The presidential debates for the 2020 election kick off Tuesday in Cleveland, and many Americans are uncertain about what to expect. One thing is for sure: Fox News Sunday anchor and moderator Chris Wallace will not be tasked with fact-checking the candidates in real-time.
"We don't expect Chris or our other moderators to be fact checkers," Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., co-chair, The Commission on Presidential Debates, told CNN's Chief Media Correspondent Brian Stelter on "Reliable Sources" Sunday. "The minute the TV is off there will be plenty of fact checkers."
The topics for Tuesday's debate, selected by Wallace himself, include: Trump and Biden's records, the Supreme Court, Covid-19, the economy, race and violence in our cities, and the integrity of the election. If one of the candidates says something incorrect onstage Tuesday, it is the other candidate's job to raise concern and essentially fact check live, Fahrenkopf said.

It’s a setup. Of course Wallace will “fact check” Trump.
If he tries he shoud be butt checked instantly.
I think I’m going to watch a movie or read rather than watch the debate. I’ll check in with FR and see what’s being said. I can’t stomach Wallace and don’t want my blood pressure to jump.

Having Wallace as a political moderator is like going to court on bogus charges and seeing the prosecutors wife on the bench.

I hope Joe brings the same fact-checker he used for his “lightbulb inventor” story.....and whoever agreed with Joe’s own accounting of his education. That’s the ticket.

No way, Biden shows up without knowing the questions (and answers) up front.
Wallace is a democRat hack. He most assuredly will be providing the questions to team Biden and colluding with them prior to the debate. Wallace will be out to get Trump and at the same time protecting, helping Biden.
Democrats cheat. This is what they do.
But Biden is so feeble minded that he may not be able to hold-it-together even when he knows the questions prior to being asked.
Its hard to memorize debate answers..my guess is he will have an earpiece telling him little hints so he remembers what to say
Why bother? Team Biden will have had the questions well in advance and their carcass of a candidate will have their earpiece wedged so deeply into his near-empty cranium that their prepared talking points should be channeled loud and clear.

Absolutely. The prissy little anti-Trump worm will say “The facts don’t support that” to one (or more) of Trump’s answers and then refuse to give Trump time to respond. Bank on it.
They have ear pieces that go deeper in the ear canal you wont see it
