House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called President Trump a "poor leader" that will use negative words to describe people he wants to hoist blame on instead of taking responsibility. In an interview Monday night with CNN's Anderson Cooper, Pelosi told the president it is never too late to "tell the truth" and do "the right thing." ...
"It is fascinating how the press is just enamored of his press statements, and that every interview has to start with what he said," Pelosi added.
"Let me just say to the president, it's never too late to tell the truth. It's never too late to do the right thing. Stop misrepresenting about the testing," Pelosi said.

What ultimately mattters are the substantive policy decisions he makes, and how he exercises his constitutional powers. What he says may make headlines, but ultimately is of minimal import.
