Moscow, December 22, Interfax - The Russian Orthodox Church has strongly spoken out about the proposal by United States President-elect Joe Biden to allow gender change for children from the age of eight. "In regard to Biden's decision about an eight-year-old child being entitled to change sex, I perceive such statements as being blasphemous. I think that people propagating such ideas should be locked up in prison because, from my standpoint, it is a crime to maim an eight-year-old child or an even a sixteen-year-old," the Synodal Department for External Church Relations' head Metropolitan Hilarion told the Church and the...

White House Coronavirus Task coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx admitted Sunday that she broke her own COVID-related travel guidance on Thanksgiving, gathering with three generations of family from two households. Birx elaborated Tuesday during an interview with Newsy on the toll pandemic precautions, like the ones she doles out to Americans, have affected her family. The task force leader said her parents had become depressed and “stopped eating” over the isolation — isolation Birx has recommended time and time again. “My parents stopped...

The Toronto Star published an excellent article on December 21, 2020 by Lisa Bendall, a disability leader and former editor of Abilities Magazine. Bendall’s article concerns Bill C-7, the bill to expand euthanasia in Canada, and its effect on people with disabilities. Bill C-7 is currently being debated by Canada’s Senate. Bendall explains: Senators are currently deliberating Bill C-7, which would allow assisted suicide for people who aren’t near death. Not all people, mind you; just people who happen to have disabilities. While many of us fear that this bill might steer vulnerable people toward an untimely death, others argue...

The pandemic has shown how much America has changed for the worse. Our American ancestors were incredibly courageous people but today, we live in fear—of illness, of our fellow neighbors, of intellectual diversity, of alternative ideas, of climate change, of dying from COVID. The world never stopped before because of a virus. How did Americans become conditioned to be so fearful? Dennis's column: When 2-Year-Olds Are Thrown Off Airplanes, You Know America Has Changed
