From what I read, she was fired because she was stealing drugs.
She made bad choices in her life, many of them connected to known criminal activity and known criminals, which altogether brought the police and folks she was associated with into an armed confrontation initiated by those associates of hers. In that melee she was shot in the cross fire. It was not a “racist” police “execution”.
