Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) said on Sunday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “AM Joy” that Democrats were willing to end the filibuster and add more justices to the Supreme Court if they take the Senate majority in November’s election.
Host Tiffany Cross asked, “On November 10, that’s when the ACA will be heard before the court. Seven million will be impacted should they strike it down. Given the dire situation, we are in, the old playbook before 2016 is thrown out. So based on where we are today, where do you stand on if Joe Biden is successful in November and bests Donald Trump, what’s your position on expanding the court?”
Blumenthal said, “That’s a really good question. And all the more reason that we need to focus on these next days and weeks, trying to defeat this nominee. I’m going to be fighting like hell to defeat her using every possible tool. Limited as those tools are. We can’t force the Republicans to keep their word any more than we with force them to care about their constituents’ health care. Any eventual option after the election depends on winning the election. Without Joe Biden as president or a Democratic Senate, none of these options is achievable.”
Cross said, “Yeah, I hear you. I think because the base is so frustrated with the process, people are looking to if we win this is what we’ll do. So yes, would you support expanding the Supreme Court?”
Blumenthal said, “What I’m prepared to say is we must win this election for Joe Biden and for the Senate to make them both Democratic and then nothing is off the table.”

First time I ever heard that phrase used as a threat was when Saddam Hussein sent out a cryptic message over one of the Bath regime's shortwave radio stations during the run-up to operation Desert Storm in 1991. The message was "implement all plans that are on the table and all plans that are off the table."
It was broadcast without encryption, and was obviously supposed to be picked up by us and our coalition partners, and was obviously intended to intimidate. At that time, it was widely believed that Iraq had chem-bio and nuclear weapons on hand.
Of course none of the "off the table" plans led to anything. No terrorist attacks took place, unless you count the two attacks against the WTC, neither of which was ever directly linked to Saddam Iraq to the best of my knowledge.

I am sure that she couldn't stomach the thought of being replaced by a 3rd rate hack. And BTW Garland is a 3rd rate hack.
Senator Stolen Valor should just resign
If the Dems ever get enough power to “pack the court” they won’t need to do it.
Everything, everywhere keeps going the way the Dems want.
A Wall? Not with judges to stop it. Use the military budget for it’s national security element? No, a judge said recently.
Court going toward the Right? Nope. Will soon be five, ten or even twenty person total on SCOTUS with Dems on every square foot of the room.
Voting fraud? If it benefits Dems (it does) go right ahead. People getting two or more genuine absentee ballots? Ok. Demanding a one person one registered citizen vote with voter photo ID? “That’s raciss” and “voter suppression” trying to bring back Black Crow days. Just one honest vote?
Any good news for us quickly turns into bad news. Even Durham and justice for the Dems?——Maria Bartiromo show says wimping out until after the courage requirement by Durham before the election fades out and the coast is clear for cowards again. Then back to his cocktail parties and yacht trips with Deep State friends.

If one party packs the court can the other party unpack it? Can they force judges 10 through 13 to step down?
As long as people actually know that is their agenda, that is.
Blumenthal has been as malignant a force in American politics as anyone in the last 50 years, and that’s saying a lot. Profoundly lackin integrity, ruthless. It’s people like him that spawned the mass mental illness that has gripped the Democrat party.
Maybe nothing is off the table, but someone is off his rocker.

1.) Seven million people will be not be immediately impacted. 2.) Seven million people will be positively impacted with better insurance. 3.) Everyone with that requires health care (not insurance, that's health care) will be positively impacted. 4.) What a great way to celebrate winning an election.

So when Trump wins the election, he should say “great idea, “ and do it for them.
So I guess if Trump wins and the Republicans keep the Senate the Dimwit Party is still ok with packing the court and ending the filibuster.
