British warships in the Red Sea can not carry missiles capable of destroying Houthi rebel bases - despite the Yemeni group continuing its campaign of strikes against civilian ships. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Royal Navy destroyers and frigates do not have the capability to strike Houthi land targets and the situation has been described as a "scandal" by a former UK defence chief. The deficiency has left the US to strike land targets against the belligerent group alone - aided by RAF aircraft nearly 1,500 miles away. A British defence source told the Sunday Telegraph that the HMS Diamond, stationed to respond to...

Jean Carroll accused several men of sexual assault including a babysitter’s boyfriend. a dentist, a camp counselor, a college day, a boss, and Les Moonves from CBS – and, of course, Donald Trump. We forgive you if you’ve never heard this before. A pair of Brooklyn public school teachers are plying kids as young as eight with anti-Israel propaganda, drawing lessons from a company that offers material twisting the classic “Wheels on the Bus” song into a hateful screed that cheers the eradication of the Jewish state, The Post has learned. In Giuseppe Rebaudengo and Anna Battaglia’s third-grade classrooms at PS 705 in Prospect Heights, young minds are being molded into “social justice warriors,” learning from materials that morph the beloved 1939 kiddie tune into a Palestinian resistance cry called “The Wheels on the Tank.” “The wheels on the tanks go round...

In the Readings for this Sunday, we are following 1 Corinthians and the Gospel of Mark ad seriatim, so there is less cohesion between the Second Reading and the Gospel than on a high feast day. Nonetheless, the Readings this week can be linked by the theme of “hearing the voice of the prophet.” 1. The First Reading is a very famous passage from the Book of Deuteronomy that should be familiar to every Catholic student of biblical theology. Reading 1: Deuteronomy 18:15-20Moses spoke to all the people, saying: "A prophet like me will the LORD, your God, raise up...

President Joe Biden and his deputies are using the unfinished and unreleased draft border deal as political cover for their continued refusal to guard the nation’s border during the 2024 election campaign. “What’s been negotiated would – if passed into law – be the toughest and fairest set of reforms to secure the border we’ve ever had in our country,” Biden said in a statement Friday night. “It would give me, as President, a new emergency authority to shut down the border when it becomes overwhelmed. And if given that authority, I would use it the day I sign the...

There was an active shooter in Edmonton's City Hall this week, and you probably haven't heard about it. And gee, I wonder why... Maybe it's because this shooter wasn't "MAGA" enough. Maybe it's because this was a terror attack carried out by a Muslim. AND PERHAPS, it's because he clearly cites the "genocide in Gaza," inflation, and the "man-made immigration crisis" as the reason for his attack. Joe Warmington @joe_warmington · Follow A jihad-like terror attack in Canada that no one seems to know about | Toronto Sun torontosun.com WARMINGTON: This was a jihad-like terror attack in Canada that no...

Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino revealed in his podcast Friday that the Secret Service has ordered agents to not wear red ties. The order came down last week after an agent guarding Trump was photographed sporting a similarly colored red tie as Trump as he took the stage at a campaign rally in New Hampshire. Russian forces will be given “invisibility cloaks” which will fully protect them from heat-detection cameras, a Russian contractor has claimed. The cloaks, developed by military tech firm HiderX, are a “completely new product”, and would make geared-up soldiers “look like an unnatural object” to obscure them from “hostile heat seekers”. Other cloaking technologies fail to completely hide the silhouette of the target, which HiderX's new product manages to solve. “We design a completely new product - a camouflage suit that dilutes the silhouette,” HiderX told Russian state-owned news agency Tass. “It is a completely Russian technology that coats the fabric...

Conservative attorney George Conway railed against former President Trump, calling him an “evil man,” after a jury ruled Trump must pay columnist E. Jean Carroll for defaming her by repeatedly denying her sexual assault allegations. “He’s somebody who can’t control himself,” Conway told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins Friday, echoing rhetoric from the judge presiding over the case. “And, he can’t control himself because he’s a deeply disturbed, a morally bereft human being who has no conscience, has no morality, has no empathy, has no remorse and is sadistic as we saw during the trial.”

On Friday’s “CNN News Central,” Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) stated that “the Democrats let” the crisis at the border happen and urged President Joe Biden to declare a national emergency on the border if Congress can’t pass legislation to fix the problem. Manchin said, “It’s the most dangerous thing we have, is the border security right now and a lapse of border security. So, we can fix that. But when you have former President Trump saying, oh, no, we can’t do that, because let’s just go ahead and blame the Democrats. Well, the Democrats let this happen. But it’s time...

KEEP MOVING A college class was graduating on a hot and humid day. As the graduates walked across the platform and received their diplomas from the president of the college, he smiled, shook their hands, and said loudly, "Congratulations!" Then, in a much lower voice, one that was firm and could be heard only by the graduates, he would say, "Keep moving". He was only trying to keep the line moving across the stage, but his words were good advice for a lifetime: "Keep moving". After every achievement growing up, graduation, marriage, job promotion, even retirement the best advice...

Could Robert F. Kennedy Jr. be Donald Trump’s running mate in 2024? The Trump has had thoughts along these lines. Kennedy about the possibility of serving as his running mate.” Someone whom the Post identified as “one person familiar with the matter” said that “Trump operatives expressed an interest in Kennedy early on, but it was all premature,” as it was “right out of the box when Bobby announced” his candidacy for president in April 2023.
