After getting a stage four metastatic colon cancer diagnosis, this 92-year-old immediately began planning to do his favorite things for the last time, including one more meal at the beloved Lower East Side institution Katz’s Delicatessen. “This pilgrimage to the temple of pastrami was among a handful of items on the bucket list that my father, Rabbi Israel S. Dresner, drew up within 24 hours of the doctors telling him last month that he would not make it to his 93rd birthday in April,” wrote Avi Dresner to in a moving essay about the recent bittersweet afternoon he brought his...

My brother-in-law, Ruben, was just put on a ventilator this afternoon at Scripps Green Hospital. He’s 70, in reasonably good health, and lives in San Diego. Ruben started feeling sick right after Thanksgiving so he got a Covid test which was NEGATIVE! He kept getting sicker but figured it was just a cold. Then his wife tested positive, although she got the monoclonal antibodies right away and recovered quickly. Ruben retested and this time it was positive. However, since he’d been sick for more than 2 weeks, he didn’t qualify for the MAB. On Saturday, December 18th, she took him...

The Pennsylvania Secretary of State is suing the state’s Senate in order to prevent the auditors they hired to examine the Dominion voting machines. The corrupt Secretary of State Veronica Degraffenreid was not elected to office. She was appointed by the equally corrupt Gov. Tom Wolf. Needless to say that they are both caught up in panic mode. They know an audit would be devastating to their claim of an honest and fair election. Democrats in the state are suing over every attempt to audit the state. Fulton County allowed an audit of their machines so Veronica Degraffenreid decertified their...

Epps was originally near the top of the FBIs list of “most wanted” figures from the Jan. 6 protest-cum-riot at the Capitol. Then a funny thing happened. Epps’s name was purged from the FBI files. Some 700 people have been arrested for their part in the Jan. 6 demonstration. But Epps and a handful of other major players in that drama remain unindicted...

Republican Blake Masters, a candidate for U.S. Senate in Arizona, has sparked debate on Twitter after referring to tech mogul Elon Musk, who is white, as the “richest African American entrepreneur” in the nation. “Born in Africa and moved to America. That makes him an African American. That’s how it works.” “Perfection. I don’t think I’ve ever actually been excited to vote for an AZ senate candidate until now,” another tweeter asserted.

Thank you to all who sent their prayers previously to another thread awhile ago. I have now been diagnosed after a year as having stage four cancer. The Oncologist we visited today has decided to attack the lungs with Chemo Therapy, which will begin in two weeks. He said it doesn't look good, but maybe will slow this aggressive cancer enough to get me through my 75th birthday coming up one month after Christmas. We shall see. Thanks again everyone for your kind thoughts, and prayers. We appreciate them. Prayers are powerful medicine. RQSR

LOUISIANA (LifeSiteNews) – Collette Martin, a registered nurse with 17 years of experience, told a Louisiana Health & Welfare hearing on December 6 that nurses in hospitals are witnessing “terrifying” reactions to the COVID shots, but their concerns are being ignored and dismissed. I’m an RN of 17 years: 12 years oncology and in the past 5 years I’ve been a float resource nurse to all the different floors in the hospital. I’m extremely concerned with the idea of mandating this vaccine for our children. The reactions we’re seeing in the hospital with adults are terrifying and being ignored.Just some...

In a recent interview with Spain's Mariskal Rock, JUDAS PRIEST singer Rob Halford was asked which fellow British band was more important to him personally while he was coming up in the music scene in Birmingham, England in the late 1960s and early 1970s, DEEP PURPLE or BLACK SABBATH. He responded (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "They're all important to me for all of the styles and variety of music that they presented. I was naturally drawn to SABBATH because of the heaviness. If you put PURPLE on and then you put SABBATH on, or SABBATH on then PURPLE, they're both...

Persecution against Christians is on the rise in India -- with Christians suffering communal boycotts, physical abuse and legal harassment.Empowered by vaguely-defined state anti-conversion laws, anti-Christian mobs in many parts of the country scour through villages, seeking Christians to harm, churches to storm, Christian schools to attack and Christian literature to burn, according to a Wednesday report from the New York Times.“Christians are being suppressed, discriminated against and persecuted at rising levels like never before in India,” International Christian Concern advocacy director Matias Perttula told the outlet. “And the attackers run free, every time...”

GOP Rep. Tom Rice has said he regrets voting to sustain objections to the 2020 presidential election results in two states on Jan. 6 — and said former President Donald Trump was “responsible” for the riot that ravaged the Capitol that day. Rice (R-SC) told Politico Wednesday that while he still believes there were “real issues with the election,” he wishes he had voted differently. According to the outlet, Rice is believed to be the first GOP member of Congress to publicly disavow his Jan. 6 vote. “In retrospect, I should have voted to certify,” Rice said. “Because President Trump...

The Washington Post had a real scoop Monday: people in the 1940s held views that many would find racist and sexist today. It seems that Edward J.K. Gitre, an assistant professor of history at Virginia Tech, stumbled upon 65,000 pages of Army surveys from World War II in the National Archives. Wokescolds have now combed through them and are presenting the very worst of the “harsh views” expressed, in a project called “The American Soldier in World War II,” supported by Virginia Tech and the National Endowment for the Humanities. The Post breathlessly informs us that “a lot of it...
