Both camps have denied any real friction, and they blamed “the media” for overhyping tensions, but Trump advisers say they see a hidden hand at play: that of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who is in a pitched battle with Trump over the future of the Republican Party in political races all over the country. They pointed to the podcast itself, because DeSantis made the attention-grabbing remarks on Ruthless, which is co-hosted by McConnell’s longtime adviser Josh Holmes. Shortly after the podcast was posted Friday, Twitter was flooded with the suggestion that DeSantis had knocked Trump by saying one...

The Golden State Warriors issued a statement regarding owner Chamath Palihapitiya’s controversial comments on Uyghur genocide in China. “Let’s be honest, nobody cares about what’s happening to the Uyghurs. You bring it up because you care and I think it’s nice that you care. The rest of us don’t care,” Palihapitiya said Saturday on a podcast that he co-hosts called “All In.” “I’m telling you a very hard, ugly truth. Of all the things that I care about, it is below my line.” “I think that human rights in the United States is way more important to me than human...

Lockdown after lockdown, restriction after restriction.Millions of lives have been put on hold, millions of others have been ruined. Millions of jobs have been lost, thousands of businesses are now closed forever. But a huge majority of the British people think it has all been worth it, and absolutely necessary due to the fear propaganda that has played on a 24/7 loop on their television screens, and headlined every newspaper...

There’s talk that some people are trying to purposely get the omicron variant. They think they’ll become immune and then can more easily move on with their lives but medical experts KRON4 spoke with say this is a huge mistake. This new trend is like the old days — Before there was a chickenpox vaccine, some parents would purposely get their kids exposed, so they could get it and no longer have to worry about it. Now, some are doing the same thing with omicron, in hopes they can put this pandemic behind them. “There’s no good reason to get...

A communications representative for a public school system in Virginia accidentally responded to a reporter seeking information used in their decision to continue with its mask requirement and what the district plans to do if Gov. Glenn Youngkin's (R) executive order allowing an opt-out of school mask mandates is followed. Arlington Public Schools communications director Frank Bellavia, intending to recommend that his colleagues not respond to an email from a Daily Caller reporter, mistakenly replied instead to the reporter, who sought the data used to determine the district's claim that masks are effective in mitigating COVID transmission. "FYI I recommended...

Every few years, someone pushing a startup to investors comes up with an acronym or buzzword which rapidly becomes the new hotness in those circles. One of the most pernicious is “as a Service,” which takes regular things and finds a way to charge you a regular fee to use them.Automotive companies just absolutely loved the sound of this, and the industry is rapidly moving to implement subscription services across the board. Even if there’s hardware in your car for a given feature, you might find you now need to pay a monthly fee to use it. Let’s explore how...

My interviews with Stew PetersICYMI: Here are the two interviews I did with Stew Peters where we talk about what is going on and why.Steve Kirsch3 hr ago 11857 I love Stew Peters. He’s not afraid to talk about what is really happening in America. One of the topics we discuss is “why is this happening?” I think that there are multiple agendas here and not a single mastermind. I think most people involved are simply misguided and believe the vaccines are safe and effective and people like me are evil. But not all. A few people at the top know...

Fan fights have been in vogue at sporting events of late, and we’ve got a bizarre one that happened at a Supercross event over the weekend. This past Saturday, when Anaheim 1 Supercross hosted an event at Angel Stadium, a woman flashed the crowd, holding her beer in her mouth. Another woman lectured the flasher, saying there were children around. From there, the video skips a little bit of time, but then we can see the woman who lectured the flasher get a beer tossed on her, and rush back up the stairs for a ruckus.

Progressives are openly frustrated as the Biden administration flounders on issues across the board, but they are dismissing outright suggestions that previous party leaders - or, worse, Republicans - could be the solution. The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Week all devoted real estate in their opinion sections this week to potential big names, including Hillary Clinton, to replace either President Biden or Vice President Harris on Democrats' next White House ticket. The problem? They have essentially no new relevance or natural links to 2024. "Democrats have a rich history of bringing old-school politicians out of...

PHILADELPHIA—Researchers with Independence National Historic Park have located an ancient document they say renders all national mandates and restrictions void. The document, dating to 1776, is being referred to as ‘The Declaration of Independence’ by park historians who allege it details the existence of unalienable rights and that governments derive their power from the consent of the governed. Sources indicate the document was found in the park archives, allegedly buried under a stack of Benjamin Franklin’s raunchy poems.

As with other European Union countries, the Dutch government has been reveling in the power COVID bestowed on it. In response, the Netherlands has seen huge and violent protests against those draconian strictures. I’m betting that some of those protesters were among the people who voted for Gideon van Meijeren, a young man newly elected to the Dutch Parliament. This young man, during his first appearance on the floor, managed in just two minutes to completely humiliate Prime Minister Mark Rutte. Watching the video will make your day.

In the old liberal order, a citizen was someone who could participate in the running of his government, either through voting or holding office. Initially, there were active and passive citizens, but both enjoyed the same rights and protections. The difference was the active citizen could vote and hold office, while the passive citizen was prohibited from those activities, until he met certain criteria, like owning property. The foundation of the liberal order was the individual. It was assumed that it was impossible to have a civil society without respecting the individual, as it was individual labor that made society...

On Saturday, the volcano at Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai erupted, sending ash plumes 30 kilometres into the atmosphere, kicking off a tsunami in Tonga that reached as far away as Alaska, and destroying a volcanic cone that connected the uninhabited islands of Hunga Tonga and Hunga Ha’apai. The volcano is around 65 kilometres northwest of Tongan capital, Nuku’alofa, with experts saying it was one of the most powerful eruptions since the 1990s. “The sea level gauge at Nuku’alofa, Tonga, recorded a tsunami wave of 1.19 metres before it stopped reporting,” Dr Hannah Power of the University of Newcastle said. “Waves of...
