earlier in the day. Officials said that they are not ruling out the possibility of terrorism as the motive behind the attack. Police believe a lone attacker was responsible. After the knife attack at...

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Americans’ views of the effects of marijuana have worsened over the past two years, as slim majorities now say it negatively impacts both society as a whole (54%) and most people who use it (51%). This contrasts with Gallup’s findings from 2022, when the public was about evenly divided in its assessments of marijuana’s effect on society and more likely to say the effect on most users was positive (53%) rather than negative (45%).

Democrats are panicking about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s endorsement of former President Donald Trump, blasting out a press release Friday attempting to make it sound as if it does not benefit Trump in the slightest. RFK Jr. formally suspended his presidential campaign on Friday during a speech, blasting the Democrat party for dismantling democracy and now standing as the party of censorship, Big Pharma, Big Tech, Big Money, and more. “I left the party to run as an independent. The mainstream of American politics and journalism derided my decision,” he said, unleashing on the Democratic National Committee (DNC) for essentially...

his great pedestal that the Corvette has been risen to has also allowed the car to grow and expand in the aftermarket world. As we all know, the aftermarket scene can be a powerful thing, pun intended. However, when starting with a platform as awesome as the nation's greatest American powerhouse there is a lot of potential to make something truly amazing. This is best exemplified by today’s example which is a fantastic combination of lightweight and heavy horsepower. It all started with a little red C8 Corvette. After a long and arduous process, this vehicle has driven headfirst into the...

EXCLUSIVE — Eugene Vindman, a Trump whistleblower-turned-Democratic congressional candidate in Virginia, is facing a Federal Election Commission complaint over his campaign’s allegedly illegal coordination with an outside group. The complaint, filed with the FEC on Wednesday by the Functional Government Initiative, calls for the agency to investigate Vindman, the Democrat’s campaign, and a political action committee called VoteVets. That’s because, in the telling of the watchdog group, a recent interaction with the press appears to show that VoteVets, which supports progressive veterans for office such as Vindman, made an “excessive and impermissible” in-kind contribution to Vindman’s campaign. “The public is...
