YouTube TV has been removed from Roku's channel store, after Roku and YouTube TV parent Google failed to come to a distribution agreement amid accusations that the tech giant made anti-competitive demands. Why it matters: These spats happen regularly between Pay-TV providers and linear TV networks. But in the digital era, this is one of the rare times in which consumers will have a major streaming network removed from their platform's channel store due to a breakdown in negotiations. Details: The channel will still be available for existing YouTube TV customers, but new users that wish to download the app...

Last week, Apple announced its new AirTags — $29 location-tracking fobs that can help find your keys or purse anywhere in the world. The devices, which are roughly the diameter of a quarter, have since been tested and lauded by tech journalists, including our own.But technology often comes with unintended consequences, explain representatives from the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV), a leading nonprofit with the goal of ending violence against women. NNEDV sits on advisory boards for Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and Uber and has consulted for both Google and Apple in the past (but not on AirTags). The...

Georgia Secretary of State Executive Gabriel Sterling sounds very worried about the election audit taking place in Arizona. Sterling -- who claims to be a Republican but has become a darling of the lefty media -- slammed the Maricopa County audit that is analyzing around 2.1 million ballots from the largest county in Arizona. Sterling took to Twitter to call the audit "neither transparent nor likely, legal," and claimed it is an attempt to "undermine confidence in elections."

Less than one day after President Biden proclaimed American workers would build the electric vehicles necessary to bring us into the zero admissions future, General Motors said it plans to invest more than $1 billion in Mexico to produce electric vehicles. The automaker said Thursday it would make a $1 billion investment in its Ramos Arizpe production facility. The plant will begin producing at least one electric vehicle beginning in 2023, the company said.

President Joe Biden is launching a phantom crusade against so-called ghost guns. They don’t exist. It sounds like something from Star Wars, but never count Democrats out for inventing stuff out of thin air. Regardless, the Biden Administration is tasking the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives for tweaking the current federal statutes to curb gun rights for law-abiding Americans. That’s always the byproduct of any lefty anti-gun push. And now, The Reload has obtained a 100-page copy of the proposed rules the ATF is poised to enact. The Reload is the current outfit for Stephen Gutowski, who was...

The classics are classics for a reason and offer valuable, time-worn lessons about humanity itself. We were excited to see the sign at the Lansing Mall: Barnes and Noble Booksellers. My roommate and I, on our spring break excursions, were shopping in another city when we spotted the national bookselling chain. We envisioned a long hour of perusing the great books — from Cicero to Tolstoy, Shakespeare to Dickens, Plato to Faulkner. My roommate joked she never made it out of a bookstore without purchasing at least one volume. After walking through a maze of board games, Harry Potter paraphernalia, and $10...

In their latest leftist power-grab, Democratic lawmakers in the House of Representatives voted last week to admit Washington, D.C. as the 51st state in the union, tossing the measure to the Senate, where it faces an uphill battle. That’s because, as even some Democratic senators know, conferring statehood on the District of Columbia is a horrible idea — and not just because the founders wouldn’t approve.Washingtonians who have ever bothered to crack the Constitution (likely a minority of them) know D.C. statehood is unconstitutional. Article I of the Constitution grants the federal government the power of “exclusive legislation, in all...

Dear Chuck,I read your new book on economic threats. What do you think of China’s new digital currency? Isn’t it a threat that should be on your list of Gray Swans? Economic ObserverDear Economic Observer, I wrote a book about Seven Gray Swans—trends that threaten our financial future which are low probability occurrences that we tend to ignore. As I mentioned in the book, my list is not exhaustive. Thank you for reading the book; unfortunately, many of the events I described are rapidly developing. While I did not mention a specific threat of China, I did reference their social...

A statement issued by the Turkish Ministry of Defense regarding the ownership of the Incirlik base and all the weapons systems at its disposal! The announcement came as a blow because US Pentagon officials themselves did not expect any Turkish moves or statements involving the Incirlik base. And yet the announcement of the Turkish Ministry of Defense does not simply involve the Incirlik base but refers to the Turkey-US Defense Treaty that was first revealed by WarNews247 a few days ago. The Turkish media clearly state that this is Ankara’s response to the recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

Donovan Barnes, a first year student at Georgetown University, recently published a “viewpoint” article in the school’s student newspaper titled “Develop Gender-Neutral Language in Arabic.” Barnes’ March 25 op-ed in The Hoya expresses the opinion that “to aid the fight for gender inclusivity in the Arabic language, Georgetown students and instructors have the responsibility to work toward language that includes all gender identities, not just identities within the cisnormative male and female binary.” The student explained that he is studying Arabic at Georgetown and had “valid concerns” coming into the program because he is learning a language that is “radically...

“The early church was a socialist church.” So said the Rev. Raphael Warnock in 2016, four years before the citizens of Georgia elected him as a U.S. senator. It’s a strange statement, least of all because the description “socialist church” is an oxymoron. Not only would the Church fathers be puzzled by it, but so would socialism’s fathers. “Everyone must be absolutely free to … be an atheist,” wrote Vladimir Lenin, “which every socialist is, as a rule.” “Religion and communism are incompatible, both theoretically and practically,” noted Nikolai Bukharin, founding editor of Pravda. “Communism is incompatible with religious faith.”...

I have seen posters saying the election audit in Arizona should be televised. It is! there are 9 public cameras that you can access to view the audit in real time. Anybody in the world can view it for free. You can see it for free. The people in the audit are wearing different colored shirts which identifies their job. Yellow = Mail in votes Blue = Votes cast on election day Green = (I think) Regular absentee, early voting. Black = Supervisors Orange = demondog observers. It is worth a few minutes look. https://auditwatch.win/

The student body president of Virginia Commonwealth University has posted on social media that she hates white people and advocates for cop killing, according to screenshots of the comments published by the Post Millennial. Taylor Marie Maloney, 20, “was championed earlier this month by the ACLU of Virginia for being the ‘first openly transgender and non-binary person’ elected to the position. But social media posts written by the communist activist have since surfaced showing their advocacy for killing cops, rioting, looting, vandalism and hatred of white people,” the Post Millennial reports.

Stanford University student Gabrielle Crooks, a member of its student government, expressed her hatred for white people in a series of tweets this past summer. “Yes I think white people need to be eradicated yes I will go feral over mediocre white men we exist,” she wrote in July 2020. Despite advocating for genocide, her student senate page biography states that she aspires to be a “human rights attorney” and “address racial violence.” She is also a Black Recruitment and Orientation Committee coordinator at Stanford.

United States bishops are considering formalizing their opposition to pro-abortion Catholic politicians receiving communion as they continue to speak out against President Joe Biden, a Catholic, over his support for abortion. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, scheduled to hold a national meeting in June, is considering approving a draft document that would advise Catholic politicians who support abortion not to receive communion. The consideration of the document comes as Biden continues to advocate for liberal abortion policies that directly conflict with the teachings of his faith, specifically, that all human life is sacred from natural conception until natural death....
