When Tony Coelho wrote the American with Disabilities Act 31 years ago, his goal was to ensure that people with disabilities could participate in the workforce with equal opportunities of inclusion and success. Three decades later, people with disabilities — the largest minority group in the country — remain underrepresented in the workforce, particularly within the federal workforce. But Biden’s administration went one step further! They even fired their ASL interpreter after her support for former President Donald Trump was uncovered in videos posted online. An online petition called for the removal of American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter Heather Mewshaw...

The AR-15 — the deadliest abomination known to man. A gun so terrible it’s killed more people than net neutrality and Trump’s tax cuts combined. And to demonstrate how awful this weapon is, I did something foolish: I tried firing one. And the experience was so horrible I have not stopped crying and soiling myself since. Yes, even as I type this, tears fill my eyes at the remembrance of pulling that trigger and the terrible things that followed. And my pants... my pants are so soaked. How to describe the experience of firing that monstrosity? When I pulled the...

Her heart whispered that she could and should runA Marin County vaccine skeptic has joined a crowded field running to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom in next month’s recall election. Holly Baade, a single mom, former Miss California, and yoga instructor at a shaman school in Fairfax, is running as a disenchanted Democrat. Baade supported the Newsom recall from the beginning, but didn’t see any candidate she could support among the contenders. “So I felt a little dispirited. I felt a sensation of disappointment,” Baade told the Marin Independent Journal days ago. “Then all of a sudden in that same moment,...

Were you surprised by how much pushback you got, and how big a leap was it for you to put yourself out there like that? That must have been rough.”

International award winning journalist and former Assistant Treasury Secretary Dr. Paul Craig Roberts says the evidence is clear Covid vaccines are not safe and effective. Dr. Roberts says, “So, why the push for overriding everyone’s civil rights to vaccinate when you have information it doesn’t protect. It doesn’t reduce infections, and we have all these cases of illnesses caused by the vaccine. We also see Biden saying, quick, let’s give it full approval. Why do they want to give it full approval? If they have to admit there are cures after all, they have to stop using the vaccine. This...

Before the pandemic, many associates at professional service firms — e.g., consulting, financial, legal and accounting — spent long hours in the office. They often tried to maximize face time by staying late at their desks to impress their boss. During the pandemic, however, these associates worked from home. The practice of face time broke down since the boss could not see the associates slaving in their offices late at night. Yet, foreshadowing the future, the work at these firms was done well at home. To continue to attract top talent and improve productivity, professional service firms must shift away...

At their June 16, 2021, summit in Geneva, Presidents Joseph Biden and Vladimir Putin agreed to return their previously recalled ambassadors: Anatoly Antonov to Washington and John Sullivan to Moscow. There are so many simple questions that are being raised around Covid-19 and the supposed need for different policies at this moment, and no one is capable of explaining them to you. Why is that? Despite the fact that they claimed the previous administration refused to follow the science—and were proven wrong—they now find themselves in the odd position of desperately embracing solutions they actually campaigned against - HARD! They do so while dishonestly mischaracterizing even the current challenge. With the media’s help they are getting away with these fake science assumptions. Don’t believe me? Try these on for size:...

1,3-butadiene produced from bacteria. Credit: Yokohama Rubber The future environmental footprint of the tire industry could be substantially shrunk thanks to a new ecofriendly way found by four RIKEN researchers that harnesses bacteria to make a chemical used in synthetic rubber. Each year, factories around the world churn out more than 12 million metric tons of the organic chemical 1,3-butadiene, which is used in tires, adhesives, sealants and other plastic and rubber products. They produce it by an energy-intensive process that relies on petroleum, which contributes to climate change. Scientists have tried for many years to create 1,3-butadiene from more...
