A gun control bill introduced by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee seeks to create a national firearm registry and make it illegal to possess a firearm without a license. The minimum age for licensing would be 21, while possession of a “military-style weapon” – defined by Fox News as including “a broad range of semiautomatic rifles and handguns as well as some shotguns” – would be criminalized without it. ... Lee’s (D-TX) legislation would also require psychological evaluations, purchase of insurance, completion of a government-run training course, and ban ammunition of .50 caliber or greater except for use by law enforcement....

Wintertime wind and solar energy “between 0 and 2 or 3 percent – that is de facto zero,” says German power distribution professor. Berlin’s power supply severely strained Germany now finds itself in the dead of winter. Much of the country has seen considerable snowfall, meaning solar panels are often covered by snow and thus rendered useless. Even without snow cover, the weeks-long overcast sky prevents any noteworthy solar power generation. Moreover, this winter there have been many long windless periods, and so Germany’s approx. 30,000 wind turbines have been largely out of operation. In a world 100% reliant on...

Hippos imported illegally into Colombia for Pablo Escobar’s private zoo have gone feral in the lush tropical countryside and must be culled before their invasive presence starts to wipe out indigenous flora and fauna, scientists have warned. One of the notorious drug lord’s great extravagances saw him amass a collection of hippos, kangaroos, giraffes, elephants and other exotic animals in his hacienda fortress from where he established the world’s biggest cocaine empire in the 1980s.When he was hunted down and killed by police in 1993 many of the animals were rounded up or died. But the hippos were abandoned on the sprawling...

U.S. Customs And Border Protection officers at Washington Dulles International Airport seized 36 counterfeit guitars recently that if authentic, would have had a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $158,692. Even Jimmy Page's Gibson double neck made the collection, as did an axe purportedly autographed...

Here we are, Wednesday. You may remember the call earlier to celebrate Chicken Day the same as we celebrate Caturday and Dogerday – although to be honest every day looks like Caterday and Dogerday around here. Anyway, some people suggested Wednesday would be good for chickens while others insisted it would have to be Thursday as Hump Day already belongs to camels. Well, let’s not be so hasty. First of all Thursday already has a job - Throwbacks. So this is my Solomon decision: I hereby declare Wednesday to be Cluck’n-Hump day. So let’s all do our bit to live...

Facts are starting to seep out about Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick’s death. There has been an intense push by the Media, the Left, and most of the ruling class to cement into the public’s mind the narrative he was murdered by Trump supporters. The cause of death is unknown. There is no evidence officer Sicknick was struck by a fire extinguisher. There does not appear to be any evidence he suffered from blunt force trauma. All that is actually known is he died after going back to the office, from what appears to be a stroke resulting from a blood...

Former President Donald Trump was apparently not pleased with how his Senate impeachment trial defense team performed on Tuesday. A new explosive report from Fox News reveals that Trump was “furious” and “beyond angry” with his defense team’s strategy on the first day of the trial. “Two sources in fact, who spent time with the former president today described him as being quote, ‘furious and beyond angry’ with his impeachment defense team,” Fox News correspondent Kevin Corke reported. “He was especially upset with attorney Bruce Castro, as you pointed out for his quotes, rambling opening argument. The former president spending...

At least 15 people have died and more than 50 others hospitalized in Tanzania from a terrifying mystery illness that causes patients to vomit blood, according to reports. Some of the patients, mostly male, died within hours of developing symptoms in the southern Mbeya region of the country, the Sun reported. Felista Kisandu, the local chief medical officer, said a team of experts have been dispatched to assess the patients and investigate the cause of their illness. “This problem has not been widespread,” Kisandu said. “It has happened in just a single administrative ward of Ifumbo where people vomit blood...

“All that was required of them was a primitive patriotism which could be appealed to whenever it was necessary to make them accept longer working hours or shorter rations. And even when they became discontented, as they sometimes did, their discontent led nowhere, because, being without general ideas, they could only focus it on petty specific grievances. The larger evils invariably escaped their notice.”—George Orwell, 1984 Let’s be clear about one thing: the impeachment of Donald Trump is a waste of time and money. Impeaching Trump will accomplish very little, and it will not in any way improve the plight...

Dr. Anthony Fauci suggested that Americans will need to keep wearing face masks until COVID-19 “is not a threat at all” during a Monday afternoon appearance on Fox News’ “Special Report.” “Is there going to be a time when we are going to be, no masks?” anchor Bret Baier asked during the interview. “When is that time? If you had to guess, going to a sports game, going to a theater, going to a concert without a mask?”

The Little Menace To Society moves the goal posts one more time. – Anthony Fauci was in the news again on Tuesday, performing his duty as the chief propagandist for the COVID-based fascist/socialist takeover of the United States. In an appearance with Bret Baier on Fox News’ “Special Report,” Fauci moved the goal posts down the field again related to how long Americans must keep wearing their masks in public once again. The new goal? When the viral gift from China “is not a threat at all.”

If you’re going to shoot at the king, you better make sure you kill him. – The RINO wing of the Republican Party was gleeful just a month ago with the thought that the impeachment scam in which they were coordinating with the Democrats would do away with Donald Trump’s political career once and for all. Mitch McConnell was only too happy to voice his support for this most recent chapter in the DC Swamp’s never-ending coup against the former President, and 11 RINOs in the House volunteered to have their names forever stamped onto the sham as a seal...

>“Tons of aid”? Please read this before you repeat that statement: Myth: Israel Is the Largest Beneficiary of US Military Aid The aid that Israel does receive has strings attached to it that no other recipient has, such as the requirement that a minimum of 75% of the aid must be spent on US-made equipment. The remaining 25% may be used on non-US-made equipment only with US government approval. (This will increase until the figure is 100% by the end of the period of the current MOU.) US-made equipment that has become obsolete or obsolescent and is to be replaced...

Aunt Jemima is making her last batch of pancakes. Quaker Oats said Tuesday that its Aunt Jemima brand pancake mix and syrup will be renamed Pearl Milling Company. Aunt Jemima products will continue to be sold until June, when the packaging will officially change over. Quaker Oats, a division of PepsiCo Inc., had announced last June that it would retire the Aunt Jemima brand, saying the character’s origins are “based on a racial stereotype.” A former slave, Nancy Green, became the first face of the pancake products in 1890. Quaker Oats bought the Aunt Jemima brand in 1925 and had...

The Democrats’ political drama, which is playing out in the Senate, is useful for distinguishing the good guys from the bad guys (and Trump isn’t the bad guy). I didn’t watch the impeachment proceedings because I was away from my office. Even if I’d been in my office, I wouldn’t have watched. What’s happening in the Senate has nothing to do with anything Trump did. Instead, it reflects the Deep State’s desire to erase Trump from American history as surely as the Egyptians once erased Hatshepsut, a powerful female pharaoh who ruled 3,500 years ago and whose successor tried to...
