Billionaire Michael Bloomberg is planning to spend around $15 million on television advertising in Texas and Ohio during the final week of the presidential campaign to help Democratic candidate Joe Biden defeat President Donald Trump, a Bloomberg spokesperson said on Tuesday. Statewide ads in Texas and Ohio will run from Wednesday through Election Day next Tuesday. Bloomberg, the former New York City mayor who lost to Biden in a crowded field for the Democratic nomination, previously vowed to spend up to $100 million of his personal fortune to support Biden in Florida though his super PAC, Independence USA, and other...

House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called on Congress to “reverse the damage” done by a “radical Republican court” after Senate Republicans voted to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court Monday evening. She also called the seat “usurped,” suggesting that the seat was taken illegally or by force, and claimed that Republicans were trying to “destroy” Americans’ health care with Barrett’s confirmation.

PARIS - France warned its citizens living or travelling in several Muslim-majority countries to take extra security precautions on Tuesday as anger surged over cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad. In a sign that some countries want to limit the fallout, Saudi Arabia condemned the cartoons but held back from echoing calls by other Muslim states for a boycott of French products or other actions. The row has its roots in a knife attack outside a French school on Oct. 16 in which a man of Chechen origin beheaded Samuel Paty, a teacher who had shown pupils cartoons of Prophet Mohammad...

CNN anchor Jake Tapper hammered the President for remarks he made about the black community, only to be rebutted by analyst Van Jones who said actually, Trump “doesn’t get enough credit” for the “good stuff he has done.” The exchange highlights a chasm between media reporting of Trump’s accomplishments for the black community and what people are actually feeling in those communities about his efforts. Tapper began by taking exception to comments made during the last presidential debate in which Trump said he’s “done more” for the Black community than any president with the “possible exception of Abraham Lincoln.” The...

Two years ago, Grace McKenzie thought team sports were no longer an option for her. As a transgender woman, McKenzie said she didn’t think she’d be allowed to play after transitioning and was “pretty sad” because she has been a lifelong athlete. McKenzie, 26, said she was surprised when a player invited her to a practice with the Golden Gate Women’s Rugby Club in San Francisco. She went and has “never looked back,” because “the entire team was extremely welcoming and inclusive.” Now her sport is has become less welcoming to elite players. On Oct. 9, World Rugby, the sport's...

Be convinced with these 4 biblical truths: 1. Each of us has sinned; 2. God is just, requiring a punishment for sin; 3. But out of love God sent His Son, Jesus Christ who by dying on the cross, provided forgiveness of sins in taking man’s deserved punishment; 4. Therefore, by faith alone in Christ’s sacrifice for our sins and belief in His resurrection, man can gain eternal life. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10, Romans 3:21-26) Read more at https://teleiosresearch.com/salvation-explanation/.

As predicted, Republicans gained yesterday in early voting, netting 14,000 votes vis-a-vis Democrats, and cutting 1.5 points off of the Dem lead. Democrats now hold an early voting lead of 315K votes. Next, as predicted, BLACK TURNOUT FELL significantly, from 20.58% of all EV to 20.31%. Dems--1,356,450 (39.76%) (+75K votes) Reps--1,041,160 (30.52%) (+89K votes) Black turnout: 20.31% Translation: Democrats are toast in NC. My gut said Trump would win NC weeks ago, but I needed more concrete data. The Democrats need the black vote to be above 22.5% (Obama won NC in 2008 by the skin of his teeth with...

President Donald Trump is preparing major changes to his administration for his second term, according to new reports. Topping the list for having his bags packed if Trump wins next week's election is FBI Director Christopher Wray, according to reports from both Fox News and Axios. Defense Secretary Mark Esper is also expected to be replaced, Axios reported. Attorney General William Barr is reportedly in presidential disfavor, but a source said Trump has not made plans to replace him.

Joe Biden claims that President Trump’s response to Covid-19 has been a failure and that he would have done better, saving countless lives. The polls suggest that many Americans agree with that assessment. However, Biden’s actual track record shows that the opposite is true. When a pandemic arrived, he failed repeatedly. In April 2009, the H1N1 virus (aka Swine flu) came to America from China. The following year, it infected roughly 20%, or 1/5, of the entire U.S. population. Although it was a new, unknown disease, there were no shutdowns, no mask mandates, and minimal noticeable disruption to daily life....

This is the second in a multi-part view regarding my unapologetic contempt for the pernicious heterodoxy prostituted as Critical Race Theory (CRT). As I stated in Part One of this unmasking of the satanic lie of CRT, not only am I a born-again Christian; I am also an ordained minister, i.e., reverend. As such any acceptance and/or attempt to inject even a modicum of truth to a lie of Satan is blasphemous, which is why I'm not hesitant to reserve my harshest condemnation for those churches and ministers who preach, support and/or recognize that which God condemns.

After smooth confirmation hearings, Judge Amy Coney Barrett looks poised to break the ivy ceiling at the Supreme Court of the United States. All other eight justices on the court have Ivy League law school degrees on their walls, but Barrett's is from Notre Dame, the current capital of conservative Catholic academia, where she also served as a professor before being tapped for the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals by President Donald Trump. The White House touted Barrett's Notre Dame pedigree in appointing her, but it also bragged about her undergraduate alma mater, Rhodes College, with a verbal faux pas...

A far left group is vowing to “make sure Trump leaves” the White House after the election, even if he wins, with radicals preparing to storm and occupy DC. The Shut Down DC group says it will “be in the streets before the polls even close,” asserting that “Trump will not leave office without mass mobilization and direct action.” “On Election Day, when you’re done voting, doing election protection, or getting out the vote, come join us at Black Lives Matter Plaza,” states the group’s manifesto. “We’re inviting everybody who agrees with these organizing principles to work together to make...

[Note: This piece uses heavy video content.] In Rasmussen, President Donald Trump (I still never tire of typing those three glorious words) has now assumed the national lead for the first time, coming in at 48% to Biden’s 47%. You may remember that Trump also led in the final Rasmussen survey in 2016, but ended up losing the popular vote thanks to the Fainting Felon’s enormous margin in a single state, California. Well, that, along with millions of illegal votes counted in her column. We should be prepared for a similar result in the popular vote this time thanks in...

October 27 2020 Tuesday of the Thirtieth Week in Ordinary Time Thirtieth Tuesday in Ordinary Time Lectionary: 480 Reading 1 EPH 5:21-33 Brothers and sisters: Be subordinate to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives should be subordinate to their husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is head of his wife just as Christ is head of the Church, he himself the savior of the Body. As the Church is subordinate to Christ, so wives should be subordinate to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the Church and handed himself over...

As far as HuffPost and the rest of the American left are concerned, no non-left-wing idea should be allowed to enter an American school. Not even for five minutes. This past month, Maumee High School, a high school near Toledo, Ohio, offered its students a way to receive some extracurricular credit. In the words of the Maumee City Schools administration office -- released before the HuffPost-induced uproar: "Students were offered an extra credit assignment intended to challenge their critical thinking skills ... A second option in the extra credit assignment asked students to view a video from a conservative website,...
