Moscow wanted to weaken Trump. Democrats made it happen. Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism. The Manchurian Candidate asked what if the biggest proponent of a Russian conspiracy is a Russian asset. The scenario may have been fictional in 1962, but the Democrats made it real in 2016. After four years of smears, lies, and posters of Trump and Putin making out, we now know that the Steele dossier, the basis for the entire Russia conspiracy theory, was Russian disinformation. And we...

[David Horowitz is the author of the forthcoming Humanix book, Blitz: Trump Will Smash the Left and Win. Pub date: June 2, pre-orders available on Amazon.] This article first appeared on Breitbart. During the rebel Sixties, one could easily identify the ranks of the hardcore Left by their constant predictions of a coming fascism and the evident glee with which they welcomed the prospect. Whether this was the product of a serious attempt to read the political winds, or merely a radical wish was irrelevant. They defended it as a strategy of “the worse the better.” In the 1968 presidential...

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called President Trump a "poor leader" that will use negative words to describe people he wants to hoist blame on instead of taking responsibility. In an interview Monday night with CNN's Anderson Cooper, Pelosi told the president it is never too late to "tell the truth" and do "the right thing." ... "It is fascinating how the press is just enamored of his press statements, and that every interview has to start with what he said," Pelosi added. "Let me just say to the president, it's never too late to tell the truth. It's never too...

Does Losartan block the receptor used by the Coronavirus? Medically reviewed by Carmen Fookes, BPharm Last updated on Mar 30, 2020. Official Answer by Drugs.com Losartan is not a receptor, but it does block a chemical (angiotensin II), from binding to a receptor, type 1 angiotensin 2 (AT1), which lowers blood pressure. Losartan does not block the virus causing COVID-19, called SARS-CoV-2, but it may reduce the activity of the renin-angiotensin system, which is overactive in people with high blood pressure, which may increase their risk of developing lung complications from COVID-19. Some animal studies found losartan beneficial at reducing...

A couple of weeks ago I predicted correctly that President Trump would reopen the economy midway between the point where the Democrats would blame him for doing it too early and the point where the Democrats would blame him for opening the economy too late. I now realized that the president has gone one better than that, he has actually threaded the needle on opening the economy. He has decreed a road-map and left it up to the governors how to drive the road back to town. The genius of this move, to me, is breathtaking. It really puts the...

Donald Trump is often wrong, but sometimes he’s just a little bit right. And when it comes to the World Health Organization, there are some morsels of truth in the U.S. President’s heaping bowl of error. Unfortunately, his preferred solution leans entirely on what he gets wrong.

MIDDLETOWN, Md. -- There is an argument to be made that the coronavirus pandemic could change the food supply chain for the long term. It may disrupt across the board our reliance on distant producers, processing plants and large chain grocery stores. In the process, it would connect many of us to local food in the same way our parents and grandparents were. For months during this pandemic, consumers who used to drive to the supermarket to buy prepackaged food have instead gotten food delivery literally from a farm to their table. People are getting hooked on direct food sourcing...

DETROIT, MI—On Meet the Press Sunday, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer reminded everyone that "revolutions and revolts are simply un-American." Whitmer called on the protesters in her state to stop their illegal assembling, reminding them that protesting so-called tyranny is a foreign idea to the history of the United States. "Protesting and revolting against your wise rulers goes against everything America was built on," she said. "It flies in the face of every American tradition. Revolting against tyranny has no place in this great country." Governor Whitmer then rattled off a long list of things that she also believes to be...

The NYMEX price for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) fell into negative territory on Monday, the lowest level ever recorded, and the only real question is why was anyone surprised by this turn of events? Think about it: As much as we like to talk about renewables and the Green New Deal and all the other pop-culture things, the global economy still runs by and large on oil and natural gas. Demand for oil is entirely dependent on economic growth. As the U.S., China and well over 150 other countries have gone about closing down vast swaths of their economies to...

GENEVA - The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Tuesday that all available evidence suggests the novel coronavirus originated in animals in China late last year and was not manipulated or produced in a laboratory. “All available evidence suggests the virus has an animal origin and is not manipulated or constructed in a lab or somewhere else,” WHO spokeswoman Fadela Chaib told a Geneva news briefing. “It is probable, likely, that the virus is of animal origin.” It was not clear, Chaib added, how the virus had jumped the species barrier to humans but there had “certainly” been an intermediate...

France's 42-year-old president, Emmanuel Macron, who has faced many challenges governing his country, is now positioning himself to take over the mantle of global leadership long reserved to the older leaders of China, Russia or especially the United States. And right now, he has no real challengers. The vehicle of this leadership campaign is Macron's proposal for a worldwide ceasefire -- a truce everywhere from Afghanistan to Syria, Iraq and Yemen. And he says he's a good part of the way there. There are five permanent members of the UN Security Council (France, China, Russia, Britain and the US) and...

Not only is Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari behind what several international observers are calling a “genocide” of Christians in his nation, but Barack Hussein Obama played a major role in the Muslim president’s rise to power. These two interconnected accusations are increasingly being made -- not by “xenophobic” Americans but Nigerians themselves, including several leaders and officials. Most recently, Femi Fani-Kayode, Nigeria’s former minister of culture and tourism, wrote in a Facebook post: What Obama, John Kerry and Hilary Clinton did to Nigeria by funding and supporting Buhari in the 2015 presidential election and helping Boko Haram in 2014/2015 was...

He's on-the-air. One of America's very best Talk Radio Show Hosts, IMO: Chris Plante from WMAL in DC. His show is the "prep work" for many other shows. And, unlike the others, he pulls no punches, tells it like it is and doesn't take any guff from liberal, leftist or commie/socialist/fascist callers. He's the guy we'd all like to sit down with and have a cheeseburger and a cold one, while talking about the state of America, and the crazies who are pulling the strings, behind-the-scenes. Get a fresh refill of your favorite coffee, a warm croissant, the Hoppe's Cleaning...

Scientists in China have discovered more than 30 mutations of the new coronavirus, which they say may partly explain why it has been more deadly in certain parts of the world. Researchers from Zhejiang University said they had "direct evidence" that the virus "has acquired mutations capable of substantially changing its pathogenicity". The study was written by a team including Professor Li Lanjuan, one of China's top scientists who was reportedly the first expert to propose a lockdown in Wuhan - where COVID-19 originated. Samples were taken from 11 patients admitted to hospitals in Hangzhou, 470 miles east of Wuhan,...

Just in time for Earth Day tomorrow:AOC’s posters were admired for their resemblance to Soviet and/or Nazi propaganda posters Some additional words of wisdom from AOC – in a tweet she later removed for some reason: Sweet mother, could this woman be any stupider? Or more evil? “The right time for a worker-led, mass investment in green infrastructure” – hey little genius economist-turned-bartender-turned-legislator, I’ve got some bad news for you. First, this means millions more U.S. citizens will be out of work, the economy will be in a shambles and “you absolutely have to love it?” You should be horse...

The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee told CBS News the former first lady would be a strong addition as VP. However, he is unsure if she would accept the nomination. 'I'd take her in a heartbeat,' Biden said during an interview on Monday. 'She's brilliant. She knows the way around. She is a really fine woman.' Biden has has already committed to choosing a woman as his running mate and noted it was still early in the process of selecting a vice president. 'I'll commit to that be a woman because it is very important that my administration look like the...
