WASHINGTON — President Biden said on Friday that he would bar his predecessor, Donald J. Trump, from receiving intelligence briefings traditionally given to former presidents, saying that Mr. Trump could not be trusted because of his “erratic behavior” even before the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.
The move was the first time that a former president had been cut out of the briefings, which are provided partly as a courtesy and partly for the moments when a sitting president reaches out for advice. Currently, the briefings are offered on a regular basis to Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

I doubt there is much intelligence coming from this administration.
How many other, previous presidents, still do?
This is so very wrong.
Oh, so if you are an agent of China then it’s okay to get intelligence briefings?
Further evidence that the Biden junta is 100% lowlife trash.
Currently, the briefings are offered on a regular basis to Jimmy Carter
One can only ask why is he still receiving briefings after
40 years??
Who else gets to hear these briefings, his nurses?
Or is it just security personnel reading to a husk
in a hospital bed.
Best point made today. LOL.
I really didn’t know until this “controversy” that former presidents receive briefings for the rest of their lives.
I don’t really see the need for it.
The ONLY President who should be getting the briefings is Trump. The other ones should have been cut off years ago, especially Obama.
So only Dems and Dem-lites get briefings? Figures.
It’s hard to say if Biden DID bar Trump or only that he said he would (as Trump said he should against Obama but never did)
Just another way to humiliate President Trump and advance the narrative that he, and we, are insane and a threat.
President Trump didn't speak to Nazi Pelosi after her tantrum in the White House. (Was that the fall of 2019?) The propaganda media keeps that story quiet because it clearly shows President Trump needed nothing from her and that she had nothing to offer anyway.
Biden calling out "erratic behavior".....hahahahahahah!
Well, since the intelligence briefings didn’t do anything to stop a CF in DC, I don’t see that they are worth the time and effort. I had more intelligence just looking at the non-security on Capitol Hill at noon on Jan. 6. I don’t know what these 17 intelligence agencies do except plot to keep themselves and their friends in power and making money.

Damn straight! Biden is a petty, vindictive SOB.
Erratic behavior? Biden fondles little girls, sniffs women’s hair, paraded nude in front of female Secret Service agents when he was VP, etc. and Donald Trump is the erratic one? That’s rich.
Trump/Hawley 2024!
I don't see Biden calling up Trump to ask for his advice so nothing is lost by denying the briefings.
More relevant than whether or not specific people (or current or former Presidents) are getting briefings, is the content of said briefing, and who is giving it.
I’ll postulate that President Trump is getting, and still getting, briefings from either or both of parts of the NSA and the DOD.
FWIW, I’ll postulate that anything given to Bitem/Bidan (sic), 0bama, or other members of the cabal is coming from the FIB, CIA, the other parts not included above of the NSA.
If I was personally wanted real and actionable intelligence, I’d be wanting to source it from the former, Trump sources.
I question why any former president should be getting the briefings. If intelligence information is on a need-to-know basis then why do former presidents need to know?
I don’t really see the need for it.
Well without it, former presidents cannot extend security clearances to their former underlings which not only keeps the swamp filled, but also allows them to dispatch at least one former national security adviser to the National Archives to destroy incriminating evidence—and who knows how many others have done similar, just less clumsily.
