A tsunami of Democrats seeking ballots through the mail in this pandemic-plagued presidential election year is upending the very dynamics of voting in Ohio. The impact of this ground-shaking change shows up in two major ways: • The outcome of the presidential race in the bellwether Buckeye State appears even more unpredictable than usual. • Ohio could be among the states where election fraud is alleged simply because the leader in the presidential vote could shift dramatically on election night and possibly shift back a week-and-a-half later.

Anyone who watched the lines of people who paid their respects to Ruth Bader Ginsburg as she lay in state at the Supreme Court would have noticed a peculiar atmosphere. The reactions of those filing past her coffin went far beyond ordinary, quiet, and respectful homage to the dead. Women and little girls were kneeling down before her, offering prayerful salutes and shedding tears of grief and rage. Some were almost hysterical. Once again, it's clear that the left is deeply religious. Be it the elevation of Greta Thunberg to the status of St. Joan of Arc; the high reverence...

The presidential debates for the 2020 election kick off Tuesday in Cleveland, and many Americans are uncertain about what to expect. One thing is for sure: Fox News Sunday anchor and moderator Chris Wallace will not be tasked with fact-checking the candidates in real-time. "We don't expect Chris or our other moderators to be fact checkers," Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., co-chair, The Commission on Presidential Debates, told CNN's Chief Media Correspondent Brian Stelter on "Reliable Sources" Sunday. "The minute the TV is off there will be plenty of fact checkers." The topics for Tuesday's debate, selected by Wallace himself, include:...

Company after company declares their fidelity to Black Lives Matter, give money for bail for those looting and rioting. In repayment, Target, Macy’s, and the other stores get trashed and looted. Then like an abused spouse, says to the criminals, OK, do it to me again, I deserve it. American corporations prefer to pay off and act like wimps in the face of criminals, rather than stand up and protect themselves. The full list of 276 companies is out! As Medium reported you can use this list as a guide in what businesses you wish to support. Please also consider...

Because they've made a god of government, there's seemingly always another low to which liberals will stoop in order to help slow, sleepy Joe defeat Donald Trump in November. Many of these lows involve the numerous nefarious reactions to the Wuhan virus. Make no mistake about it: we have suffered an unprecedented loss of jobs and businesses, the shutdown of schools, entertainment, and hospitals; the mandating of masks and "social distancing"; and the like, not because of a global pandemic, but because of our foolish and unprecedented reaction to a global pandemic. In other words, much of what was "unprecedented"...

A Minneapolis man charged with arson of a St. Paul car rental agency that took place during the Twin Cities riots in late May has pleaded guilty in federal court. Matthew Scott White, 32, was charged in late June, about a month after a wave of riots spread across the Twin Cities following the death of George Floyd while in Minneapolis police custody on Memorial Day. United States Attorney Erica MacDonald on Friday announced the guilty plea by White on one count of arson. Alpha News previously reported that White had been charged following his arrest on June 29, 2020....

By the time Joe Biden takes the stage Tuesday night for his first debate with President Trump, he will have gone through dozens upon dozens of hours of preparation with a close group of advisers firing questions at him. One of the main advisers leading the drills is Ron Klain, his longtime confidant and former chief of staff who isn’t officially on the Biden campaign, but knows the former vice president almost better than anyone. “He knows Biden’s strengths and weaknesses to the letter,” said one longtime Biden aide. “No one can help Biden prepare for this moment better than...

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris, marking the first time he’s ever publicly thrown his weight behind a political candidate. With the exception of a brief flirtation with a 2020 presidential run himself, Johnson, 48, often takes great pains to remain apolitical at a time when Hollywood is seemingly filled to the brim with activism. However, the “Jumanji” actor took to Instagram, on Sunday, where he shared a video of a virtual conversation he had with the two Democratic candidates and officially gave them his public endorsement. “I’m going to be pushing...

7th Circuit stays district court injunction allowing Wisconsin ballots postmarked by Election Day to be counted if received up to 6 days later. No list or count of judges backing the order. No rationale given.

As usual, in part because of persistent judicial overreach and in part because the Democrats’ desire to keep getting in Court what they cannot win at the ballot box, the courts are the main focus of attention this week as they are in so many weeks. There’s a vacancy on the Supreme Court to be filled and the Michael Flynn dismissal motion is due for a hearing on the 29th before Judge Emmet Sullivan. In the first instance, I think the Democrats’ disgusting performance in the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation and the restrictions on the conduct of the hearing due to...

Carter and Keri speak with controversial figure Dr. Charles Murray. Dr. Murray holds the F. A. Hayek Emeritus Chair in Cultural Studies at the American Enterprise Institute. He first came to national attention with the publication of his book _Losing Ground_, which has been credited as the intellectual foundation for the Welfare Reform Act of 1996. In 1994, _The Bell Curve_, a New York Times bestseller he coauthored with the late Richard Herrnstein, sparked heated controversy for its analysis of the role of IQ in shaping America’s class structure. In 2012, in another New York Times bestseller, _Coming Apart_, Dr....

The Air Force's flight test center at the Nevada Test and Training Range continues to grow...the facility has grown dramatically since 2000, including the addition of a massive and mysterious hangar built at the base's southern end...an even larger extension to an existing hangar facility that is quite peculiar in nature points to the possibility that the age of large swarms of unmanned combat air vehicles (UCAVs) has finally arrived. For a year, construction has been underway in a section of the southern ramp area at the base, near where the original A-12 Oxcart hangars still stand. Four more modern...

Back in February of 2016, Amy Coney Barrett did an interview with CBS about filling Supreme Court vacancies. The interview was done shortly after Justice Antonin Scalia passed away and Democrats were pushing for Judge Merrick Garland to be confirmed. Democrats sliced the clip to make it sound as though Barrett was against filling a vacancy during a presidential election year: Here is Judge Amy Coney Barrett explaining why it’s wrong to fill a SCOTUS vacancy during a presidential election year. pic.twitter.com/a5H09OmgsX — Gavin Newsom (@GavinNewsom) September 26, 2020 Even the Washington Post concluded that what she was saying was...

A proposal would have employees at large companies working remotely three days a week, even after the pandemic, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. SAN FRANCISCO — Many office workers are doing their jobs from home because of the coronavirus pandemic, and the trend has given some authorities in California an idea: Make it mandatory. The Metropolitan Transportation Commission, a regional government agency in the San Francisco Bay Area, voted Wednesday to move forward with a proposal to require people at large, office-based companies to work from home three days a week as a way to slash greenhouse gas emissions from...

Every Man Is a Liar. I am a Man. Therefore I am a Liar. (You're Not? I'm Impressed.) How do I lie? I take some impulsive action that uncannily just happens always to gratify myself. Before I'm even done doing it, I start making up a story, as if I had pre-frontally, consciously planned the whole thing, according to my warped, personal "ethics". Either the situation forced me, or other people's unfairness to me made me have to do it, so that I was completely justified in doing what I wanted to anyway. It's because deep in my brain, I...

Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) said on Sunday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “AM Joy” that Democrats were willing to end the filibuster and add more justices to the Supreme Court if they take the Senate majority in November’s election. Host Tiffany Cross asked, “On November 10, that’s when the ACA will be heard before the court. Seven million will be impacted should they strike it down. Given the dire situation, we are in, the old playbook before 2016 is thrown out. So based on where we are today, where do you stand on if Joe Biden is successful in November and bests...

Donald Trump said Sunday he chose to nominate Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court because he wanted a constitutional textualist to fill the spot left vacant by Ruth Bader Ginsburg. 'Mostly, I'm looking for somebody that can interpret the Constitution as written,' Trump told 'Fox & Friends' co-host Pete Hegseth during an interview that aired early Sunday morning. 'We say it all the time and she is very strong on that,' the president continued of his pick. 'And it'll be very interesting.' He added that having Barrett on the Supreme Court would be 'really thrilling.' 'I hope it goes...
