The buck stops with them. North America’s second-largest supermarket chain is warning its suppliers that it won’t allow price hikes due to President Trump’s tariff spree. Albertsons, which operates over 2,200 grocery stores — including Balducci’s, Kings and Acme in the New York area, blasted out a missive to its suppliers late last month, explaining that suppliers must get authorization for significant price hikes. “With few exceptions, we are not accepting cost increases due to tariffs,” stated the letter, first uncovered by American Economic Liberties Project researcher Matt Stoller.

Just using Marketwatch as a link for oil pricing. But do you believe if gas goes to $3.25 per gallon (or so) idiots will all of the sudden forget about "recession, empty shelves, high prices, inflation, CRT, lockdowns" etc? Will they go back to the "all is normal except global warming and Abortion" so vote BLUE? I have lost all confidence in Americans---even "middle of the road Republicans". Thoughts?

VIDEOI was at my local Walmart in Broward County, FL when I remembered the words of Brian Craig, co-host of the Steve Kane radio show, when he said that a lot of people are now checking the baby formula shelves at stores even if they have no children. With that in mind I got curious when I saw the Baby section so I just had to check for myself. Result: NO liquid baby formula at all and a lot of the powder was gone too. It will be interesting to see how soon the liquid baby formula will be back...

So whatever happened to the supply chain crisis? There were mountains of unloaded containers sitting on docks, are they still there? There were hundreds of ships anchored, waiting to be unloaded, are they still sitting idle? Truckers were unable to work due to mask and vaccination requirements, does that still hold? So much has transpired in the world so quickly that news falls off the national radar very quickly, I try to catch up once in a while and I like to reach out and see what people know or have heard. Thanks for your input.

It’s probably not the endorsement Biden’s flailing administration wanted. In a time when social networks have been swamped with photos of empty shelves from across the nation, Goldman’s head commodity strategist and one of the closest-followed analysts on Wall Street, said he’s never seen commodity markets pricing in the shortages they are right now. “I’ve been doing this 30 years and I’ve never seen markets like this,” Currie told Bloomberg TV in an interview on Monday. “This is a molecule crisis. We’re out of everything, I don’t care if it’s oil, gas, coal, copper, aluminum, you name it we’re out...

01/06/22 To watch Biden speaking is very hurtful to many people. They're the ones who tried to stop the peaceful transfer with a rigged election. Just look at the numbers. Does anybody really think that Biden beat Obama with the Black population in select Swing State cities, but nowhere else? That he would lose 18 out of 19 bellwether counties, and 27 out of 27 “toss up” House races, but somehow miraculously receive the most votes in American history with no coattails? That he would lose Florida, Ohio, and Iowa and win, even though it has never been done before?...

President Biden appeared to mock the intelligence of the American people on Saturday when discussing the ongoing supply chain crises in America, questioning whether "they'd understand" the topic at hand. Biden's remarks came during a press conference as he answered a question from a reporter on criticism he has faced from Rep. Abigail Spanberger, D-Va., who said: "Nobody elected him to be F.D.R., they elected him to be normal and stop the chaos." "I don't intend to be anybody but Joe Biden, that's who I am," Biden said. "What I'm trying to do is do the things I ran on...

For more than a century, business experts have been trying to dial up the United States’ efficiency. Ever since Frederick Taylor published “The Principles of Scientific Management” in 1911, companies have focused on doing things more quickly, and raising consumers’ expectations as a result. But Taylor’s ideas didn’t take into account the havoc a pandemic might do to supply chains — and how that would blunt what a few months ago seemed like a looming resumption of modern daily life’s zippy pace. Across the country, Americans’ expectations of speedy service and easy access to consumer products have been crushed like...

Well, not quite but this is pretty dang funny. This guy is named Shawn Farash and I could totally see Trump saying all this.

Joe Biden was being taunted online on Thursday with the hashtag 'Empty Shelves Joe', as frustrated shoppers complained about shortages of products in their local stores, and concern grew about possible Christmas shortages. Twitter users posted pictures of empty shelves at stores around the country, as the nations supply chain crisis continued. Biden on Wednesday acknowledged the concerns. 'With the holidays coming up, you might be wondering if gifts you plan to buy will arrive on time? -snip- Earlier on Wednesday, Jen Psaki, the White House Press Secretary, had sparked alarm by saying: 'We are not the postal service or...

The hashtag #EmptyShelvesJoe shot to the top of the trending topics on Twitter Thursday amid the supply chain crisis threatening the nation’s economy and holiday shopping. Social media users employed the tagline to rip President Biden for empty shelves and skyrocketing prices caused by a backlog of shipping containers waiting to dock at California ports.

The prices of a lot of things are up these days, which fits the common definition of “inflation.” Meanwhile, an increasing number of products are appearing at the same price but in smaller packages. This is inflation’s slippery first cousin “shrinkflation.” Here’s a sampling from a recent study:• Bounty paper towels: The triple back has shrunk from 165 sheets to just 147. • Costco’s toilet paper: A large pack was 425 sheets last year, but now is just 380. • Dial Body Wash: Reduced from 21 ounces to 16 ounces, a 25 percent reduction. • Ziploc freezer bags: 54 bags last...

They keep telling us that economic conditions are improving, but if that is true why are the shortages worse than ever? For a moment, I would like to take you all the way back to 2019. Before the pandemic came along, we didn’t have any shortages. If you wanted something, you just went to the store and got it or you ordered it online. Prices were low, global supply chains were functioning smoothly, and to most people it seemed like it would stay that way for the foreseeable future. But then the pandemic hit, and “panic buying” caused short-term shortages...
