Republican presidential candidate Gov. Ron DeSantis rattled off a list of what he deemed to be broken 2016 campaign promises by former President Donald Trump, saying he’d rather attack the GOP front-runner on the issues than personality. "Substantively, we've been very frank about our differences with respect to the former president," the Florida governor said. "I mean, for example, he promised to drain the swamp – it got worse. He did not drain the swamp. "He promised to have Mexico pay for a border wall. They did like 50 miles of wall. There's massive expanses still there," he continued. "He...

On July 11, Georgia state Rep. Mesha Mainor announced that she had left the Democrat Party to become a Republican, telling social media, “I will NEVER apologize for being a black woman with a mind of my own.” Since then, the former Democrat has shared some of the utterly hate-filled racist emails sent to her by members of her former party. Trust me when I say some of these messages are very graphic and difficult to read. Instead of flying off the handle, Mainor responded in a manner that can only be described as class.

Twitter, the social media platform that has boasted free speech protections since coming under the control of Elon Musk, has suspended the account of Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò. In recent months, Viganò has also blasted the “blasphemous” acts of honoring the anti-Catholic Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at a major league baseball game and applauded those who gathered in prayerful protest of the LA Dodgers’ “pride night” on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Additionally, the archbishop criticized the globalist New World Order as similar to the “antichurch of Satan.”

Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki and House Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), two key perpetrators of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax, had another conspiracy theory to peddle on Psaki’s CNN show on Sunday. On MSNBC, the interlocutors bantered about the baseless speculation that House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) was an asset of foreign agents, due to his investigations into alleged Biden family corruption. “I want to ask about the work of the Oversight Committee, because you and Congressman Dan Goldman sent a letter to Oversight Chair James Comer this week requesting that he hand over any information he’s...

Fox News contributor Newt Gingrich reacts to Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo’s exclusive interview with Donald Trump on ‘Sunday Morning Futures.’ "The big difference is in 2017, Trump was a businessman under tremendous assault from the FBI and the New York Times and the Washington Post, learning the trade. Now, he has had enough time to think it through. I think his first year is going to be astonishing. And I think people are going to be amazed at how much he can get done; how big of a team he can assemble. And frankly barring some enormous change he is...

It’s the 300th birthday of Sir Joshua Reynolds on Sunday (July 16) and at Kenwood House, they’re celebrating by bringing together the 17 pictures of his that the museum owns. A dozen are in one room; five in another, set alongside his rivals and contemporaries, Gainsborough and Romney. It’s a splendid opportunity to see the span of the work of the man who dominated the artistic life of England in his age. He was revered by contemporaries: John Constable wrote that his paintings conveyed “certainly the finest feeling of art that ever existed”. Only the contrarian William Blake took the...

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan represents the UniParty outlook from Washington DC.From the position of influence and affluence, both Republican and Democrat policy makers are aligned in a unified outlook toward foreign policy and geopolitical affairs. Washington DC does not have two competing political parties on these issues; there is complete alignment and unidirectional focus. Never forget that. Before getting to the Sullivan points, I’m going to shift the discussion slightly, back to the core and explain something that might help provide context for issues from China to Russia and beyond.Everyone in Washington DC agrees with the agencies and institutions that...

An ex-Donald Trump campaign manager has cashed in on Bud Light’s disastrous tie-up with Dylan Mulvaney by launching a “woke-free beer” called Ultra Right — and its latest ad is a cinematic parody that takes another jab at the embattled brew. The latest ad for the new beer, called Ultra Right, plays on the comedic action film “Smokey the Bandit,” a 1970s hit about a truck driver who transports an illegal shipment of beer across state lines. “That’s me, Conservative Dad. You’re probably wondering how I got here,” the ad starts while showing founder, chief executive and so-called “Conservative Dad”...

High school English teachers today face prison in Florida if they have their class perform a Shakespeare play in period dress. Every Shakespeare play at the Globe required cross-dressing.Women were not allowed on English stages 400 years ago, so women’s roles were played by cross-dressing men, whether at The Globe, the Blackfriars or, what was it called? O, yeah, the Roxy. This led to the delightful scene in “The Merchant of Venice” in which Portia, played by a cross-dressing man, criss-cross-dresses as a woman playing a man, to save his/her/its friend’s friend Antonio. Right: a man playing a woman playing...

London's Big Ben looks straight out of a disaster movie, straddled by a mass of murky floodwater, while the Pyramids of Giza are home to a toxic urban landscape. "Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee." "Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves." "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became...

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif) made a fool out of himself after getting into a public spat with House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), defending the naked photos of women that were found on Hunter Biden’s laptop. During a hearing with FBI Director Christopher Wray this week, Swalwell argued that there is no proof the nude images on Hunter’s laptop were not consensual— despite a field day of evidence that Republicans say could have impacted the outcome of the 2020 elections. The disgraced Democrat said it is “bananas” to think the suppression of the abandoned laptop discovery by liberal media outlets...

@TuckerCarlson Sounds like this could use a longer conversation. We just asked @GovChristie to sit down and explain his views on Ukraine. He refused. You hate to think that Chris Christie is a blustery coward who plays the tough guy with sycophants at ABC but won’t answer real questions, but who knows? We hope he reconsiders.
