Republican presidential candidate Gov. Ron DeSantis rattled off a list of what he deemed to be broken 2016 campaign promises by former President Donald Trump, saying he’d rather attack the GOP front-runner on the issues than personality.
"Substantively, we've been very frank about our differences with respect to the former president," the Florida governor said. "I mean, for example, he promised to drain the swamp – it got worse. He did not drain the swamp.
"He promised to have Mexico pay for a border wall. They did like 50 miles of wall. There's massive expanses still there," he continued. "He said he was going to eliminate the national debt. They added almost $8 trillion to the debt in four years.
"And of course, in 2020, he turned the country over to Dr. [Anthony] Fauci, and those lockdowns and the borrowing and printing really set us on a bad course," he added. "I've been very, very frank at that."

Sorry, but IMHO Trump is the best President we have had since Reagan. We need Trump in 2024. He will not be tied to the deep pocket PACs like DeSantis will be.

The issue now, is who is most qualified to carry the war forward. This mounth and especially last might proved that it is Trump 2.0.
DeSantis wants people to vote against President Trump rather that for DeSanis’ policies.
What does he think Republicans are, Democrats?
me and wifey like DeSantis...as our governor. our Great and Free state of Florida is better with him as governor. IF he dumps us, we dump him. that simple.
Under pressure people reveal their true nature. Trump reveals he will fight for America no matter the level of obstruction and attacks on him & his associates.
DeSantis reveals that he is the snake. When you sow the ground with salt you will never harvest another crop from that land.

Trump did far more to fulfill his promises than most other Presidents, He also had to work against incredible treachery from some of the same people that have made it easy for Ron to try and look good.
It won’t be that easy Ron if you actually have a lot of opposition. A one term Governor with a rubber stamp legislature who composes all kinds of candy store bills for you to tout isn’t strong opposition.
Seems like the Meatball is getting his act from Chris Christie.
