Germany’s Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development, Gerd Muller, has warned that lockdown measures throughout the globe will end up killing more people than the Coronavirus itself. In an interview with German newspaper Handelsblatt, Muller warned that the response to the global pandemic has resulted in “one of the biggest” hunger and poverty crises in history. Muller warned that further damage will be done if draconian measures continue to be enacted by governments. “We expect an additional 400,000 deaths from malaria and HIV this year on the African continent alone,” Muller emphasised, adding that “half a million more will die...

Boulder County announced a new public health order Thursday barring all college-aged individuals from gathering for at least two weeks. The order bars all indoor and outdoor gatherings for people in the 18 to 22 age group and cites University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) students as causing a surge in COVID-19 infection. The order said the county has seen 1,392 confirmed or probable COVID-19 cases among CU Boulder students in the age group since classes began August 24. The Justice Department today sent a letter to San Francisco mayor explaining that the city’s policy of only allowing a single worshiper in places of worship regardless of their size, while allowing multiple patrons in other indoor settings including gyms, tattoo parlors, hair salons, massage studios, and daycares, is contrary to the Constitution and the nation’s best tradition of religious freedom. The letter, sent by Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Eric Dreiband and U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of California, David Anderson, explains that San Francisco’s policy of treating secular businesses more favorably than houses of worship...

...So why does this kerfuffle over masks matter? It matters because Biden has made the pandemic the single issue on which he wants voters to decide who should be president. Yet he still can’t articulate a position on one of the key containment policies. And it matters because Biden and everyone around him keep chanting about his “steady, unifying, experienced leadership.” How does that square with his wobbliness on this relatively simple issue, and what is his experience worth if still can’t understand the limits of presidential power? Yes, the mask mandate is relatively trifle given the enormous issues at...

A podcaster and Bible teacher recently exhorted Christians to be aware of the occultic spiritual practices of Black Lives Matter (BLM) and to practice discernment instead of linking arms with the organization. “When the apostle Paul said that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness, this is what he was talking about,” said Abraham Hamilton II during his Aug. 19 “Hamilton Corner” broadcast entitled “The BLM Connection to Witchcraft.” He played segments of a Zoom discussion between BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors and Los Angeles chapter co-founder Melina Abdullah to provide evidence of the group’s communication with...

Washington (CNN) -- President Donald Trump and his campaign are spreading disinformation about an incident in Pennsylvania where nine ballots were improperly discarded, and are falsely claiming it proves widespread "voter fraud" and that Democrats are "trying to steal the election." According to federal and local authorities, an election worker improperly threw out nine military ballots in Luzerne County, and seven of the ballots were marked for Trump. Election experts said the incident raised legitimate questions about election procedures, but also condemned the Justice Department for politicizing the situation by highlighting that the votes were for Trump.
