It’s every tomophobians’ worst nightmare. Bryan was taken to Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast Hospital in Walton County, Florida, on Aug. 18. What happened next was, as the Bryan family’s attorney, Joe Zarzaur, put it, “one of the most egregious cases of medical malpractice that I’ve ever been involved with.” .......

Here's an absolutely wild story out of the state of Alabama. In 1997, a headless body was discovered in the woods of Marshall County, Alabama along the Little Cotaco Creek near Union Springs. The headless man appeared to have been decapitated with a saw, as well as having his hands and feet removed as well, making him impossible to identify at the time. In addition, the man's heart and spleen were also removed with "surgical precision" according to authorities. But now, 26 years later, the man has been identified as Jefferey Douglas Kimzy of Santa Barbara, California. Now the question...

A Fresno woman is seeking monetary damages after a doctor removed her spleen instead of a diseased kidney, a mistake that left a pathologist “astonished,” according to a lawsuit. The woman, Sarajane Parfitt, must undergo another operation to take out the kidney, and the removal of the spleen leaves her vulnerable to serious infections, according to medical experts. The lawsuit, filed in Fresno County Superior Court in June, contends the mistake has caused Parfitt “severe emotional distress.” Paul Pimentel, Parfitt’s attorney, called the surgical error “insane...I’ve never heard of this in this community.” Named in the lawsuit are Dr. Narayana...

Dr. Byram Bridle Professor of Viral Immunology University of Guelph ‘We finally learned how and where the Vaccine antibodies are stored in the body’ ‘The spike protein in Vaccines can kill you’ Dr. Bridle is not an alarmist. Pfizer Japanese government study… https://files.catbox.moe/0vwcmj.pdf “The infamous spike protein of the coronavirus gets into the blood where it circulates for several days post-vaccination and then accumulated in organs and tissues including the spleen, bone marrow, the liver, adrenal glands, and in quite high concentrations in the ovaries”; “a large number of studies has shown...

Overlooked organ harbors immune cells, serving a greater purpose than thought, new study finds It’s high time somebody said something nice about the lowly spleen. The much-maligned organ serves as a holding tank for ready-to-go immune agents called monocytes, a new study finds. These simple cells are first responders to trouble sites in the body, and the spleen is their main dispatcher, researchers report in the July 31 Science. While it’s true that people can survive without a spleen, the organ is far from worthless. It recycles iron from old red blood cells, houses fresh blood cells, synthesizes antibodies and...

In a major step in understanding how the nervous system and the immune system interact, scientists at The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research have identified a new anatomical path through which the brain and the spleen communicate. The spleen, once thought to be an unnecessary bit of tissue, is now regarded as an organ where important information from the nervous reaches the immune system. Understanding this process could ultimately lead to treatments that target the spleen to send the right message when fighting human disease. Mauricio Rosas-Ballina, MD, working with colleagues in the laboratory of Kevin J. Tracey, MD, figured...

To: All I'd like to thank everyone here for all your prayers and support the past 10 days. It has meant so much to me and my family. As you know there was NO cancer and because my descending colon takes a few turns and "s" curves, I still have more colon than most people!!! As it turns out, the radiation therapy that I had in 1974, which shriveled two arteries by 1996 leading to an arterial bypass, is the culprit once again. My transverse colon was shriveled and fused to my spleen. The Doctor was unable to separate the...

The slick Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International flyer that appeared in Sunday newspapers throughout the country showed a little girl on monkey bars with her hand just inches from the next bar. "The cure is so close we can almost touch it," her accompanying mother says. Likewise, JDRF Chairwoman Mary Tyler Moore proclaimed in a recent TV commercial, "We are so close to finding a cure." So wrong. JDRF is the world's largest juvenile diabetes philanthropy, distributing over $85 million in grants last year. Yet it supports no efforts that could lead to a cure any time soon for this...
