It seems Beto O’Rourke can threaten ‘I’m coming For Your AR-15,’ But if you respond ‘My AR is ready for you’ that’s a ‘Death Threat’ WOW! Beto O’Rourke who has been spewing his rhetoric about screwing the 2nd Amendment, because if he’s elected President he’ll send the Government to your house and take your AR-15, if you don’t comply with his mandatory buy back. Since Briscoe Cain posted the message, Twitter of course, removed it for violating their “Your Not A Democrat” policies.

In an interview at SXSW last month, US Senate hopeful Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke kicked off his campaign by doing something most Texas Democrats have been loath to do: line out his opposition to the Second Amendment and advocate that Texans should be prohibited from purchasing the most popular firearm in the United States. “There is no reason an AR-15, a weapon of war designed for the sole purpose of taking lives as effectively and as efficiently and [in] as great a number as possible should be sold to civilians to be used in our schools, in our churches, in...

Briscoe Cain, a member of the Texas House of Representatives, had posted a Twitter message during Thursday’s Democratic debate in Houston, after O’Rourke said he planned to take away high-powered weapons from civilians if elected president. “Hell yes, we’re gonna take your AR-15,” O’Rourke, a former congressman from El Paso, Texas, said during the debate. “My AR is ready for you Robert Francis,” Cain responded, using O’Rourke’s birth name. O’Rourke made it clear he didn’t interpret Cain’s tweet to be a joke. “This is a death threat, Representative,” O’Rourke wrote. “Clearly, you shouldn’t own an AR-15—and neither should anyone else.”...

Full Title: Trump expected to announce gun control legislation this week. But the substance of it is a mystery The Trump administration is expected to announce its proposal to curb gun violence as soon as next week. But after the Democrats' fiery debate on gun control, what President Trump will support is far from clear. The White House has been talking to a trio of lawmakers: Democrats Chris Murphy and Joe Manchin and Republican Pat Toomey. They all support tougher background checks. After the recent mass shootings in Dayton, Ohio and El Paso, Texas, Mr. Trump called for gun control...

Full Header: The Three Issues The Democratic Debate Decided To Gloss Over To Prevent Embarrassing The 2020 Field As members of the 2020 clown show debated last night, three questions remained off the docket. Granted, there was a lot of Trump-bashing, some intense moments where the candidates slung mud at one another, and the reiteration of trash left-wing policies. One thing is clear: there is not a single person on that stage last night who can beat Donald Trump. It’s not even close. For the three-hours this breakfast was on, we learned that Democrats want to increase taxes, have a...

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) responded on Thursday after the chief executives of more than 100 companies wrote a letter to the U.S. Senate urging Congress to pass various anti-gun measures. “Now look, here’s my starting point: I want to see facts. I believe love is the answer, but I also own a handgun just in case, and that’s my right as an American citizen,” Kennedy told Fox Business host Stuart Varney. “The Bill of Rights is not an a la carte menu — the Second [Amendment] is just as important as the First or the Fourth.” “Some of my colleagues...

Joe Biden had attempted to inject some sanity in the Democratic debate over gun control by noting that presidents don’t have the authority in the Constitution to order seizures of firearms and banning guns. Harris, a former AG, literally laughed off that concern when ABC News anchor David Muir asked her about it Kamala Harris replied to Biden's claim that her proposed exec order would be unconstitutional by *laughing* and blithely saying "instead of saying no we can't, how about yes we can". HARRIS: Well, I mean, I would just say, hey, Joe, instead of saying, no, we can’t, let’s...

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) responded to 145 companies pushing for more gun laws by suggesting corporate gun control is “social signaling at the country club.” On September 12, Breitbart News reported the GAP, Levi Strauss, Pinterest, Twitter, Yelp, and 140 other companies sent a letter to Congress asking for universal background checks and legislation allowing court orders to seize firearms. The Hill reports that Cruz responded to the letter while attending a breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor on Thursday. He said, “I don’t think it’s a positive thing to see big corporations shifting their focus from their customers...

Ahead of the latest debacle of a Presidential debate, Senator Cory Booker symbolically introduced a bill that would mandate federal licensing for anyone who wanted to legally have a gun. Key word there is “legally,” since a large number of gun crimes involve stolen guns. Even far left “think tanks” like American Progress admit this. Booker’s bill would also create a federal gun registry, as license applicants would have to list every gun they have by make, model, and serial number.

During a town hall style interview with WMUR 9 Friday, former Vice President and 2020 Democrat Presidential Candidate Joe Biden came out against the Supreme Court's ruling on District of Columbia v. Heller. “Do you agree with the DC vs Heller decision in regards to protecting the individual right to bear arms that are in common use and which are utilized for lawful purposes?” Biden was asked. "The answer is," Biden Said. "If I were on the court I wouldn't make the same ruling. Okay?" Joe Biden Comes Out Against Heller...Video The Heller ruling, which was decided 5-4, confirmed the...

The holy grail of those who wish us disarmed is gun registration. Once your guns are required to be registered, they are, in effect, already confiscated. A little thought will reveal to you why this is so.The Government will know who has legal possession of each firearm. They will know where the firearm is stored. When physical possession of the gun is desired, they can order you to turn it in. This has happened repeatedly. The historical examples include NAZI Germany, Soviet Russia, Red China, and Cambodia. Recent examples include Kosovo, Great Britain, Australia, New York, and California. Not...

The National Rifle Association sued San Francisco on Monday over the city's recent declaration that the gun-rights lobby is a "domestic terrorist organization." The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, accuses city officials of violating the gun lobby's free speech rights for political reasons and says the city is seeking to blacklist anyone associated with the NRA. It asks the court to step in "to instruct elected officials that freedom of speech means you cannot silence or punish those with whom you disagree."

In a new video message released on the internet Friday, American-born al Qaeda spokesman Adam Gadahn calls on Muslims living in America to carry out deadly one-man terrorist acts using fully automatic weapons purchased at gun shows, and to target major institutions and public figures. "What are you waiting for?" asks Gadahn in English, and then adds that jihadis shouldn't worry about getting caught, since so many have been released. "Over these past few years, I've seen the release of many, many Mujahideen whom I had never even dreamed would regain their freedom." The two-part, two hour video appeared on...

This is for all the readers and commentors bookmarking my past AR-15 guides and discussions: Last month, a few rifle builders on one of my forums asked questions about installing mil-spec and commercial buffer systems on their finished 80% lower units. One cited issues with their lower assembly install and the castle nut threads. Others weren't entirely sure about what either type of measurement specification represented. So, I wrote up a guide explaining the similarities and differences between the two.

During his presidential campaign, Donald Trump said previous Republicans had made big promises to get votes and failed to deliver, but that he would be different. Appealing to America’s 100 million gun owners, he argued against two elements of Democrats’ civilian disarmament agenda: “universal” background checks, which Democrats hope to transform into a federal gun registry that can be used to enforce gun confiscation, and a ban on semi-automatic rifles Democrats call “assault weapons.”However, several weeks ago Trump and several Republicans in Congress said they were considering giving in to Democrats on both counts. For various reasons, perhaps including his...

After the deadly Feb. 14, 2018, mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., national media focused largely on a handful of student activists, leaving it to victims’ parents to unravel why the slaughter happened. Andrew Pollack, whose daughter, Meadow, was one of the 17 killed, conducted his own investigation to uncover the roots of what he calls the most avoidable mass murder in American history. He and Max Eden are co-authors of “Why Meadow Died: The People and Policies that Created the Parkland Shooter and Endanger America’s Students.” This adapted excerpt, based on never-before-released educational records...

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) said Monday that he believes all commercial gun sales should be subject to a background check and signaled he's open to supporting bipartisan legislation from Sens. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and Pat Toomey (R-Pa.). "It certainly should be applied to commercial sales and finding a more comprehensive way to make sure that people are in the system that ought to be in the system," Romney told reporters when asked about expanding background checks. Asked if he would support legislation from Manchin and Toomey, which would expand gun background checks to all commercial sales, Romney said he had...

Pressure is mounting on Congress to “do something” in response to recent mass shootings in Texas and Ohio. A poll released Monday confirms what has been true for years: namely, that Americans support new gun regulations.

Paul, a strong gun-rights advocate, signaled his willingness to support something along the lines of "red flag" laws that allow guns to be removed from those who may be a danger to themselves and others. "I'm not opposed to sort of an emergency order for 48 hours and then you get a hearing in a court where you get the full due-process protections," he said in the interview. "It's the one thing that could fix a lot of stuff. I think most of these homicidal attackers ... are sending off signals to their family and community."
