A mishmash of Antifa banners, foreign flags, and communist and LGBT symbols covered the streets of Berlin, Germany as crowds of leftists turned out for International Workers’ Day, or May Day, on Saturday. As in Paris, France, the protests would later turn violent, with photographers capturing riot policemen arresting demonstrators, often against a backdrop of licking flames, and dozens of officers reportedly injured.

A bill recently passed by the Florida legislature would assess fines as high as $250,000 against social media companies that ban political candidates from their platforms. The bill — widely seen as a rebuke to tech companies that blacklisted then-President Donald Trump from their servers in the waning days of his administration this year — was passed earlier this week by the Florida House and Senate. It is expected to be signed by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis. The legislation directs that social media platforms "may not willfully deplatform a candidate for office who is known by the social media platform...

Speaking to Sky News yesterday Taiwan's Foreign Minister Joseph Wu explained Taiwan has been forced to invest massively in its military as the threat of a Chinese invasion grows. The foreign minister said Taiwan was putting "more investment in our military" after issuing a grave warning that China "seems to be preparing for their final military assault against Taiwan". But despite the concerns he stressed that the people of Taiwan are "determined to defend ourselves" in the face of growing Chinese aggression. Mr Wu said: "They (China) have been conducting disinformation campaigns, hybrid warfare and recently they have increased their...

Russia's Navy has test-fired a supersonic anti-ship cruise missile in the Black Sea in a show of force ahead of NATO military exercises in the region. With tensions still simmering following Russia's build-up of troops on its border with Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry tweeted on Friday footage of the Moskva guided missile cruiser from its Black Sea Fleet launching the Vulkan missile. The P-1000 Vulkan missile, an improved version of the Soviet-era P-500 Bazalt missile with greater range, was fired via the Moskva warship's Bazalt main missile system, the Defense Ministry said.

She said a group of “experts”, (The Brennan Center and The Protect Democracy Group) wrote a letter asking the DOJ to send Federal monitors to “observe” the Arizona audit. She describes them as “aggressive, dirty, back-room players” who work with BLM and Marxist groups intent on destroying our nation. Ward said that through a court-pushed agreement between the parties, “Arizona Secretary of State (SoS), Democrat Hack Katie Hobbs” gained access to the audit floor for three representatives. But now we have learned those “observers” monitoring the audit are not even from the SoS’s office. One is an “election consultant” with...

CHICAGO (CBS) — Firefighters in Gary, Indiana, put out multiple suspicious fires spanning miles across the city early Sunday morning. The fires were at several abandoned structures hit by what firefighters believe was an arsonist overnight. A city spokesperson said 15 to 18 structures were burned. One fire was at 8th Avenue and Tennessee and reignited Sunday morning, still smoldering with the front steps still standing and one wall just barely hanging on. Another fire was about a half mile away at 8th Avenue and Pennsylvania. Crews found another scene 2.5 miles away at 25th and Washington. Then five miles...

CHICAGO (CBS) — Next month, the city of Chicago will offer “Vax Passes.” The pass will allow vaccinated people to attend certain concerts and events. More details on how it works are expected in the next few weeks. Asked about the city’s “Vax Pass” initiative, Mayor Lori Lightfoot said the city is “constantly looking at ways in which we can incentivize folks to get the vaccine.” “We’re going to be looking at ways in which we can incentivize people to get vaccinated, and do that by looking at preferred seating, preferred admission. So that’s still very much a work in...

Everything is great, and America is about to enter a golden new era that will be overflowing with peace, prosperity and happiness. If you believe that, there is a very large bridge that I would like to sell to you. There is certainly nothing wrong with being optimistic about the future, and personally I am very excited about the next chapters in my life. But if you think that the United States is heading in the right direction you are not thinking straight. Evidence of our advanced state of decline is all around us, and yet we continue to embrace...

Concerning the signs of His coming, Jesus said there will be distress of nations on earth (Luke 21:25). On Apr. 23, 2021, on his Middle East Update, Amir Tsarfati said, “I want you to know one thing; in my entire lifetime, I have never seen such chaos militarily, politically, spiritually – and I’m talking about all across the world – outside of the Church, inside of the Church, in Europe, in America, in the Middle East, in the area of China, in the Philippines, all of that area.” Here are some recent events. One, concerning the Battle of Gog and...

My husband and I are of the latter end of the baby boomer generation. “What does that mean” my grand daughters asked? “We came out yelling!” I replied. My husbands' family settled in upstate New York where they have a lovely farm on top of a mountain overlooking a valley; there were fascinating structures left from previous generations to explore and to hear the story of. During a visit to my husbands' home when we were first dating, my husband agreed to let me ride a Honda Mini-cycle. I had no experience on such machines. He showed me how to...

Company excised wokeness from workplace after employees reportedly demanded "internal reckoning" over list of funny names that they, themselves, had helped create. Their invocation of "genocide," one exec said, made rational discussion impossible. About one-third of employees at software company Basecamp quit days after bosses told them to keep ideology out of the workplace and focus on the company’s actual business. “We make project management, team communication, and email software,” CEO Jason Fried wrote April 26. We don’t have to solve deep social problems, chime in publicly whenever the world requests our opinion on the major issues of the day,...

MADISON, Wis.—Christopher Baird owns a dairy farm near Ferryville in southwest Wisconsin, not far from the Mississippi River. He milks about 50 cows and farms approximately 80 acres of pasture. Like a lot of farmers, Baird has direct loans through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency. But the dairy farmer isn’t entitled to a new FSA loan-forgiveness program provided as part of COVID-19 relief in the $2 trillion American Rescue Plan Act, legislation touted Wednesday night by President Joe Biden in his address to Congress. Baird is white. He joined four other white farmers Thursday in suing federal...

WASHINGTON, Wednesday, May 1. A gentleman in the employ of the Government, for such purposes, went on Saturday into Maryland to obtain certain information and forward Government dispatches. Nothing was heard from him Monday morning, and it was thought advisable to dispatch another messenger to discover his fate. Accordingly the second messenger set out yesterday on a special engine to the Junction. The reporter of the TIMES was permitted to accompany him as far as the Junction. The messenger was then taken on some distance towards the Relay House. Here he procured a horse and rode on to Baltimore, where...

It was back in 2013 that the Supreme Court of Canada stated, astoundingly, that the Truth was not a defense against “hate crime” charges. Now this philosophy may be manifesting itself in Spain, where a populist political party daring to claim that migrants get more government money than retirees is being investigated for “incitement to hatred.” As Breitbart reports, “Spanish populist party VOX is being investigated over a campaign poster that compares monthly spending on migrant minors to monthly spending on Spanish pensioners.” “The poster [below], which was launched ahead of the May 4th elections in Madrid, claims ‘A [migrant...

President Biden’s Earth Day announcement that the United States is to cut its greenhouse gas emissions by 50% from 2005 levels (equivalent to a 42% cut of 2019’s pre-Covid emission levels) within nine years comes with a double deception – one of cause and the other of effect. It aims to force America to reach net-zero no later than 2050 to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius. This, the White House claims, is what “the science demands.” In fact, it is the first deception. The 1.5-degree limit has nothing to do with science and everything to do with politics...

Judge T. Scott Webb, of White County, Illinois, Found the requirement to obtain a (FOID) before owning a firearm in Illinois, to be unconstitutional. From the decision, Case 17-CM-60, 26 April 2021: “A citizen in the State of Illinois is not born with a Second Amendment right. Nor does that right insure when a citizen turns 18 or 21 years of age. It is a façade. They only gain that right if they pay a $10 fee, complete the proper application, and submit a photograph. If the right to bear arms and self-defense are truly core rights, there should be...

Former President George W. Bush said he believes the Republican Party will win in future elections if its members embrace traditional ideals and curb the "white Anglo-Saxon Protestantism." Asked about the state of the Republican Party, Bush told "The Dispatch Podcast" he believes there's potential to win in the upcoming midterm elections and the 2024 presidential election. "I think Republicans will have a second chance to govern because I believe that the Biden administration is a uniting factor, particularly on the fiscal side of things," he said. But the Republican Party will not win by representing ideals tied to white...
