POTUS Donald Trump did not “collude” with Russia to “steal the election” from Hillary Clinton. He did not “obstruct justice” by firing the most politically compromised FBI agent ever — James Comey — because special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe continued to its conclusion. And he didn’t “obstruct” the Mueller team because he cooperated with investigators. In short, nothing President Trump has done is a violation of law, let along a “high crime or misdemeanor,” which is the constitutional standard for impeaching a president.

President Trump has announced that the United States will impose new tariffs of 5 percent on all Mexican imports starting this month. The White House said the tariffs will gradually increase to 25 percent by October if Mexico does not take action to “reduce or eliminate the number of illegal aliens” crossing into the United States. Put simply, these tariffs are bad for the country, bad for the markets, and bad for Trump. The impact of these tariffs will be felt nationally and will have painful consequences for the economies of more than two dozen states, ranging from California to...

They couldn’t be bothered. Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio blew off a solemn dedication ceremony Thursday for a memorial to those who died from toxic exposure to Ground Zero — and got blasted by first responders and their families. “They should have been here and it’s unacceptable that they’re not,” said Maureen Fritz, who attended the 10:30 a.m. event in honor of her brother, firefighter William Gormley, who died in 2016 of 9/11-related illness. “They ought to be ashamed of themselves — They should not be re-elected at all because that’s not how you treat your citizens,...

President Donald Trump is "deadly serious" about his threat to impose a 5 percent tariff on all goods from Mexico over his concerns of illegal immigration, Mick Mulvaney, the acting White House chief of staff, said Sunday. "He is absolutely, deadly serious," Mulvaney said on Fox News Sunday. "I fully expect these tariffs to go on to at least the 5 percent level on June 10." Trump last week tweeted the United States would impose a 5 percent tariff on all goods from Mexico "until such time as illegal migrants coming through Mexico, and into our Country, STOP." Mulvaney doubled-down...

Nun decapitated; Christian persecution deemed close to “international definition of genocide” A Catholic nun was decapitated in a brutal attack during two weeks of violence in the Central African Republic [CAR] which has killed at least 30 people. A UN source said the murders were carried out by a group called 3R, “which hosted a meeting with the villagers and then gunned them down indiscriminately. The group takes its initials from three words in French meaning Return, Reclamation and Reconciliation. It claims to represent the Fulani jihadist militia, one of the CAR’s many ethnic groups.” The head of “3R” is...

A Georgia man convicted of throwing scalding water on a sleeping same-sex couple told one of them to “get out of my house with all that gay,” a victim testified, yet he couldn’t be charged with a hate crime because the state has no such law. Victim Anthony Gooden said in a recent interview that he still can’t use his left arm, which was severely burned in the 2016 attack, and wears a brace. He can’t tie his shoelaces or work. Martin Blackwell was sentenced to 40 years in prison for the crime. “Forty years is not enough to have...

“‘Whenever you fast, do not put on a gloomy face as the hypocrites do, for they neglect their appearance so that they will be noticed by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full’” (Matthew 6:16). The Greek word for “fast” literally means not to eat, to abstain from food. But by the time of Christ, fasting had been perverted and twisted beyond what was scriptural and sincere. Fasting had become a ritual to gain merit with God and attention before men—it was largely a hypocritical religious show. Many Pharisees fasted twice a week (Luke 18:12),...

Salesforce Opens a New Window. has updated its acceptable-use policy, telling its customers to either stop selling certain firearms or forget about using its software, a report stated. The company, which describes Opens a New Window. itself as an “online solution for customer relationship management,” updated its policy in April, The Washington Post Opens a New Window. first reported. The tech giant’s policy states that it was barring customers that sell select firearms, including certain semi-automatic firearms, 3D printed guns, ghost guns, and firearms without serial numbers. The policy also forbids customers from selling certain firearm accessories, including “multi-burst trigger...

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” House Intelligence chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said special counsel Robert Mueller had a “duty” to testify before Congress about his investigation into the 2016 election. Schiff said, “I was disappointed to see such a profound reluctance to testify. I understand that. I think he has one last service to perform. It’s not enough merely to speak for 10 minutes and say, ‘I’m not going to answer questions for Congress and the American people.’ There are a great many things that are not in the report.” He continued, “We want to find out what happened...

Israel and the US will offer incentives to Russia later this month in a bid to curb Iran’s influence in Syria, which could include legitimizing the continued leadership of Syrian leader Bashar Assad, a London-based Arabic newspaper reported Sunday. The incentives will be raised at an unprecedented trilateral meeting of national security advisers scheduled for later this month in Jerusalem, according to a report in Asharq al-Awsat that quoted Western diplomats and was cited by Israel’s Kan public broadcaster. The report did not clarify what the other proposals could be. US National Security Adviser John Bolton, Israeli National Security Adviser...

Though former second lady Jill Biden has promised to keep a close rein on husband Joe’s inappropriate touching and sniffing of women on the campaign trail, there was another incident this week involving a 10-year-old girl at a town hall in Houston hosted by the American Federation of Teachers. Jill explained that “the batteries in the shock collar he now ears under his shirt had rundown from overuse. Without this needed reminder not to touch, Joe was being his usual touchy-feely self. I take full responsibility for not having a back-up power source in place. But let’s not overlook the...

NEW YORK — Vice President Joe Biden was documented as being present in the Oval Office for a conversation about the controversial Russia probe between President Obama, disgraced ex-FBI chief James Comey, Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates and other senior officials including Obama’s national security advisor Susan Rice. In an action characterized as “odd” last year by then-Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, Rice memorialized the confab in an email to herself describing Obama as starting “the conversation by stressing his continued commitment to ensuring that every aspect of this issue is handled by the Intelligence and law enforcement communities...

In late 2015, Bob Minetti started feeling stomach pains that mysteriously came and went and moved to his lower back. Extensive testing led to one of the most dire of diagnoses: pancreatic cancer. And the small tumor was lodged against a key blood vessel, so it couldn't be surgically removed. Minetti, a retired academic fundraiser from South Natick, Massachusetts, enrolled in a clinical trial at Massachusetts General Hospital that included a powerful newer chemotherapy, called FOLFIRINOX. The tumor, which he thought of as about the size of a hard candy, responded dramatically. "It's really shrunk like butter in the microwave,"...

That’s why I don’t give a damn about misogynist takes on my intelligence,” she said in a response to tweet from a person online mocking her. **SNIP** The Bronx Democrat was responding to a critical tweet aimed at her by conservative columnist Kurt Schlichter.

Obama officials are already turning on each other as they anticipate disclosures implicating them in potential criminality.  Former President Barack Hussein Obama’s illegal surveillance scandal of President Donald Trump is set to put Watergate to shame, as Obama allegedly used spying powers that put Nixon’s Watergate fiasco to shame. Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my "wires tapped" in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 4, 2017  After Trump made that tweet shortly after becoming President, he was lambasted by the fake news and liberal establishment. Time has proven him...
