SNIPOn Sunday afternoon, the FBI Agents Association sent employees a notice that some agents had received an email from senior officials ordering them to respond to a “12-question survey" asking about their involvement in Jan. 6 cases, according to two people who received it. <>SNIP <p">Regarding one of the questions, the association recommended that agents respond with the following wording: "I have been told I am ‘required to respond’ to this survey, without being afforded appropriate time to research my answers, speak with others, speak with counsel or other representation." The association recommended that they also write, “To the best...

A “prolific anti-Trump FBI agent” allegedly broke protocol in order to open and push the FBI’s initial investigation into President Donald Trump and the 2020 election, according to whistleblower records released by Sens. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Ron Jonson, R-Wis., Thursday. Former FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) Timothy Thibault, who was fired for violating the Hatch Act after Grassley exposed his public anti-Trump statements, authored the initial language for “Arctic Frost,” the investigation that would become former Special Counsel Jack Smith’s lawfare case against Trump over the 2020 election. “Thibault took this action despite being unauthorized to open...

The Trump administration is set to expand a purge of career law enforcement officials, with dozens of FBI agents who worked on January 6, 2021, US Capitol attack and Trump-related investigations as well as some supervisors being evaluated for possible removal as soon as the end of Friday, according to people briefed on the matter. The changes highlight how the new administration has moved quickly to deliver on President Donald Trump’s vow to strike back at the Justice Department and FBI that he claims have been weaponized against him. Trump has falsely accused agents of abuse in their court-ordered search...

Jeffrey Epstein was offered a sweetheart plea deal by federal prosecutors in return for incriminating information that would lead to President Trump’s impeachment, according to the late pedophile’s cellmate. Ex-Westchester cop and convicted killer Nicholas Tartaglione, Epstein’s bunkmate at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan weeks before his death in August 2019, said the disgraced financier dished on the dirt-digging expedition after a confab with the feds. “He said, ‘When you were a cop, what do you know about proffers and cooperating?’ I said, ‘Jeff, it’s pretty simple, the prosecutors, you know, they caught a fish — you. They’re not...

There are a lot of people currently holding down jobs in the Biden administration that we would like to see gone. A new president is coming in a week, and as a new broom sweeps clean, soon-to-be President Trump's second term promises to sweep very clean indeed. One person we'll be glad to see gone is FBI Director Chris Wray, architect of the infamous Mar-a-Lago raid, when FBI agents rifled through the Trump's personal items, evidently expecting to find classified documents hidden among Melania's lingerie. Well, he's leaving now - and trying to spin his legacy as the unemployment line...

FBI Director Chris Wray gave a farewell speech today. It was bland and delusional, of course, but this line is a worry: “I’ve had the privilege of personally handing badges and credentials to over 5,700 new agents—more than 40% of those on the job today. ... Wray weaponized the FBI for political purposes. He sent the FBI to raid Mar a Lago with guns, authorizing the use of deadly force against a former and future President. He went after Catholics & PTA moms and targeted parents who protested at School Board meetings, then went to Congress and lied about all...

On Dec. 12th, 2024—the D.O.J Office of Inspector General (OIG) released a report evaluating the FBI’s role in intelligence gathering and handling of Confidential Human Sources (CHS) leading up to certification day for the 2020 presidential election. The report touched on several aspects in which the FBI was both functionally successful and in which it failed to adequately meet its own standards of due diligence. It also made clear that there was no evidence of undercover FBI agents being present within the Capitol crowd, and that none of the CHSs who were at the riot were authorized by the FBI...

FBI agents say the bureau’s first response to the New Year’s Day terrorist massacre in New Orleans’ French Quarter was disastrous and another reason why the Senate can’t move fast enough to confirm President-elect Donald Trump’s pick to run the agency. ... Agents wondered why Lyonel Myrthil, the special agent in charge of the New Orleans FBI office, did not appear ... The New Orleans FBI Office sent Assistant Special Agent in Charge Alethea Duncan, who wore khakis, a blue polo shirt and a nose ring, to the first press conference after the attack. She immediately contradicted New Orleans Mayor...

A 42-year-old former Army IT specialist named Shamsud-Din Jabbar committed an act of terrorism by killing 15 in his truck in New Orleans early on New Year’s Day, says the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). And there appears to be abundant evidence, including testimony from his close relatives and videos he posted to Facebook, that radical Islamic ideology motivated Jabbar. Jabbar’s motivations may come as a surprise to millions of Americans. After all, for the last four years, the FBI, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), President Joe Biden, and other United States agencies that constitute the Intelligence Community (IC) have...

Imagine how much worse Wednesday’s deadly event would have been had the FBI not taken dangerous grandmother’s off the street?Early Wednesday morning, a radical Islamic terrorist drove his truck through a crowd of people celebrating the start of the New Year in New Orleans. Fifteen people were murdered and more than 35 injured. But maybe this tragedy could have been avoided if the FBI spent less time targeting parents, Catholics, and countless other dissidents and instead focused its resources on catching actual terrorists.Shamsud-Din Jabbar plowed through a crowd in his Ford F-150 Lightning EV truck draped with an ISIS flag...

Can you imagine the danger to our republic if the Executive Branch could secretly, for months on end, and without any clear and compelling justification, surveil the very people in Congress conducting oversight of those agencies? That chilling constitutional nightmare transpired. And we’re only getting the details about the separation-of-powers-eviscerating, civil liberties-undermining, and transparency-imperiling activity seven years after it started. The revelations come in a recently released Justice Department Inspector General report. Like much of this corrupt activity, the story begins with Russiagate. In the spring and summer of 2017, the first year of the Trump presidency, CNN, The New...

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) for the FBI issued a report last week that detailed at least 26 FBI Confidential Human Sources (CHSs) were present at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. There are limitations imposed on the OIG in an investigation like this. If the office found 26, there were likely more. The OIG’s mandate is limited to interviewing current FBI employees only. If the FBI was working with Capitol police, and the Capitol police had a CHS, the OIG would not learn of or report on this because of lack of jurisdiction. The same with the CIA...

During an on-background telephone call today, officials from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Homeland Security, Federal Aviation Administration and the Joint Staff provided comment and answered questions from reporters about the drone sightings. A spokesperson from the Joint Staff acknowledged that there had been sightings of drones over two military installations in New Jersey, but said such sightings are typical. "We have had confirmed sightings at Picatinny Arsenal and Naval Weapons Station Earle," the spokesperson said. "This is not a new issue for us. We've had to deal with drone incursions over our bases for quite a time...
