All your spurious accusations have been rebutted repeatedly in this thread. When you are proven wrong you just repost the same drivel. You invent promises, take things out of context, suspend the realities of definitions & of Presidential powers.
My favorite is pretending that a man who said “I prefer traditional marriage” when there was no law permitting gay marriage, a man who said “I think that should be the law of the land and I will appoint justices that share that view” quite rightly said after the law was passed that “gay marriage is the law of the land” somehow betrayed his promise & lied to Americans.
That analysis is simply wacky. There are so many problems facing Americans that Trump could & did address. Emulating Don Quixote by mounting a personal campaign to overturn a law is stupid & ineffectual. The President has no such right.
DeSantis is just throwing things against the wall to see if anything sticks. He’s got nothing else in his quiver, no accomplishments in Congress, a broken promise to Floridians and 6 months of haring around instead of addressing issues in Florida.
This website says he “follows the Christian religion” but then it also says “Religion/Caste: “Hinduism.” So I don’t know what his religious beliefs are at this point.
Defending Trump can be completely exhausting, in light of all the facts exposing his duplicity. I know from experience, and am so glad to finally be free of that burden. You should try it sometime.
Move beyond the peer pressure to support the antics of a child-like billionaire, who reeks as much damage on our causes as he actually helps them. I know it feels noble to try to portray Trump as our white night fighting deep state evil, but he’s proven he’s just not very good at it, and is more of a punching bag than a prize fighter.
As I said above, whenever he promises to do something important, it typically ends up going in the opposite direction, even worse than it was. So I’m expecting he will be completely BLOWN OUT in the general election, if he gets the nomination, since he’s claimed the last one was stolen but has done nothing to secure it since then, or win over voters in those swing states.

Trump should have saved his “truth” telling until after he got what we needed from McCain. He should have been sitting in the oval office counting votes every single day until the final floor vote and asking himself, who’s vote is at risk? How can I make sure they land on our side? What else can I do, say, promise to make sure this passes? Who do I need to call? Who do I need to meet with?
He bragged about being the ultimate deal maker and then sabotaged one of the most important deals to our country because he couldn’t control himself.

Revisionist historian. Great job if you can get it. Trump did all that and more, he worked every angle to get the votes, wined, dined, listened, promised. McCain’s no vote was unexpected and was targeted at McConnell according to many articles at the time, not at Trump.
