Black female gate agents at Frontier Airlines go on an unprofessional ghetto power trip.
Denying a man the ability to check in, likely because he's White.

I guess Frontier doesn’t want white people flying it.
Dudes gonna get a legal payday. If not, Frontiers gonna go under because no white people are gonna fly it for fear of being stranded.
Another Day, Another DIE.
The guy was late to check in. His fault
Frontier Airlines agents jeer at passenger after hitting him with surprise fee: ‘You thought you were gonna get on your flight?’
When did we start having black gate agents?
“ The guy was late to check in. His fault”

I agree. There’s a reason that the airports ask passengers to try to arrive two hours before the flight.
And who knows what happened before what is shown in the video. They’ve obviously been going at it for some time and are engaged in a “I’m recording you” war. This is not about race.
This has a real men of genius feel to it. We need statues for those people.

Thank you Bud Light for honoring those people.0
Thanks… that has some needed context.
And in what world was that the professional way to handle the situation?
What’s with the $25? Is he supposed pay it and why?
Circa 1979 the office called and said I needed to be in Stavanger, Norway immediately for an offshore job.. I was living in England. SAS took me to Copenhagen for my flight to Norway on Braathens Regional Airlines . I was late for the flight due to weather getting in to Copenhagen. SAS agents asked Braathens Regional Airlines to hold the boarding window open for a few minutes and they did. I got to Stavanger on time and then offshore for work.
Another time in Norway a bunch of us were on choppers to Stavanger that again were late due to weather, you really do not want to fly a chopper in severe icing conditions.
We had a narrow window to make our connection back to London
and we asked the chopper pilot to ask if SAS would hold a few minutes for us to land and clear customs. He did and they did. The clearing customs was great. It took less than a minute. They took a brief very brief look at my passport and waved me through with no inspection of our gear. They knew we were just oilfield workers wanting to go home to our family’s and girlfriends.
This would never happen today. I miss the old days.
Screw the nypost jerks !!! 35 adds for crap 💩 you don’t need/want !!!
Half a dozen goggle popups and sign in with your goggle account to see more ads crap 💩
And the alleged video is crappy and won’t unmute !!!
NO MORE USELESS ny compost for Me !!!
The link in the post above yours tells the whole story. He arrived 50 minutes before the flight, wasn’t able to check in electronically at the kiosk because that would only work until 60 minutes before the flight, and when he went to check in at the desk he was told there was a $25 fee for them to check him in.
He eventually agreed to pay the fee but muttered under his breath that he would never fly this !@#$ airline again. And then these employees said they wouldn’t check him in and got all huffy with him. They were absolutely able to check him in; they were mad because he muttered under his breath about the $25 fee. And then they started acting like a$$holes.
In the end he bought a different ticket, then called the airline to complain about the treatment he received, they reimbursed him, and they wouldn’t let those 34d-party-contracted employees work with Frontier Airlines any more.
They obviously allow check-ins for people who get there late, because their policy is to charge $25 if they have to be checked in at the desk because they’re too late for the electronic check-in. These workers were throwing their weight around because they were mad, saying they didn’t have to check him even after he paid the extra fee. It was totally unprofessional and Frontier recognized that it was unprofessional.
From that article it sounded like the security officers who were there weren’t surprised that it went like this. They had seen it many times before with Frontier and said they were sure they’d see it some more too. And I believe it just because of the boldness of these women. If the video hadn’t gone viral they probably would have gotten away with it, as they probably had many times before.
If you watch all the way through, you find out the customer wants checked in after the deadline and apparently demanded to be checked in. I don’t approve of the unprofessional behavior, but some customers demean workers and expect royal treatment, even when wrong. Ideally, they just repeatedly ask him to leave or call security.
I have not flown since 1998 and God willing I will never have to ever again.
Weird.
But why didn’t print out his pass or use an app and just go to the gate?
Who goes to the desk to check in.
Frontier is a crap airline. If you lived in Denver you knew to avoid it.
