On Wednesday, October 20, at around 6:30 p.m., a female Ocala Police Department officer received a text message from a phone number that was later confirmed to belong to Sammie Lee Osterloh. The text message stated, “It’s Sammie,” and added, “I will hurt you.” A second message stated, “I’ll be there tomorrow to beat your (expletive).” The female officer that received those text messages had arrested Osterloh’s boyfriend earlier in the day for a parole violation.(snip) During the phone call, Osterloh made threats to beat up the female officer, and that she was going to make sure to record it....
