Senate Bill 83, called the Save Women’s Sports Act and sponsored by Sen. Robby Mills, directs the Kentucky High School Athletic Association Board of Control to pass regulations banning those identified as males on their birth certificates from participating on girls’ sports teams. The measure passed the Senate Education Committee on a party-line 9-3 vote. Current KHSAA policies allow transgender student-athletes to compete on teams based on their gender identities if they have undergone sex reassignment before puberty or undergone such procedures and take hormonal therapies.

Explanation: What's different about this Moon? It's the terminators. In the featured image, you can't directly see any terminator -- the line that divides the light of day from the dark of night. That's because the image is a digital composite of 29 near-terminator lunar strips. Terminator regions show the longest and most prominent shadows -- shadows which, by their contrast and length, allow a flat photograph to appear three-dimensional. The original images and data were taken near the Moon by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. Many of the Moon's craters stand out because of the shadows they all cast to...

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) and five Senate colleagues distributed a letter to colleagues stating they will not grant consent to expedite passage of a Continuing Resolution without a roll call vote on an amendment that defunds the enforcement of the remaining federal vaccine mandates. The letter reads in part “We have consistently opposed President Biden’s federal COVID-19 vaccine mandates, which would force millions of Americans to choose between an unwanted medical procedure and being able to provide for their families. For legal, constitutional, and policy reasons, we remain not only strongly opposed to the mandates, but also firmly convinced that...

“‘Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven’” (Matthew 5:3). Continuing from yesterday, a fourth principle for determining our humility, which Thomas Watson recognizes, is that we will see the strengths and virtues of others as well as our own weaknesses and sins. As the apostle instructs, we will “regard one another as more important than” ourselves (Phil. 2:3) and will “give preference to one another in honor” (Rom. 12:10). Fifth, we will spend a lot of time in prayer. As the physical beggar pleads for earthly sustenance, spiritual beggars ask regularly for spiritual food....

We who know Christ’s righteousness are not to live as those who are without hope. We have been blessed with both the love and the fear of God. What does God want his people to know in light of this truth? He says it all in one verse, “So the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness; sorrow and sighing shall flee away” (Isaiah 51:11, NKJV). In other words: “I’m going to have a people who return to me with trust, faith and...

Men and women in same-sex couples are more likely to commute by public transport and less likely to drive to work than those in different-sex couples, according to a new study. Researchers from the University of Exeter Business School analyzed how sexual orientation impacts on choice of transport to work, using data from the American Community Survey comprising 3 million working age households. They found a 'sexual orientation gap' that was particularly stark among men, with gay and bisexual men in same-sex couples 7% more likely to commute by public transport (for women the gap was 3%) and 13% less...

Spain’s maritime rescue service said an international operation was under way to locate the crew of the Villa de Pitanxo, a boat from the north-western Galicia region that went down 280 miles (450km) off the Newfoundland coast. Three people have been plucked from a life raft and seven bodies have been recovered in a search operation that has been hindered by wind, rough seas and reduced visibility. A plane, two helicopters and four boats are combing the area for survivors. Canadian rescuers said they were optimistic, despite the bad weather.

Jake Sullivan Biden’s National Security Advisor Was At The Heart Of The Russiagate LiesWhen Will He Be Indicted?Recent filings by Special Counsel Durham have focused renewed attention on the Hillary Clinton campaign’s efforts to spy on the Trump campaign in 2016 and to spy on Trump and his associates. Justifiably, the new information suggests the possibility of eventual criminal action against Hillary Clinton herself. It also brings into focus the role of Jake Sullivan, Biden’s National Security Advisor, in the current administration. It is increasingly clear that Sullivan was at the very heart of the efforts to discredit Trump and...

Brian Panish, the attorney representing the family of Halyna Hutchins, announced during a press conference in downtown L.A. on Tuesday that a wrongful death suit has been filed in New Mexico against Alec Baldwin and “others responsible for the safety on set and whose reckless behavior” led to the “senseless and tragic death” of the cinematographer on the Rust film set. Lawyers for the family of Halyna Hutchins announced the lawsuit filed in New Mexico in the name of Hutchins’ husband, Matthew Hutchins, and their son, Andros, at a Los Angeles news conference. At least three other lawsuits have been...

According to this CBC report, Russian agents are probably directing and manipulating the protests in Canada. This was based upon the observations of a cybersecurity expert who had as much evidence of this as the intelligence agencies in 2020 had that the Hunter Biden laptop story was the result of Russian disinformation. Therefore this story must be true... at least according to the CBC.

An outbreak of the highly pathogenic form of bird flu has been detected in the US Midwest and East Coast. According to Bloomberg, this does not pose an immediate threat to public health but is a significant concern to the agriculture industry. The United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) released a statement and confirmed the existence of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in poultry farms in two states, including a flock of commercial broiler chickens in Fulton County, Kentucky, and a flock of mixed-species birds in Fauquier County, Virginia. Samples from two Kentucky...

We reported earlier on some of the Biden connections to the Durham probe, including DNI John Ratcliffe confirming that Joe Biden had been told about the plan from the Clinton campaign to smear Donald Trump. But, there’s another intriguing piece of information that the Free Beacon just dropped — that in 2020, the Biden campaign also paid the same internet company being talked about concerning the Durham probe. The Biden campaign paid nearly $20,000 to a cybersecurity firm at the center of Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia probe. The campaign paid Neustar Information Services...

Dr. Robert Califf was narrowly confirmed by the Senate on Tuesday to lead the Food and Drug Administration, placing him back in the role he held during the final year of the Obama administration. The Senate confirmed President Biden’s nominee 50-46, after Califf received opposition from Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), who argued the doctor bore “a great deal of responsibility” for massive drug overdose deaths that have happened since his last tenure in the position. Califf, a longtime cardiology professor at Duke University, served in the role for a short 11 months and was replaced by former President Donald Trump...

Who ever thought we’d reach a moment in American history when doctors were forced to get permission from government to prescribe safe and effective drugs to their ailing patients? It never crossed my mind until the powers-that-be started playing their hand in 2020, doubling-down in 2021, and advancing medical tyranny beyond lunacy in 2022. I had an excellent discussion with Dr. Mary Talley Bowden on the topic during the latest episode of The Midnight Sentinel. She’s a wealth of information about the dynamics between hospitals and patients. But she’s one of very few doctors who are speaking out against vaxx-pushing...
