We Need Truth and JusticeTwo years since “two weeks to slow the spread,” life appears to have returned to some kind of normal. With a few indefensible exceptions, most pandemic mandates have been rolled back. The vaccine passes that cropped up across the western world in a wave of faddish illiberalism have largely been abandoned, at least for now, often with little pretext of an apolitical rationale. Lost in the mainstream media’s memory hole, the strict lockdowns that brought the free world to its knees in 2020 seem to many like a distant memory. All around, artifacts of the psychosis that...

Researchers have uncovered how cancer cells that have spread to the brain (metastasis) are able to resist the effects of radiotherapy. The study reveals a new biomarker detected in a blood test to indicate whether a patient will respond to radiotherapy. The researchers also discovered a specific type of drug, called a RAGE inhibitor, which can enter the brain and reverse the resistance to radiotherapy. Radiotherapy is considered the gold standard treatment for tumors that have spread to the brain from elsewhere in the body, but these tumors are resistant to treatment in many cases. The researchers discovered that one...

‘You have heard that the ancients were told, “You shall not commit murder” and “Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.” But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, “You good-for-nothing,” shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, “You fool,” shall be guilty enough to go into fiery hell’” (Matthew 5:21–22). Throughout history, most decent people rest assured that at least one sin they have not committed is murder. The conventional wisdom limits murder to physically taking another...

In the latest inflationary shock – one which Biden will dutifully read from the teleprompter was entirely the fault of "PutInflation" – even if a chart of CPI in context shows otherwise… … this morning the BLS reported that headline CPI skyrocketed 1.2% (1.24% unrounded) M/M in March as energy surged 11.0% and food prices jumped 1.0% mom for a second consecutive month. The energy price moves reflect the shock from the Russia-Ukraine conflict, while food has yet to feel the impact given lagged pass-through and is likely to remain hot throughout the year. In other words, while much of...

Given Sarsour’s record – supporting antisemite Louis Farrakhan, invoking “Jewish supremacy,” saying Zionists cannot be feminists, and supporting Palestinian terrorist Rasmea Odeh, this is an accurate representation of her views. Beyond that, she has publicly praised a misogynist and anti-gay Muslim cleric, Imam Siraj Wahhaj, as her mentor.

The practical Way to go : At a minimum, frugal financial planning for preppers simply means living within your means so that you are able to build yourself a financial cushion. For beginning preppers, this is important to ensure that you can build sufficient emergency reserves of supplies and cash (cash on hand, not at the bank). In addition, you will want to gradually reduce your reliance on things that may not be available to you, such as utilities and fuel.

Election conspiracy theorists take top spots in Colorado GOP primaries after assembly By: Blair Miller , Meghan LopezDENVER – False election conspiracy theories permeated the Colorado Republican state assembly over the weekend, and some of the people who have pushed the false notions about mail ballots and the 2020 election will be on the ballot – sometimes in the top slot – for this summer’s Republican primary. Mesa County Clerk and Recorder Tina Peters, who has been indicted by a grand jury and faces several felony charges tied to allegations she helped breach the county’s election system, took home 60%...

Was that it for the oil plunge? Having nearly reversed all of the post-Ukraine gains following its latest 4% drop on Monday, oil staged a powerful recovery on Tuesday as traders weighed China’s demand outlook following the easing of some virus restrictions in the financial hub of Shanghai, while tensions over the war in Ukraine escalated. WTI rose soared than 6% to trade back over $100/bbl after news overnight that Shanghai eased lockdowns for some housing complexes, but most people remained confined to their homes, and authorities have indicated they will reimpose restrictions if virus cases climb. Prior to this...

Last Friday, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas declared white supremacists and “domestic violent extremism” to be the “most prominent threat” currently facing our country. The timing could not have been more perfect. Just hours later, a jury in Grand Rapids, Michigan exposed the Justice Department’s largest alleged “domestic terrorism” case of the last 18 months as a failed FBI entrapment scheme to smear conservatives as white supremacists ahead of the 2020 election. By refusing to convict four men accused of plotting to kidnap and kill Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer before Election Day 2020, the Grand Rapids jury seemed to side...

Gov. Abbott should use the power he has under the U.S. Constitution to repel the invasion crossing Texas’s border every single day.In light of President Biden’s announcement he’s ending Title 42 removal authority at the southern border, last week Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced what he called “unprecedented” actions to stop the flow of illegal immigration. The first part of his plan, while lauded as aggressive, unfortunately falls short of unprecedented and won’t stop the invasion at the southern border. It’s true: the end of Title 42 will ensure a catastrophic surge of illegal immigration heading into the warmer spring...

Joe Oltmann, who in December called for Democratic Governor Jared Polis to be hanged, was briefly nominated for governor by delegates at the Colorado Republican Party’s state assembly on Saturday. The motion from the floor was seconded by state Rep. Patrick Neville of Castle Rock, a former House minority leader, Colorado Public Radio reported. In a speech, Oltmann declined to pursue the nomination, instead urging delegates to throw their support behind two of his allies: U.S. Senate candidate Rep. Ron Hanks and secretary of state hopeful Tina Peters, the indicted Mesa County Clerk and Recorder, according to The Colorado Sun....

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday claimed peace talks with Ukraine had reached a “dead end,” and called images of a massacre of Ukrainian civilians in the Kyiv suburb of Bucha that have sparked international outrage “fake,” according to multiple outlets, as the mayor of the city said the death toll was likely to rise. Speaking alongside Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko at a press conference at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in eastern Russia, Putin asserted that Russia’s military operation in Ukraine was going “according to plan” and pledged to continue the invasion with peace talks at what he described as a...

Veteran pro-life activist Randall Terry has accused the Department of Justice (DOJ) and its Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of targeting pro-lifers after the discovery of fetal remains outside a Washington, DC abortion clinic. “These people contacted the local authorities and then suddenly the DOJ comes in with the FBI to arrest them,” said Randall Terry at an April 5 press conference. “The indictment had come almost a month earlier. The DOJ under Trump was not prosecuting these cases. So somebody wanted to show their pro-abortion-bona fides at the Department of Justice and dug up a case that was two...

Climate change made the record-smashing deadly 2020 Atlantic hurricane season noticeably wetter, a new study says. And it will likely make this season rainier, too, scientists said. Human-caused climate change made the entire season -- 30 named storms -- drop 5% more rain. During the 14 storms that reached hurricane status the rainfall was 8% heavier, according to the study in Tuesday’s Nature Communications. “It doesn’t sound like a lot, but if you’re near a threshold, a little bit can push you over the top,” said Lawrence Berkeley National Lab climate scientist Michael Wehner, co-author of the paper. “The implication...

Speaking in the Rose Garden on Monday, an aviator-clad President Biden trotted out more of the same misleading claims Democrats have used for years in their attempts to demonize legal firearm ownership by law-abiding citizens. The speech, meant to announce new executive action to regulate so-called "ghost guns" (a conjured up term to make homemade guns sounds scarier), turned into a gaffe-filled exercise in misinformation. Repeatedly referring to the ATF as "AFT" — a gaffe that apparently confused the federal agency with the teachers union — Biden also repeated several the left's favorite anti-gun buzzwords and tropes as an excuse...

When he arrived at Christ the Savior Cathedral to pay his respects to the ultra-nationalist Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who had died of COVID-19, Russian President Vladimir Putin carried a clutch of red roses. The man beside him was carrying a briefcase. That briefcase appeared to be Russia's version of the "football" that is carried by a military aide to U.S. presidents and contains the codes for launching strategic nuclear weapons. French King Louis XIV had stamped upon his cannon the inscription, "Ultima Ratio Regum" -- The Last Argument of Kings. In our era, nuclear weapons are the ultima ratio of nation-states....
