Looting Russia's Free MarketPosted Aug. 12, 2002By Kelly Patricia O'Meara Media Credit: Darren McCollester/Newsmakers Americans are becoming only too aware of the financial tricks and deceit in which some of the nation's largest and most respected corporations engaged during the Clinton administration to pump up stock prices with fraudulently inflated profits. When the huge bubble no longer could be sustained the men and women at the top would bail out of their stock and pocket millions, leaving pensioners and other investors holding an empty bag. To market insiders these are known as "pump and dumps." While federal investigators are looking...

An FBI spokesperson confirmed agents “conducted law enforcement activity” at the Upper East Side high-rise and Long Island estate linked to billionaire Viktor Vekselberg, but declined to comment further. FBI officials and Homeland Security Investigation agents were seen carrying boxes out of Vekselberg’s 515 Park Ave. apartment building and his Southampton mansion at 19 Duck Pond Lane, according to NBC New York, which first reported the searches. Russian sources have revealed a possible case of collusion between the Clinton Foundation and Oligarch Viktor Vekselberg, who invested in Trump-critical online media during the 2016 campaign. Leading Russian political Telegram channel Nezygar reports that Russian-based Oligarch Viktor Vekselberg used US media companies to try and sabotage the Trump campaign beginning in 2016. Vekselberg is one of the wealthiest men in Russia, worth over $10 billion, and has donated to the Clinton Foundation since Hillary’s tenure as Secretary of State. Nezygar reports that Vekselberg bought a share in Odyssey Media, a fast-growing U.S. blog platform, in April 2016. At that...

Now that both the House and Senate have cleared Donald Trump of Democrat-inspired allegations of Russian collusion, it is worth revisiting one anecdote that escaped significant attention during the hysteria but continues to have U.S. security implications. As secretary of State, Hillary Clinton worked with Russian leaders, including Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and then-President Dmitri Medvedev, to create U.S. technology partnerships with Moscow’s version of Silicon Valley, a sprawling high-tech campus known as Skolkovo. ADVERTISEMENT Clinton’s handprint was everywhere on the 2009-2010 project, the tip of a diplomatic spear to reboot U.S.-Russian relations after years of hostility prompted by Vladimir...

Stormy Daniels’ attorney claimed Tuesday that President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen received $500,000 from a company controlled by a Russian oligarch, deposited into an account for a company also used to pay off the adult film actress. Daniels’ attorney, Michael Avenatti, also detailed other transactions he said were suspicious, including deposits from drug giant Novartis, the state-run Korea Aerospace Industries, and AT&T — which confirmed it paid Cohen’s company for “insights” into the Trump administration.

Despite California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger plunging job approval ratings and waning biceps, he still had time for a ho-hum visit with President Medvedev at Cisco HQ in San Jose on June 23rd. The President met with Cisco CEO John Chambers and members of the Cisco executive team over TelePresence and got to make a video (wink, wink). Following this discussion, Chambers and Viktor Vekselberg signed an MoU to confirm Cisco's commitment to the Skolkovo project. Arnold was very quiet so I don’t think he will be back!...
