Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is one of many politicians who have adopted a mindset that says we should only care about victims of violence if we believe they are useful for our political narrative.New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is once again at the center of online debates, as left and right battle over an Instagram livestream where she described her experience during the latest riot at the U.S. Capitol by telling her audience, “I thought I was going to die.”There can be no doubt that the riot at the Capitol was a terrible event. More than 100 police officers...

The mainstream media has been hyper-focused on previously little-known House Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene after old videos surfaced of her allegedly promoting conspiracy theories. Few, however, have spent equal time and energy on her statement yesterday denouncing those past views and her 20 minute speech earlier today explaining more about who she is and why she is passionate about being an elected official. At the end of her speech, which covered a variety of topics, she warned Christians not to be lukewarm and to share the Gospel “with everyone.” You can see that full speech [At Link]:

Accountants along Colorado’s Front Range are telling CBS4 that dozens of clients who paid their 2019 taxes are nonetheless getting menacing letters from the IRS. Those letters are threatening late fees, penalties and in some cases, property seizure. “Well they’re frightened,” said Denver CPA William Fraser, “They don’t understand why the government, the IRS, would be chasing after them when they’ve paid their taxes.” Fraser said he has about 30 clients who paid their 2019 taxes but are still getting the intimidating letters from the feds. He says his clients are “frightened, angry, stressed, worried because the letters say they’re...

“Black Studies” professor Kehinde Andrews of Birmingham City University has denounced the Enlightenment as “little more than White identity politics” and “racist knowledge”.Andrews, who is Britain’s inaugural professor of “black studies”, made the comments on social media while sharing a link to an interview with the Times Higher Education Supplement discussing his upcoming book, The New Age of Empire: How Racism and Colonialism Still Rule the World.“The enlightenment was little more than White identity politics, yet its racist knowledge still underpins university education,” alleged Andrews, who has previously made waves by claiming that “the British Empire did far more harm...

The FBI is now a frightening entity that will harass and frame any American. If the FBI did its job it would have been all over the truckloads of suspicious activity uncovered in the 2020 election. Instead the FBI harassed the whistleblowers.Colonel Phil Waldron (at the 19:45 mark in the video below):I believe from what I’ve seen and the witnesses that I talked to, that this is a coup that definitely involved elements inside our own country, inside our own federal government – definitely part of a coup that was aided and abetted by a foreign threat nation state, a...

Some of the headlines in just the past few days indicate that the world has gone mad since Joe Biden* took office. So many executive orders, so many policy changes, so many calls for unity followed by demands against conservatives and Christians. It is almost like a hurricane of crazy. Those addicted to the next one-up on conspiracy theory fantasy can give up their delusions because the facts of what is going on right now politically are at least as outrageous as QAnon hope pornography. People, there is a crisis before our very eyes. One that is not made up...

Hi Freeps! I need your help! Over ten years ago, I asked for some good locations in Washington State to live and you all came through and helped my family find a good place to live! Now I'm here asking you all again. My husband and I are needing to either move to South Carolina or Texas. We just need to find a good location, not too close to any city, more rural area with good schools and hopefully more conservatives. In Texas, we would like to live near either Dallas -Fort Worth, Amarillo, Lubbock or Midland. We just want...

Must be nice to be a Democrat. You can shovel cash to family members, and no one investigates. According to federal filings, Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) campaign paid her husband’s consulting firm $2.9 million during the 2020 election cycle. That’s 78% of the firm’s intake. The Washington Free Beacon reported: Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D., Minn.) campaign payments to her husband’s firm accounted for nearly 80 percent of its cash haul during the 2020 elections, federal filings show. The E Street Group, a D.C. consulting firm owned by Tim Mynett, Omar’s husband, and his partner Will Hailer, received $3.7 million from...

I find Free Republic to be in a class by itself among conservative new aggregators, offering (without ads) a multitude of various articles throughout each day on the articles page in which FR provides up to a 100 word excerpt of what the poster posted. (And I myself choose to see 250 articles per page https://freerepublic.com/perl/settings page.) These excerpts provide the reader with an idea of of what the link is about and whether it is worth opening the link (like in a new tab) whereby the user can read the rest of excerpt, and which then enables one to...

WASHINGTON — President Biden said on Friday that he would bar his predecessor, Donald J. Trump, from receiving intelligence briefings traditionally given to former presidents, saying that Mr. Trump could not be trusted because of his “erratic behavior” even before the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. The move was the first time that a former president had been cut out of the briefings, which are provided partly as a courtesy and partly for the moments when a sitting president reaches out for advice. Currently, the briefings are offered on a regular basis to Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W....

What do we do about the Trumpites around us? Like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who spoke eloquently this week about her terrifying experience during the insurrection at the Capitol on Jan. 6, Americans are expected to forgive and forget before we’ve even stitched up our wounds. Or gotten our vaccines against the pandemic that former President Trump utterly failed to mitigate. My neighbors supported a man who showed near-murderous contempt for the majority of Americans. They kept him in business with their support. But the plowing. On Jan. 6, after the insurrection, Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) issued an aw-shucks plea...

Biden’s full-tilt transgender pandering dwarfs even the Obama yearsThe LGBT dogma lives loudly in Joe BideFebruary 6, 2021 (Family Research Council) — Joe Biden insisted that his administration would "look like America." If that's true, most Americans are ready for an extreme makeover. A week and a half in, the majority would agree: nothing this White House has done comes even close to resembling their values. Instead, it's been a parade of far-Left extremism that's snuffed out any hope that this president's "whole soul" is actually in "bringing America together." What it's in, as far as the Washington Post can...

Canada absolutely has to retaliate for the outrageous and cavalier cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline. The millions of Canadians who celebrated former U.S. president Donald Trump’s departure from the White House may start to wonder if the new era is quite as paradisiacal as they had expected. President Joe Biden promised to ”rebuild our alliances,” yet with no notice given to America’s closest, oldest and least abrasive ally, with whose leader he is personally friendly, he revoked the existing arrangements and withdrew the permit to construct the pipeline, throwing 11,000 of his countrymen, and possibly as many as 40,000...

Vast swaths of Americans, as you well know, are now classified as racists, thanks to the Democrats' penchant for word salads. We are informed that if you supported Trump in any capacity, you are automatically a white supremacist. This blanket branding worked fine when the fake news showed carefully excised pockets of white people at rallies. However, an inconvenient truth of the MAGA movement is that it has an infuriating number of non-white enthusiasts. At first Democrats ignored them; and when that became impossible – when it became clear there was an enormous surge of minority support for MAGA –...

“Science will always be at the forefront of my administration,” President Biden tweeted in December, one of many such statements promising that he’d put science first. It turns out that his promise came with a huge asterisk attached. That is, Biden is willing to trust the science so long as it doesn't offend the teachers unions. This week, a bewildering sequence of events took place in the White House that likely would have led to a media firestorm had it occurred under Biden’s predecessor. On Wednesday, Biden’s chosen Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky stated an obvious...

Late last night the Supreme Court issued an injunction stopping California’s ban on indoor worship in churches, synagogues, and other houses of worship, that it claimed were dangerous because of the coronavirus. The Court ruled in two cases, South Bay United Pentecostal Church v. Newsom and Harvest Rock Church v. Newsom. Both churches sued California Governor Gavin Newsom, challenging the state’s total ban on indoor worship services—the most extreme in the nation—which targeted churches for closure while allowing non-essential retail stores such as Macy’s to open to hundreds of customers, as well as hair salons, nail salons, and Hollywood soundstages....
