Rural Pennsylvania turns more red, but is it enough for Trump?
Washington Examiner ^ | 09/27/2020 | Salena Zito

Just a few short months ago, if you drove down Baptist Road in this middle-class southern suburb of Pittsburgh, it would have been hard to miss the Bernie Sanders shrine filling the yard of a tidy, yellow-brick ranch home in the neighborhood. There was the life-size cutout of the former presidential candidate, a large "FEEL THE BERN" homemade sign along the berm of the road, a few "Bernie 2020" and "Get Berned" signs, as well as a lively decorated mailbox plastered with Bernie bumper stickers.

Sometime between the Pennsylvania primary in June (when Democratic voters gave Joe Biden their support) and last week, the shrine came down, replaced by one lone yard sign reading "GIANT METEOR 2020."

Trump and conservatives own the “T” in PA. The margin is greater today than in 2016. Trump will do fine here.

“While these switches in western Pennsylvania are more about both parties’ realignments, it is worth noting Trump did win the state on the backs of voters in counties such as Fayette, Westmoreland, and the 10 other counties that surround Pittsburgh in 2016.

The calculation Biden seems to be making is the same one Hillary Clinton made in 2016: Run up the numbers in Philadelphia and suburban collar counties, plus Allegheny County, and hope the rural vote remains unenthused.”

This is happening in all of the swing states. The urban areas, filled with Socialists have annoyed the heck out of the rest of the ‘normals’ that live in each state, outside of the urban hellholes...even if some have to work there.

The Socialist Democrats have put on a pretty good show these past almost-four years. People ARE paying attention and will vote accordingly, IMHO.

I’m expecting a huge victory for President Trump. HUGE! :)

You’re deluded if you don’t think Dem postal workers are scheming overtime to dispose of (or replace) rural GOP ballots coming back in for the count.

All these battleground states are going to be massive battles for Trump against election fraud.

We just got back home from a flag wave in Easton, PA. Great response from cars driving by. Call your County GOP Office & participate. I think these flag waves are important. People are happy when they see us.

The lame stream news media claimed several weeks ago that President Trump has the support of 27% of the blacks in Pennsylvania.

If this translates into actual votes, the president wins Pennsylvania by a good margin.

What happens with the mail in ballots AFTER the election remains to be seen.

#9: "[Biden team] hope the rural vote remains unenthused."

My G*D are they blind! From sea to shining sea, and all across the fruited plain, In rural areas I have never seen so much enthusiasm for President Trump. It was YUGE in 2016. And in 2020, President Trump's support in rural areas is through the roof.

In 2016 my voting precinct voted 92% for President Trump. In 2020, it could be 100%, if the county's lone losertarian stays home, LOL.

In Pennsylvania or overall, we all know the polls- even on a state by state level- are worse for Trump than they were in 2016. But we also know the polls are even more wrong than they were in 2016. It is just a question of what % they are truly off by.

Based on voter registration numbers, Trump is projected to win the state by about 200K votes.
