A podcaster and Bible teacher recently exhorted Christians to be aware of the occultic spiritual practices of Black Lives Matter (BLM) and to practice discernment instead of linking arms with the organization.
When the apostle Paul said that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness, this is what he was talking about, said Abraham Hamilton II during his Aug. 19 Hamilton Corner broadcast entitled The BLM Connection to Witchcraft.
He played segments of a Zoom discussion between BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors and Los Angeles chapter co-founder Melina Abdullah to provide evidence of the groups communication with the dead in their very own words.
Maybe Im sharing too much, but we become very intimate with the spirits that we call on regularly, Abdullah said at one point during the interview. Each of them seems to have a different presence and personality. I laugh a lot with Waukesha [Wilson] (who was found dead in a Los Angeles jail cell in 2017). And I didnt meet her in her body, right, I met her through this work.
Hamilton also noted that Cullors and Abdullah talked about summoning the spirits of the dead to work though them and accomplish their purposes, a practice in the Yoruba religion Odu Ifa.
Hashtags are for us way more than a hashtag, Cullors said. It is literally almost resurrecting the spirit so they can work through us to get the work done. I started to feel personally connected and responsible and accountable to them both from a deeply political place, but also from a deeply spiritual place.
In my tradition, you offer things that your loved one who passed away would want, whether its honey or tobacco or things like that, she continued, referring to the creation of an ancestor altar, which is sometimes practiced in African cultures. Its so important, not just for us to be in direct relationship to our people whove passed but also for them to know weve remembered them. I believe so many of them work through us.
Adullah talked about pouring out libation at the place where the African American person lost their life. Libation is an act that is defined as a ritual pouring of a liquid as an offering to a god or spirit, or in memory of those who have passed on.
In case you dont know it yet, theyre not talking about the Holy Spirit. Theyre talking about channeling the powers of the ancestors, that it is the spirituality that enables them and empowers them to do this justice work,' Hamilton outlined.
He said that, consequently, the burgeoning say their name practice may not be as innocent as some think.
Theyre not doing what you think theyre doing. You think theyre just honoring people. They are conjuring up spirits, Hamilton lamented. These people really believe that the names of the folks that theyre saying have become ancestral gods that they are summoning when they require the attendees at these marches and these rallies to say their name.
He pointed to Deuteronomy 18:9-12, which prohibits communication with the dead.
When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord, the Scripture states.
We have churches that are putting up BLM banners in their churches. And Im saying, Lord, wheres the discernment?' he lamented. We have got to evaluate everything through the word of God.
Hamilton said that while racism may be an issue that needs to be addressed, the ways of BLM are not the righteous means to accomplish it. None of this is to say that there arent situations that exist where we need to grow in our demonstration and in our internalization of our love for our neighbors, he stated. But we dont need to adopt some pagan spirituality Marxist organizational rhetoric to do it. We dont need wicked help to obey God.
As previously reported, an article published by the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs explained that The Fight for Black Lives Is a Spiritual Movement.
The movement for Black lives
infuses a syncretic blend of African and indigenous cultures spiritual practices and beliefs, embracing ancestor worship; Ifa-based ritual such as chanting, dancing, and summoning deities; and healing practices such as acupuncture, reiki, therapeutic massage, and plant medicine in much of its work, including protest, the article states in part.
I have been thinking of David Wilkersons prophecy of the burning cities recently

.
Thanks for this post. I am not saying I am part of his group but I am cognizant of the fact the leftists are using witchcraft and curses cast against President Trump and his supporters. Abominable.
Getting involved with those things given the prohibitions is baaaaad news waiting to happen. But if they asked for help in hitting a curve ball...
Dear fellow believers in Christ
I humbly appeal to you, to earnestly and confidently to go boldly through the veil that has been torn in two and go before the throne of grace. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, then walk out in faith and take hold of the things yet on unseen!
Our prayers will make a tremendous impact on the forces of evil in heavenly places! When demonic principalities and powers hear the name of JESUS....
They not only hear hTHE NAME
But are hit by unapproachable light as it pierces their darkness and causes them great pain and overwhelming fear!
Take your place before the throne of God, humbly and earnestly go to war and claim the victory already won!
The Lord Jesus Christ shed his blood not ONLY for the remission of our sins But gloriously, to grant us access to God the Father Let God find us all there.
Grace and peace to you always in his love
RevelationDavid, your brother
Thanks for posting this.
Thanks for the link! I like David Wilkerson and will check it out.
What? Is this true?
Seems crazy.
But who knows.
With all my heart and soul, I believe we are battling demons disguised as people.
I wanted to make a TRUMP bandanna for my dog but TRUMP 2020 doesn’t seem like enough.
Maybe more like “VOTE AGAINST EVIL 2020”
I mean, he’s a big Dobermann so it’s not like somebody’s gonna yank it off of him in protest and anger.
“I mean, hes a big Dobermann so its not like somebodys gonna yank it off of him in protest and anger.”
Evil scum might shoot him.
I would humbly ask that you pray for me and mine, as well.
We are at the bottom.
Probably not in the middle of Trump supporters.
But yeah, I worry about that, too.
Demonic practice
He did a great job of scaring the street screamers back across the road, last time.

Amen!
Salamander, I understand and will be lifting you and yours up in prayer every day.
Sometimes it’s easy to forget that when we feel fatigued When we have fear Those times we lack faith Can be the times we hear the Lord’s voice and his promises more clearly than ever.
I pray that it will be this way for you tonight.
Salamander, when I too feel like I’m at the “bottom” I read slowly through the be beatitudes and talk to our heavenly father about each one...
It always helps me to remember that my father is Jehovah But at times like this I find myself reaching out to Abba father....my ‘Daddy”..... I know it sounds funny for some But it’s Abba father that our Savior told us to pray to...
... so tonight, take some time and get by yourself And talk to dad he loves your so much..
Here are the beatitudes
THE EIGHT BEATITUDES OF JESUS
“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Gospel of Matthew 5:3-10
I am your brother in his love And will be faithful in prayer.
