....In conventional campaigns, debates are challengers’ opportunities to elevate themselves to the level of their incumbent opponent. In this most unconventional of campaigns, it presents Biden more risk than opportunity. Biden has not wanted this focus; through his “virtual campaign,” he has worked hard to avoid it at all costs. Nor has Biden needed it; he has held a consistent lead and used a long political résumé to supplant current scrutiny. However now, whether wanted or needed, he will have it. The question is: Which Biden will get this scrutiny?... In 2012, this Biden took quick command of his Vice...

The @FCC must test Biden’s hearing aide before the debate, and after any break where he’s out of sight of Trump staff or cameras.

Just a few short months ago, if you drove down Baptist Road in this middle-class southern suburb of Pittsburgh, it would have been hard to miss the Bernie Sanders shrine filling the yard of a tidy, yellow-brick ranch home in the neighborhood. There was the life-size cutout of the former presidential candidate, a large "FEEL THE BERN" homemade sign along the berm of the road, a few "Bernie 2020" and "Get Berned" signs, as well as a lively decorated mailbox plastered with Bernie bumper stickers. Sometime between the Pennsylvania primary in June (when Democratic voters gave Joe Biden their support)...

"You're Hired!" is Casey Mulligan's memoir of a year spent as Chief Economist of the Council of Economic Advisers. The book is pitched as an analysis of President Trump, "riveting first-hand accounts of President Trump’s engagement with policy and politics." I read it in part for that reason. Opinions on the current occupant generally reflect either kool-aid drinking, never-Trump disdain, or foaming-at-the-mouth derangement. Casey, one of the few remaining true-blue Chicago School economists, and an outstanding one who combines analysis and policy, is none of the above. I know him as a clear thinker and a straight talker. With an...

I’ve been debating all day about what, if anything, to write about this morning’s news from Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo that her sources – who have been pretty reliable – are now telling her that Attorney General William Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham have now decided that we are too close to the election for any indictments or reports to be issued prior to Election Day. Which of course is exactly what I told you to expect to be the case on Friday. Using this excuse to hold up the execution of justice is itself a political decision...

I crossed the Mason-Dixon line today, driving north on Route 30 from the Baltimore area into Pennsylvania. I drove through farmland, side streets, developments, etc. Not unexpectedly, there were a healthy smattering of Trump signs/flags, but not as many as you would expect in this rural, pro-Trump area. What was striking, however, were the number of American flags that were out in front of houses. A couple of suburban developments south of Hanover had probably one American flag for every 5 houses, and there was probably a Trump sign/flag one to every 12 houses. Weirdly, I saw zero Trump bumper...

Protesters gathered outside the RTE studios in Donnybrook on Friday to tell Late Late Show guest Dr Anthony Fauci to ‘go home’. The American immunologist has served as Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984, and appeared on Friday’s episode of the Late Late Show via Zoom to speak to Ryan Tubridy about the progress of the COVID-19 pandemic. Posts encouraging people to protest Dr Fauci’s appearance on the Late Late Show circulated on social media earlier this week, announcing that a ‘rally for truth’ would be held from 5pm on September 25 outside ‘the...

More than 1,500 people participated in a pro-Trump motorcade that drove through the city of Des Moines on Saturday. About 500 vehicles started in the suburbs south of downtown, Des Moines before heading downtown and ending at the State Capitol. Images of the event showed supporters of President Donald Trump waving American flags while others held Trump 2020 flags.

Joe Biden said last year that he kicked off his academic career at Delaware State University, a historically black university, but the institution has now denied that claim. Biden made the declaration before the South Carolina Democratic primary - which he won by a landslide - during an October 2019 town hall event at Wilson High School in Florence 'I got started out of an HBCU, Delaware State — now, I don’t want to hear anything negative about Delaware State. They’re my folks,' Biden told the crowd. But a spokesperson for Delaware State University has now denied that the Democratic...

You gotta’ give it to Democrats — when one of them says something, they ALL say it. Like lemmings off a cliff. So on Sunday, everyone from Joe Biden to Kamala Harris to Chuck Schumer to Nancy Pelosi claimed that President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, is bent on ripping apart the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare.

On this holiest of Jewish religious observances, Melania and I send our warmest greetings to our Jewish brothers and sisters in America and around the world for a blessed Yom Kippur. Yom Kippur signals the end of the High Holy Days—a 10-day period of repentance filled with prayer, fasting, and fellowship, which concludes with the Day of Atonement. As the shofar bellows throughout communities this Yom Kippur, we are reminded of how important our faith has been over these past months as we continue to face the challenges posed by the coronavirus. Through the Almighty’s love and the power of...

Several people have asked for my opinion on Israel’s recent peace treaties with the UAE and Bahrain, so this is my effort to put it into writing. At the Sept. 15, 2020, signing ceremony, Israel’s Prime Min. Netanyahu said, “This peace will eventually expand to include other Arab states, and ultimately, it can end the Arab-Israel conflict once and for all.” These treaties have been called historic, a profound geopolitical shift, stunning, a fundamental reordering of the Middle East, etc. These treaties are not the 7-year covenant with many that will be confirmed by the Antichrist (Dan. 9:27) and triggers...

Uganda is very primitive...not yet up to 3rd World status. No masks, no social distancing, nothing to lock down. They have a terrible health risk. That is infestation of Mosquitos that carry and spread Malaria. Due to this, the world has helped by contributing Hydroxy-Chloroquine, Zinc and Azithromycin. Coincidence? The CDC has prohibited the use of this treatment...How is that working out. Oh yeah, I keep forgetting...

.CNN’s Jake Tapper this weekend sat down with Jill Biden for a one-on-one interview. Jill Biden is now doing interviews and hitting the campaign trail to stump on her husband’s behalf while he hides in his basement. The story surrounding the death of Louisville hospital technician Breonna Taylor has taken on a life of it's own. The details, facts and rumors continue to blend into news cycles which pump energy into an already fragile country bordering on civil unrest. Many of the most common questions involve the LMPD's justification for arriving at Breonna Taylor's home. So what information was the Louisville Metropolitan Police Department basing their decisions? The below excerpts, taken from police files and taped jailhouse calls, provide a clearer picture into the investigatory reasons leading up to LMPD's arrival at 3003 Springfield Drive. For the...

President Trump on Sunday once again called on former Vice President Joe Biden to take a drug test as the two presidential candidates prepare for their first one-on-one face-off in Cleveland. “I will be strongly demanding a Drug Test of Sleepy Joe Biden prior to, or after, the Debate on Tuesday night. Naturally, I will agree to take one also,” the president said in a Twitter post. “His Debate performances have been record setting UNEVEN, to put it mildly. Only drugs could have caused this discrepancy???,” he said. The president has been pressing the Democratic presidential nominee for months about...
