Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' fight to remain on the prosecution in former President Donald Trump's Georgia election interference case is over. After the end of closing arguments, Judge Scott McAfee, who is presiding over the case, said he would make a decision on disqualifying her within the next two weeks. Trump's attorneys told the judge they had multiple new witness testimonies that had just come to light that morning, but McAfee refused to admit them because the defense hadn't had a chance to examine the evidence. McAfee signaled to Trump's attorneys that he may not need any more...

It’s just the flu, bro. It’s time for the tyranny to end. Let free people do as they please. Politicians need help/pressure so that they know what to do. They are a bunch of sheep and cowards. Really impressed with the protests we are seeing...I hope it makes a difference. I pictured protesting to be more the passion of the left but if you keep productive people from working they find the time to protest too. These protesters are helping us. The numbers are full of lies - follow the money.
  • The Panic Is Worse Than The Disease

I am very concerned that the panic is already worse than the disease, and that we are now only hurting ourselves by continuing this exercise in mass hysteria. A solution to the Wuhan Flu (aka: Corvid19) is available. We can use the hydroxychloroquine protocol (HCQ). A vaccine is beginning to be tested in Israel. And now the University of Pittsburgh has a potential solution: HotAir story, "We might already have a vaccine -- and a safer delivery method, too" (Link: https://hotair.com/archives/ed-morrissey/2020/04/03/university-pittsburgh-might-already-vaccine-safer-delivery-method/) I believe President Trump's initial response was correct. China's reaction to the outbreak with its quarantine of Hebei Province...

Recent data for Covid-19 cases as of 3-19-20 7AM alongside the increased number of tests, plus death rates for the 2017-18 flu (you must do the math).Below is a list of states per currently reported COVID-19 infections (from Politico via The COVID Tracking Project as of 3-19-20 7:25 AM EDT. CNN reports higher numbers but not the death or testing numbers) in comparison with population size and number of tests. The latter is important since the rate of infections must be compared with the degree of tests in order to determine the rate of trasnmission. Both can be compared with...

The CDC estimates that so far this season there have been at least 22,000 deaths, 36 million flu illnesses, 370,000 hospitalizations. The 2019-2020 influenza outbreak is moderate to low in overall severity, but hospitalization rates are high among children and young adults. “Rates for children 0-4 years and adults 18-49 years are now the highest CDC has on record for these age groups, surpassing rates reported during the 2009 H1N1 pandemic,” the agency said. The CDC projects flu activity to remain elevated throughout this month. Flu activity was high in Puerto Rico and 41 states. It was moderate in Ohio...
  • Evidence Shows Director General of World Health Organization Severely Overstated the Fatality Rate of the Coronavirus

The rate of the number of individuals who died from the flu to the number of individuals who were estimated to have had the flu is .1% (22,552 / 36 million). This is an estimate and the amount used above by the Director General of the WHO.However, the rate of individuals who died from the flu to the number of individuals who were confirmed to have had the flu is around 10% (22,000/ 222,552). This is based on actual data similar to the rate for the coronavirus above.  5. Actual results for the coronavirus are lower than the flu. Based on...

Covid-19 cases as of 3-16-20 compared with 2018 death rates for the Flu. While Covid-19 has hardly competed its run, nor has the flu, yet for comparison with the flu we have the morality rate for the flu per state in 2017-2018 and total deaths, which I have provided along side the latest Covid counts (3-16-20 ) to the table below. Additional stats on the 2019-2020 Flu season are provided below the the table. During the 2017-2018 season, the percentage of deaths attributed to pneumonia and influenza (P&I) was at or above the epidemic threshold for 16 consecutive weeks. Nationally,...
  • Mortality rate of coronavirus vs seasonal flu (vanity)

What if we compared the mortality rate of influenza and coronavirus using only confirmed cases (no estimates)? People seem to like to use a ~0.1% mortality rate for seasonal flu when comparing it to coronavirus. This 0.1% figures includes all of the estimated influenza cases in the US, using modeling, which dramatically lowers the mortality rate. The same modeling/estimating is never applied to coronavirus. What happens when we only use confirmed cases for each and eliminate the models and estimates for total cases? Per the CDC the number of CONFIRMED seasonal flu cases this year in the US is 222,552...

Governments love crises because when the people are fearful they are more willing to give up freedoms for promises that the government will take care of them. After 9/11, for example, Americans accepted the near-total destruction of their civil liberties in the PATRIOT Act’s hollow promises of security. It is ironic to see the same Democrats who tried to impeach President Trump last month for abuse of power demanding that the Administration grab more power and authority in the name of fighting a virus that thus far has killed less than 100 Americans. Declaring a pandemic emergency on Friday, President...

President Donald Trump declared a national emergency on Friday, the most significant move yet by the U.S. government to head off the coronavirus outbreak. Trump’s declaration came as many public and private institutions have taken action — including canceling major events, temporarily banning large gatherings, closing schools and telling people to work from home — in an effort to slow the spread of the virus. The Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbled, soared, and then closed with a gain of 1,900 points after the emergency declaration. Wall Street had reeled Thursday afternoon after coronavirus fears drove the markets to their worst...
  • The over-hyped Covid-19 scare to Make PDJT look bad!

Yes, any preventable death is bad, but I have never seen so much hype over a viral pandemic as this in my 60 years since arriving in United States. Since it started circulating in the spring of 2009, H1N1 has infected about 100 million Americans, killing about 75,000 and sending 936,000 to the hospital, the CDC estimates. https://www.statnews.com/2019/06/11/h1n1-swine-flu-10-years-later/ It will be a long time before Covid-19 will kill 75,000 Americans, if at all. But I do not recall the hype in 2009 about H1N1. But it was Obama administration in charge, so media had no reason to freakout. CDC estimates*...

Sick and tired of this nonsense... It's time for Trump to step up and declare the media a nuisance that must be reigned in from reporting nonsense. Freedom of the press is fine if the press is reporting the news. When they become hysterical and start damaging the economy to the determent of millions who already live in poverty and decay, it's time to put a kibosh on it... All news regarding this virus should be off limits and reported only by government sources, not liberal minded news outlets with a political agenda of destroying the economy. It's drastic and...

“Codswallop” is one of those interesting words that might have been used by Supreme Court justice Anton Scalia in a dissenting opinion, or by conservative intellectual William F. Buckley in describing some liberal policy. It’s a British expression that refers to words or ideas that are foolish or untrue, in other words, nonsense. While codswallop is a good description of the entire Democrat agenda, today I will restrict its use to the hysteria surrounding the coronavirus outbreak, media fearmongering, and resulting public panic. Big media is all about ratings, view, and clicks, hence their axiom, “If it bleeds, it leads.”...

If the economy's so bad, why is it so good? Crashing dollar, twin deficits, rising gold, foreigners selling our assets -- the list goes on and on for members of the negative and pessimist mainstream media. But unfortunately for them, and fortunately for the rest of us, the economy is in excellent shape.  According to the latest report from the Commerce Department, real gross domestic product rose 3.9 percent in the third quarter of 2004. GDP is still the best overall measure of the economy -- that is, outside of the stock market, which is always smarter than the bean-counters....
