President Joe Biden's interview with ABC News' "Good Morning America" appears to have been edited short, with nearly 1,000 words sliced from the airing of the Thursday morning interview. According to transcripts analyzed by the Daily Wire against the aired interview, some of the cut footage appear to be inconsequential, like hellos and welcomes, while other cut clips appear to show instances of Biden struggling with his wording.

White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield was interviewed Thursday morning by CNN host Alisyn Camerota regarding how the Biden administration will deal with networks that are “willfully lying” or spreading dishonest information. Camerota asked Bedingfield about a line in Biden’s inaugural speech in which he talked about fighting “lies told for power and for profit,” and if he was specifically talking about certain media outlets that allegedly lied about the 2020 election results. Camerota added in her question: “We know who they are. They are right-wing companies; some are more fringe than others, at this point, or more extreme than...

The U.S. presidential election was not tainted by widespread voter fraud or irregularities in how ballots were counted, despite a huge effort by President Donald Trump to prove otherwise. In refusing to concede the election, Trump claims that he would have won were it not for “illegal” votes counted in several states that he lost or where he is currently trailing. But Trump and his allies haven’t offered any proof and their legal challenges have largely been rejected by the courts. WHAT IS TRUMP CHALLENGING? The Trump campaign has filed more than a dozen lawsuits in at least five states....

Many of you have probably seen headlines like this: CNN: More people watched Biden on ABC than Trump on NBC, MSNBC and CNBC Washington Post: Biden’s ABC town hall ratings beat Trump’s three-network NBC event The Hill: Biden's town hall viewership surpasses Trump's So does this really mean anything? Should President Trump be worried? The answer is no. Biden's campaign event was on ABC "News". Trump's hour-long town hall was aired on NBC, MSNBC and CNBC. Who mainly watches ABC, NBC, MSNBC and CNBC? Democrats and people who don't realize these "news" outlets are mainly broadcast channels for the Democratic...

The same networks that spent 2,202 minutes of collective airtime to push the Russia Collusion Media-Hoax are refusing to cover the Senate Intelligence Committee bipartisan report, which found no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. The Trump administration's $1.5 trillion tax cut package appeared to have no major impact on businesses' capital investment or hiring plans, according to a survey released a year after the biggest overhaul of the tax code in more than 30 years. The National Association of Business Economics' quarterly business conditions poll, published on Monday, found that while some companies reported accelerating investments because of lower corporate taxes, 84 percent of respondents said they had not changed plans. That compares to 81 percent in the previous survey published in October.

Former White House political strategist Karl Rove warned Senate Republicans in a meeting this week not to become overly reliant on their conservative base as they head into what could be a tough 2020 presidential election. Rove, who served as former President George W. Bush’s top political strategist, was brought in by Senate GOP leaders to speak to the 22 Republican incumbents up for reelection at an all-day planning session Thursday hosted at Nationals Park in southeast Washington, D.C. GOP lawmakers are getting nervous about next year’s election as polls show President Trump’s approval rating dropping during the 28-day government...

BuzzFeed is (in)famous for publishing the Steele dossier but their reporting is sufficiently well regarded to have made them a Pulitzer finalist last year. They publish interesting investigative pieces about all sorts of things regularly. (Some end up in our Headlines section.) They have some credibility. Which means last night’s Trump scoop amounts to an unusual wager given the gravity of the allegation involved: Simply put, either the president is finished or BuzzFeed’s credibility is.Before you watch BuzzFeed co-author Jason Leopold comment on what he has and hasn’t seen by way of hard evidence, watch White House spox Hogan...

President Donald Trump directed his longtime attorney Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about negotiations to build a Trump Tower in Moscow, according to two federal law enforcement officials involved in an investigation of the matter. Trump also supported a plan, set up by Cohen, to visit Russia during the presidential campaign, in order to personally meet President Vladimir Putin and jump-start the tower negotiations. “Make it happen,” the sources said Trump told Cohen. And even as Trump told the public he had no business deals with Russia, the sources said Trump and his children, Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr.,...

Nick Vallelonga, one of the writers and producers of the Golden Globe-winning dramedy Green Book, has deleted his Twitter account after coming under intense criticism for a 2015 tweet in which he repeated Donald Trump’s thoroughly debunked claim that Muslims in New Jersey celebrated the Sept. 11 attacks. Vallelonga’s tweet called Trump’s falsehood “100% correct” and claimed, “Muslims in Jersey City cheering when towers went down. I saw it, as you did, possibly on local CBS news.” Such claims have been definitively debunked by outlets such as the New York Times and the Washington Post.

Antarctic glaciers have been melting at an accelerating pace over the past four decades thanks to an influx of warm ocean water — a startling new finding that researchers say could mean sea levels are poised to rise more quickly than predicted in coming decades. The Antarctic lost 40 billion tons of melting ice to the ocean each year from 1979 to 1989. That figure rose to 252 billion tons lost per year beginning in 2009, according to a study published Monday in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. That means the region is losing six times as...

Alan J. Steinberg—who served as an adviser to former President George W. Bush—wrote in an opinion piece published this week that he didn’t believe President Donald Trump would be removed from office through impeachment. Steinberg, a former Environmental Protection Agency regional administrator, said that he believed Trump would resign in 2019 in exchange for immunity. “Trump will not be removed from office by the constitutional impeachment and removal process,” Steinberg wrote in The Star-Ledger. “Instead, the self-professed supreme dealmaker will use his presidency as a bargaining chip with federal and state authorities in 2019, agreeing to leave office in exchange...

Editor’s note: The opinions in this article are the author’s, as published by our content partner, and do not necessarily represent the views of MSN or Microsoft. An impeachment process against President Trump now seems inescapable. Unless the president resigns, the pressure by the public on the Democratic leaders to begin an impeachment process next year will only increase. Too many people think in terms of stasis: How things are is how they will remain. They don’t take into account that opinion moves with events.

In his first 13 years on the Supreme Court, Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr.’s main challenge was trying to assemble five votes to move the court to the right though there were only four reliably conservatives justices. Now he faces a very different problem. With the retirement of Justice Anthony M. Kennedy and his replacement by Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh, the chief justice has the votes he needs on issues like abortion, racial discrimination, religion and voting. At the same time, he has taken Justice Kennedy’s place as the swing vote at the court’s ideological center, making him the...

Cankil-Sakauye made the comments in a phone interview on Thursday to CALmatters, a nonprofit news organization, saying that she had been thinking about Kavanaugh's September confirmation hearing. "I’ve been thinking about it for some time," Cankil-Sakauye said of her decision. She said that she spoke with her husband and friends about the hearing and their conclusion was that "you didn’t leave the party - the party left you." “I felt compelled to make a choice...
