A defiant Benjamin Netanyahu, in an address to a joint meeting of Congress on Wednesday, dismissed as âutter nonsenseâ criticisms by the United Nations, human rights groups and the International Criminal Court that Israelâs government has committed war crimes in Gaza, and he derided pro-Palestinian protesters as âidiotsâ and tools of Iran. The Israeli prime minister told U.S. lawmakers that Israel will settle for ânothing lessâ than total victory over Hamas, and described a vision for postwar Gaza seemingly at odds with the terms of a peace deal advocated by the Biden administration. The fate of Israel and the United...

The likely 2024 presidential election campaign between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump begins with no clear leader, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS after President Joe Biden ended his bid for reelection. Trump holds 49% support among registered voters nationwide to Harrisâ 46%, a finding within the pollâs margin of sampling error. Thatâs a closer contest than earlier CNN polling this year had found on the matchup between Biden and Trump.

WASHINGTON â White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre insisted Wednesday that President Biden remains sharp as a tack and âabsolutelyâ could serve another four-year term â stunning journalists at her first briefing since Biden dropped his re-election campaign over concerns about his mental acuity. âLook, he didnât step down from campaigning or from running because he didnât believe he can serve in a second term. That is not why,â Jean-Pierre claimed to the incredulity of the press corps. The press secretary said the 81-year-old presidentâs decision to drop out Sunday and endorse Vice President Kamala Harris, 59, was in the...

Vice President Kamala Harris, seeking the Democrat nomination for president, recently lobbied to eliminate gas-powered cars by 2035 â transitioning fully to electric vehicles (EVs) â despite the impact on millions of American auto jobs. As part of a green agenda while running for president in the 2020 Democrat primary, Harris detailed her plans to abolish sales of gas-powered cars by 2035 and ensure that Americans can only purchase EVs when looking for a new car.

The Democratic Party will select its new nominee, virtually, as soon as Aug. 1, according to new rules passed Wednesday by the party's convention rules committee. The Democratic National Committee also established that the party's candidate, which is likely to be Vice President Kamala Harris, must pick a running mate by Aug. 7, Ohio's current ballot deadline, which remains in effect. Harris' team is planning to finish the vetting of the VP field and expects her to pick her running mate by that date, according to a source familiar with the plans. The DNC's newly adopted rules, the result of...

Nerdy boy names come in all shapes, sizes, and styles and some are definitely cool. There geeky boy names are the clunky, old-school vintage choices that are starting to feel fresh, funky, and daring again, while still being rooted in tradition. Like thick black-rimmed spectacles and heavy oxfords, these nerdy names are so out, they're in, and deserve a spot amongst the other cool boy names. Some of these nerdy names for boys are now heading into the mainstream, like Arthur, Hugo, and Franklin, which all rank in the US Top 500 baby names for boys. Others, like Alfred, Harvey,...

Benjamin Netanyahuâs presentation in the House Chamber today was by far the worst presentation of any foreign dignitary invited and honored with the privilege of addressing the Congress of the United States. Many of us who love Israel spent time today listening to Israeli citizens whose families have suffered in the wake of the October 7th Hamas terror attack and kidnappings. These families are asking for a ceasefire deal that will bring the hostages home â and we hope the Prime Minister would spend his time achieving that goal.

President Biden addresses the nation at 8 p.m. Eastern to either explain why he withdrew from re-election on Sunday, maybe he is now resigning today, or will try and explain why he is still competent to remain as president. White House: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93T8biDlaBc

Late on Sunday morning, Vice President Kamala Harris summoned a small clutch of her closest advisers and allies to the Naval Observatory, where she lives and works, with little notice and even less information. President Biden had informed Ms. Harris earlier that morning that he was withdrawing from the race. The vice president had assembled her team so that the exact moment Mr. Biden formally quit, at 1:46 p.m. â one minute after the president had informed his own senior staff â they were ready to go. Time was of the essence. A sprawling call list of the most important...

In assessing her candidacy for president of the United States, it is instructive to consider the positions taken by Vice President Kamala Harris on several issues of interests to Catholics. She is a passionate defender of abortion rights. Indeed, there is no record of her opposing abortion at any time during gestation or for any reason whatsoever. She has also tried to force states that restrict abortions to obtain federal approval from the Department of Justice before implementing them. When Harris was Californiaâs attorney general, she bludgeoned pro-life activist David Daleiden. He used undercover videos to expose how abortion operatives...

For free speech advocates, there are few images more chilling than that of Nina Jankowicz singing her now-infamous tune as âthe Mary Poppins of Disinformation.â The woman who would become known as the âDisinformation Czarâ sang a cheerful TikTok parody of âSupercalifragilisticexpialidociousâ to rally people to the cause of censorship. When the press caught wind of President Bidenâs plan to appoint Jankowicz as head of the Department of Homeland Securityâs new âdisinformation board,â Fox News said she âintended to censor Americansâ speech.â The backlash was swift. Plans for the board were suspended, and Jankowicz resigned in 2022. She then sued...

Former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan (R) will be supporting Vice President Harris in November after previously saying he would back President Biden. Duncan endorsed Harris in an interview on The Atlanta Journal-Constitutionâs âPolitically Georgiaâ podcast that aired Wednesday. He has been a staunch critic of former President Trump and revealed in May that he would be supporting Biden instead of the former president for the White House. He was asked on the podcast whether he has or will be endorsing Harris. He said after Bidenâs poor showing at the debate last month, he thought the Democratic Party would do...

Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu nailed it when today he saidâWhen the tyrants of Tehran who hang gays from cranes and murder women for not covering their hair are praising and promoting and funding you, you have officially become Iran's useful idiots.â Those scumbag useful idiots were on full display this afternoon causing chaos at the Capitol and at Union Station in DC. Currently, absolute chaos is unfolding as thousands of Pro-Palestine protesters have gathered at Union Station in Washington, DC. Moments ago, they took down three American flags and replaced them with Palestinian flags, with crowds of thousands cheering....
