Washington (AFP) – Pfizer and BioNTech said Monday their Covid-19 vaccine remained 100 percent effective in children 12 to 15 years old, four months after the second dose. The companies said that the new data, which involved 2,228 trial participants, will help support their applications for full approval in the United States and worldwide. No serious safety concerns were observed in individuals with at least six months of follow-up after the second dose. ‘As the global health community works to increase the number of vaccinated people around the world, these additional data provide further confidence in our vaccine's safety and...

Researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology were investigating coronaviruses in high-risk bat species from Laos prior to the pandemic, leaked documents revealed. The findings lend more weight to the hypothesis that SARS-CoV-2 leaked out from a Wuhan laboratory before causing a global pandemic, according to Daily Mail. They also suggest that it might be possible that both the bat origin theory of the COVID-19 pandemic and the lab-leak theory could be simultaneously true. According to a Sunday report from The Telegraph, scientists in September came across a coronavirus strain named Banal-52 in Laos. Banal-52 shared 96.8 percent of its...

President Joe Biden was silent on Monday morning after a vehicle plowed into a crowd at a Christmas parade in Wisconsin, killing at least five people. Biden did not make any statement about the incident, several hours after a red SUV drove into a crowd of people attending a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Police officers have identified the person driving the vehicle as Darrell Brooks, released on bail on Friday on a $1,000 bond after being charged with resisting an officer, reckless homicide, and disorderly conduct, according to the Associated Press. In July 2020, he was charged with reckless...

The judge presiding over the custody case of Republican U.S. Senate candidate Sean Parnell on Monday awarded primary custody of his three children to his estranged wife. Laurie Snell and Parnell separated in 2018. They have three children, ages 12, 11 and 8. During her testimony on the first day of the Butler County custody trial on Nov. 1, Snell alleged that Parnell had physically abused both her and her children. During his testimony the next week, Parnell denied he’d ever struck anyone in his family. A court docket in the case showed Senior Judge James Arner awarded primary physical...

On August 2, 1776, in the hushed silence pervading Independence Hall’s Assembly Room, in Philadelphia, fifty six Congress members signed The Declaration of Independence. Some signed furtively, some with aplomb, like the first signer John Hancock, President of The Continental Congress, but all signed the pivotal parchment with resolve, knowing that appending their signatures would alter their lives irreversibly and place each one in mortal danger. They validated and affirmed Independence from the British Empire in a document prepared by a Committee composed of John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Robert Livingston, and Roger Sherman. Thomas Jefferson’s eloquence and common...

A story by conservative blog Revolver News draws speculative conclusions about Ray Epps, a Trump supporter who attended the Jan. 6 riot. We’ve seen several attempts at rewriting the events of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. In one version, the breach resembled “an ordinary tourist visit.” We rated that Pants on Fire. In another, left-wing anti-fascists were to blame. That was baseless, too. Now comes the latest deflection, one that focuses on the federal government, and includes speculative claims that assert that the FBI is responsible for the day’s events. “Meet Ray Epps: The Fed-Protected Provocateur Who Appears To Have...

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Cadell Walker rushed to get her 9-year-old daughter Solome vaccinated against COVID-19 — not just to protect her but to help stop the coronavirus from spreading and spawning even more dangerous variants. Scientists agree. Each infection — whether in an adult in Yemen or a kid in Kentucky — gives the virus another opportunity to mutate. Protecting a new, large chunk of the population anywhere in the world limits those opportunities. Vaccinating kids also means reducing silent spread, since most have no or mild symptoms when they contract the virus. When the virus spreads unseen, scientists say,...

Barack Obama has a big new backer: Jeff Bezos. The Amazon founder and world’s second richest man is donating a whopping $100 million to the former president’s charity, the Obama Foundation said Monday. The donation comes as Amazon seeks to fend off challenges from the Biden administration. As part of the donation, Bezos has asked that Obama rename the plaza at his controversial Chicago presidential center in honor of former Congressman and civil rights advocate John R. Lewis, according to the Obama Foundation.

Last night, an unimaginable horror visited Waukesha, WI as a red SUV plowed into a parade, striking children and adults alike. At least five people are dead per the latest reports. The purported assailant has been identified as Darrell E. Brooks, a “rapper” with a long history of criminal conduct. A look at Brooks’ criminal record is eye-opening and includes counts related to domestic and sexual abuse. Videos on his social media also point to him having black nationalist views, including promoting the “revolution.” ----SNIP--- Democrats, largely backed by George Soros, have sought to produce “criminal justice reform” by electing...

New Zealand will ease COVID-19 measures and implement a new system for living with the virus next month, according to a Reuters report. The country has seen one of the strictest lockdowns in the world and will move away from its "zero COVID" policy to allow businesses and vaccinated people more freedom, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced on Monday. The new policy will be implemented on Dec. 2 at 11:59 p.m., with Arden acknowledging that "delta is here and not going away."

As I write, five persons are dead and over forty injured at the Waukesha Christmas Parade - a strange sentence to find oneself putting down in print. The injured include dozens of children, and the dead number members of Milwaukee's Dancing Grannies. Waukesha is a town of about 70,000 about fifty miles from the world-famous Kenosha.I switched on CNN this morning to find out the latest, and they weren't covering the story. So I take it the facts are not helpful to "the narrative". Is it in The New York Times? Why, yes, on page 22:SUV Plows into ParadeThese sick...

President Biden is again being accused of exaggerating his past, this time for saying that his Delaware home once burned down with the first lady inside — while local officials have said it was just a small kitchen fire. The commander-in-chief raised the 2004 blaze last week during remarks at a rusty New Hampshire bridge promoting his just-enacted infrastructure plan. “What happens if the bridge collapses and there’s a fire on the other side?” said Biden, raising the specter of emergency response delays. “It’s going to takes 10 miles longer to get to the fire. People can die. I mean,...

Source: Eli Kay/FacebookOn Sunday morning, a terrorist attack took place in Jerusalem leaving one Israeli dead and three injured. Attacks like this are always sad and cause a range of emotions, from anger to despair, that no matter what, Palestinian Arabs are always trying to kill us, just because we are Jews living in the Land. The man who was murdered was Eliyahu (Eli) Kay, 26. Eliyahu was a new immigrant from South Africa. He came to Israel to serve in the IDF as a lone soldier, joining the elite paratroopers. When I saw his picture in uniform with the...

Carving the turkey for Thanksgiving is a true honor for any man, and should be taken extremely seriously. Assuming you have no backup turkey, you have one opportunity to slice and carve it just perfectly, or your reputation with your family with be tainted forever. What better way to ensure you carve your Thanksgiving turkey properly and in the most manly way possible than with a chainsaw carving tool? The electric chainsaw turkey carving tool looks and acts like a real chainsaw, except it won’t actually cut wood, and it’s a much smaller version of its larger counterpart. Though a...

Following the departures of Jonah Goldberg and Stephen Hayes from Fox News, a new report says the network has seen a significant level of an internal dispute over the conspiracy theories espoused by Tucker Carlson. New York Times media columnist Ben Smith reported on Sunday that Goldberg and Hayes walked out because of Patriot Purge, Carlson’s 3-part Fox Nation docuseries about the storming of the U.S. Capitol. Fact-checkers and media commentators have been tearing Patriot Purge to shreds for boosting known propagandists and advancing unsubstantiated claims about January 6th. NPR’s David Folkenflik reported on this development new details that had...

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said in his maiden speech to Parliament that Australia is not a secular country but a free country. If only that were true. Australia is Terra Nullius, a place where personal identity is lost in mindless conformity to a stifling loss of freedom. Except, occasionally, on the weekends. I appear to have been banned by a group which calls itself a freedom movement for invoking God and talking about God too often for them. I would estimate that God was central to about a quarter of the very short speeches I gave at that movement...

Warmer-than-average conditions are most likely across the Southern tier of the U.S. and much of the Eastern U.S. with the greatest likelihood of above-average temperatures in the Southeast. Below-average temperatures are favored for southeast Alaska and the Pacific Northwest eastward to the northern Plains. The Upper Mississippi Valley and small areas of the Great Lakes have equal chances for below-, near- or above-average temperatures. ..wetter-than-average conditions are most likely in parts of the North, primarily in the Pacific Northwest, northern Rockies, Great Lakes, Ohio Valley and western Alaska. Democrats’ successive losses over the past two legislative cycles have all but obliterated the party’s hold over the Jersey Shore. Starting on Jan. 11, only one Democrat, Sen. Vin Gopal, will represent the coastal region south of Sayreville in the Legislature, and even he finds himself on a precarious perch amid Republican enthusiasm that could further imperil Gopal, a former Monmouth County Democratic chairman whose running mates lost re-election on Nov. 2. “The party itself has to look a lot and see how they’re doing things differently. A win is a win, but Democrats should not be celebrating,” Gopal told...
