Investigators in Philadelphia are searching for three shooters accused of ambushing a bike rider with a barrage of gunfire Wednesday night.
Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department were called to the 1500 block of Snyder Avenue around 7 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
Police found 25-year-old Kaishef Johnson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and rushed him to the hospital where he died.
Chief Inspector Scott Small told reporters Johnson was riding a bicycle when three masked shooters exited a parked burgundy-colored Nissan and opened fire.
The shooters, Small said, stood over Johnson after he fell off his bike and continued to fire more shots. Investigators found over 40 spent shells at the crime scene.

What color was the bicycle? Funny how this report can list the small details, but no mention of the races involved.
