President Trump announced Sunday his approval for Ford, General Motors and Tesla to produce desperately needed ventilators during the COVID-19 pandemic. The president said in a tweet that the auto companies will be permitted to “make ventilators and other metal products, FAST!” “Go for it auto execs, lets see how good you are?” he posted, tagging incoming White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.). President Trump signed the Defense Production Act last week which permits the administration to draft the American industry into manufacturing needed medical supplies...

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has no intention of dropping out of the race for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, and as the July convention draws closer, his decision to keep his campaign alive may mean chaos for the Democratic party. Five more states have suspended their Democratic primaries amid concerns about coronavirus, and it may soon be impossible for any candidate to win a majority of delegates. The New York Times reports that Indiana, Connecticut, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Maryland have now joined Ohio in postponing their presidential contests, leaving the future of the Democratic presidential nomination uncertain. Ohio, of...

Just thinking out loud, but I believe that it is statistically impossible to just stop this virus in its tracks, as China is claiming as there are no new cases being reported, unless China had the antidote all along. Either China is lying about its cases, or this is beginning to look like biological warfare, as Wuhan being the testing ground. The Spanish flu took almost 2 years to run its course, yet we are to believe that China has conquered this? Thoughts...

[Editor's note: Lack of FDA approval does not prohibit off-label use of drugs for other threapeutic purposes, but would inhibit widespred use.] You are being lied to about the drugs that heal COVID19. America's FDA, and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci, are dragging their feet on approving a drug that provides very strong positive effect on COVID19. Fauci, speaking from the White House, said on the matter of approving Hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin: "It's it's essentially what I said multiple times from this podium. Is that when you have, first of all, we're trying...

Ohio doctors are obtaining so many prescriptions of a possible coronavirus treatment for themselves, their families, their colleagues and their friends that it’s wiping out the supply for everybody else -- including victims of Lupus who will become more susceptible to the virus without their usual medication. As a result, Ohio’s pharmacy board, in an emergency meeting Sunday morning, barred pharmacists from dispensing chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19 unless a person has tested positive for the virus or otherwise approved by the pharmacy board’s executive director. In order to get either of those drugs the patient’s positive test must be...

I’ve been noticing this morning and this weekend, that the News channels are giving Governor Cuomo more coverage than reasonable to his statements about Covid-19 and his actions and opinions about what should be done. They are pushing Cuomo as an alternative to Joe Biden for the Democratic Candidate President in a brokered Convention. Even Fox interrupts other interviewees to go back to Cuomo’s comments. This is ridiculous.

Like all Americans, President Trump can’t wait for the COVID-19 pandemic to be over. And while his administration struggles to get supplies and equipment out to hospitals facing critical shortages, he holds out hope that the disease, for which there is currently no proven treatment, can be eradicated with one stroke, by a medical coup. [SNIP] Trump has been touting the potential of hydroxychloroquine for several days, noting that it has already been approved by the FDA for treating malaria and rheumatoid arthritis. That means it has been tested for safety (although it can have side effects, some of them...

HAVANA - Communist-run Cuba said it dispatched a brigade of doctors and nurses to Italy for the first time this weekend to help in the fight against the novel coronavirus at the request of the worst-affected region Lombardy. The Caribbean island has sent its “armies of white robes” to disaster sites around the world largely in poor countries since its 1959 revolution. Its doctors were in the front lines in the fight against cholera in Haiti and against ebola in West Africa in the 2010s. “We are all afraid but we have a revolutionary duty to fulfill, so we take...

In 2010, the incomparable Charles Krauthammer expertly explained the absurdity behind the extensive security measures introduced at airports across the country, stating that “everyone knows that the entire apparatus of the security line is a national homage to political correctness.” Titled “Don’t Touch My Junk,” his piece described “the point at which a docile public declares that it will tolerate only so much idiocy.” “The only reason we continue to do this is that people are too cowed to even question the absurd taboo against profiling — when the profile of the airline attacker is narrow, concrete, uniquely definable...

The 2020 Dubai World Cup card, scheduled for March 28, was canceled on Sunday by Dubai government officials. A release from the government of Dubai media office announced what was translated into English as a postponement until next year, meaning there will be no 2020 World Cup. The United Emirates Racing season begins in the autumn and all but wraps up before the hottest months with the World Cup in late March. Iran sits just north of Dubai across the Strait of Hormuz and has close commercial ties to the United Arab Emirates. Iran became an early hotspot in the...

President Donald Trump touted a two-drug cocktail Saturday to battle the coronavirus. But the medicines together have been linked to cardiac arrhythmia and sudden death. Concerned physicians responded to Trump’s tweet crowing about what could be “one of the biggest game-changers in the history of medicine” with warnings about the serious side effects — and urgent pleas not to try to obtain the drugs without a medical prescription in consultation with a doctor. Hydroxychloroquine, sold under the brand name Plaquenil, and the antibiotic Azithromycin in combination have shown some early promise against COVID-19. But the drugs together have not been...

Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen tested negative for COVID-19, according to Pence’s press secretary Katie Miller in a Saturday night tweet. Pence previously announced that he and his wife would be tested later in the afternoon during a White House press briefing Saturday. The Pences’ negative test results come on the heels of one of the VP’s staffers testing positive for COVID-19 on Friday. Pence denied that neither he nor President Trump had direct contact with the staffer, saying during the White House press briefing Saturday that the White House physician advised him that he “has no...

New Hampshire retail stores are being ordered to temporarily transition to the use of single-use paper or plastic bags because of the risk that reusable bags could pose a risk of transmission of the coronavirus. In the order issued late Saturday, Gov. Chris Sununu directed all grocers and retail stores in New Hampshire to transition to use only new paper or plastic grocery bags provided by stores “as soon as feasibly possible.” “Our grocery store workers are on the front lines of COVID-19, working around the clock to keep New Hampshire families fed,” the governor said in a statement. “With...

According to the Border Patrol, we have been flooded with thousands of foreign nationals from countries affected by the coronavirus. Department of Homeland Security figures show that since October 2019, nearly 151,000 border crossers and illegal aliens from 72 countries affected by the virus have been apprehended at our border. Since October, 1,657 Chinese nationals have been apprehended at our southern border – according the DHS, they present a unique public health threat. No kidding. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator Peter Gaynor is calling the shortage of health-care supplies “a global problem” as the coronavirus outbreak around the world increases demand. ABC’s Martha Raddatz asked Gaynor on Sunday how medical workers became desperate for “critical supplies.” “We’re going to try to meet every need in the nation,” he replied on “This Week.” “But a word of caution, the supplies that governors are looking for are the same supplies that every other country in the world is looking for, so this is a global problem,” he added. The coronavirus is a product of the left, the third and final installment of its trilogy of doomsday scenarios that rounds out the Russia collusion and Ukrainian quid pro quo narratives. Only this time, after years of seeing their collective efforts to take down the president of the United States fail, they've hit the jackpot. The elitist ruling class and self-appointed gatekeepers of our society and culture — academia, Big Tech, the entertainment industry, and the mainstream media — have finally found a way to make themselves relevant again, have finally found a mechanism to gain back some of the...
