Jameis Winston bade farewell to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following the signing of Tom Brady, with the outgoing quarterback telling fans he would see them at February's Super Bowl.

The Bucs completed the marquee acquisition of Brady on Friday. The 42-year-old superstar left the New England Patriots earlier in the week after winning a record six Super Bowl rings with the franchise.

I thought we could all use a laugh. I guess Famous Anus is telling us that he's already bought Super Bowl tickets. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. /sarcasm

I also wonder if he's going to hold out for only teams in cities that have Publix stores so he can steal more crab legs. Anyjuan know if he still shouts out indecent and out of context web memes in public like he did at FSU? Thugs gonna thug.

Not team. No football even if he had a team. So no Super Bowl.

He might go to the Super Bowl if he signs with the Chiefs as a backup.

biggest waste of a number 1 pick ever...these so called “running QB’s” in college always flame out in the pros....everything happens just a little bit faster..they end up throwing interceptions or just running, cant read the defenses quick enough.

Jameis. Is he still living the thug life? I haven’t read of any recent beatdowns of his girlfriends.

I never liked Winston, but that wasn’t a bad farewell.

In fact, it was pretty classy.

Winston has a future in the NFL - no one threw for more yardage than he did last year. Of course, he also threw 30 INTs, including a pick-6 to end his season, the Bucs playoff chances and his career in Tampa. But he will get signed, and some team will hope to get the Winston who threw for over 450 years and 4 TDs against the Lions in week 15.

But neither he nor the Brady Bucs are likely to make the Super Bowl next year.

The Chicago Bears signed Nick Foles this past week. Foles won the Superbowl two years ago defeating Tom Brady & the New England Patriots.

Foles and Brady won't meet in the Superbowl this year since both are in the NFC however they WILL play at Soldier Field this year assuming we have an NFL Season.

Won't that be fun to watch. :-)

BTW: I live in the Chicago area (far, far, FAR southwest suburbs, 30 miles away) however I'm a Green Bay Packers fan.

Do the Bucs really think Brady will put them over the top this season? At 42, he’s hardly a player who is going to be there over a period of years. So I figured the Bucs may figure Brady would do it for them this season. He’s not going to be there four or five years from now.

Why will nobody listen to me on Scam Newton? All they have to do to get him to play well again is to pay him through his father like they did during his college years.

Winston, the only way you’ll see the Super Bowl is if you bought tickets... In Tampa my dream Super Bowl matchup... Green Bay and Buffalo...

Tampa has a better team than you give them credit for. Defense, sacks, receivers are all top notch. And Brady can be a great motivator. But, as they say, the game is played on the field, not in the states. We shall see . . .

As I looooong time Buc fans, Jameis was a good pick, he has great stats except for his uncanny ability to throw it to the other team!!!!

Crappy coaching in his early career certainly did not help him....

I wonder if the signing of Brady was just a pragmatic business moves aimed at generating interest in the team.

Tampa Bay has consistently been among the worst teams in the NFL for attendance figures in recent years.
