One of the perpetrators even swung her scooter at the man’s head in what sources said was an unprovoked attack on northbound C line platform. The offenders are believed to be between the...

She, like West, has been outspoken about racial relations in the US. In February, Abdullah said she felt like it was “slightly racist to be a Taylor Swift fan” as the music...

A former Chicago Park District Attorney is seeking damages from Mayor Lori Lightfoot after an obscene, insulting rant against the attorney and the Chicago Italian-American community came to light. The Park District was responsible for the statue of Christopher Columbus in Arrigo Park that Lightfoot had ordered removed during protests in 2020. They were negotiating with the Joint Civic Committee of Italian-Americans to have the Columbus statue displayed during the annual Columbus Day parade. The statue wasn’t displayed in the Chicago parade but did make an appearance at a suburban event. Ron Onesti, president of that Italian-American group, was in...

Host Whoopi Goldberg said Tuesday on ABC’s “The View” that black people were “where we were under the Emancipation Proclamation” while discussing voting rights with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY). Goldberg said, “You vowed to call a vote on major voting rights legislation in time for Martin Luther King Day next week. I just want – I want to ask you this because it’s irritating me to the nth degree. Why are we still talking about my right as an American to vote?”

On Tuesday night, Huffington Post editor Philip Lewis shared a video on Twitter of Barack and Michelle Obama on vacation on Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands. And the Internet wasted no time in reading between the lines of their casual beachside style. The former president was sporting a backward hat, while Michelle was rocking denim cutoffs and toting a woven beach bag. “Obama’s on vacation with the hat backwards. He’s never coming back,” the tweet that started the speculation reads. And the Twitterverse quickly agreed. Others turned their attention to the former first lady, whose signature...

Iverson, 35, was a passenger in a grey Lamborghini, spied by an Atlanta officer changing lanes without signaling about 6 p.m. on March 30, according to the police report obtained by CNN. The word is out that the Obamas will be spending part of their summer vacation in Martha's Vineyard. "Many blacks from Oak Bluffs are elated that the Only One-in-Chief may be joining them. "People are going to lose their minds!" Tonya Lewis Lee says. At the same time, there's also a bit of wariness among the wealthiest ones, an uncertainty whether Obama will affirm them. "Obama is more a man of the people," says a Vineyarder who's part of black high society. "He doesn't seem to identify with affluent black people. His wife definitely doesn't; she is basically a ghetto...

FReepers, what do you think about requesting Cal Thomas or someone like him to address the "Gutter Language" now infesting much of our political discourse? We, meaning others and myself have grudgingly been forced to know about vulgar meanings of words that before now had no use in our everyday conversations. Last week my nine-year-old third grade daughter came home and asked me what Mack Daddy meant. I asked her where she heard the word and she stated that "the other night on television news a man called someone a Mack Daddy". I told her the man was probably talking...
