Supply Chain Crisis
Me | 3/15/2022 | Me

So whatever happened to the supply chain crisis? There were mountains of unloaded containers sitting on docks, are they still there? There were hundreds of ships anchored, waiting to be unloaded, are they still sitting idle? Truckers were unable to work due to mask and vaccination requirements, does that still hold? So much has transpired in the world so quickly that news falls off the national radar very quickly, I try to catch up once in a while and I like to reach out and see what people know or have heard. Thanks for your input.

China just shut down cities with 51 million people.

Don’t worry....the crisis will be back with a vengeance soon. This will be on top of the energy crisis and the coming food crisis.

The news stations are going to need good editors to keep these things prioritized.

The media ignores it. but talk with anyone who works in any sort of industry and you’ll find out more than you want to know.

It’s destroying the American economy.

Just a thought, perhaps we should attempt to rely less on Chinese manufacturing.

In the seventies this same method was utilized to raise price creating inflation. Same trick different year. As soon as price is raised SHAZAM. Abundances return. So the People get fooled again

It was basically solved in a very boring manner. The California ports adopted a new system where ships had to book their arrivals in advance.

Now a ship doesn’t leave Asia until it has a berth confirmed. What that has meant in practice is that if a ship finds a long wait for an opening on the west coast they are going through the canal to the East coast ports with spare capacity.

Western corporate and consumer drug addicts , addicted to cheap Chinese stuff, were forced to go cold turkey. Many companies pulling supply chains out of China. The best thing that ever happened. Of course cold turkey doesn’t feel good while going through the withdrawals.

I know I am still waiting for a warranty part for my high-dollar Jenn-Air double oven. Since late January. Tired of this big toaster oven.

“ It was basically solved in a very boring manner.”

So it’s over? I would have thought Biden would have crowed long and hard about solving that crisis.

It is far from solved. My deliveries went from 3 weeks to 26 weeks. Computer chips and raw material such as aluminum is scarce. Honeywell also is now 26 weeks delivery on their products.

As I’ve said for the last decade, “you think THIS year is interesting? Just wait until NEXT year.” Every year has been more upheaval than the year before.

People forget what was going on in 2019, before anyone had heard of covid-19. But 2019 was worse than 2018. Etc.

Remember in early 2021 people used to joke about how bad 2020 was and how great it was for it to be over. But what did 2021 bring? And what is 2022 bringing.

2023 and 2024 will be, um, even more interesting. We are literally on a hyperbolic curve to the destruction of the western world. Plan accordingly.

My sister ordered new HVAC unit in November, it arrived and was installed last month. I’m having to go to 3-4 stores to find basic items. The supply chain is still an issue, the media, government propaganda ministry is ignoring it.

I heard a few days ago the backups at ports are as bad as ever.

I think this supply chain crisis is conditioning for a future of shortages and rationing, just like the old Soviet Union. You will take a shopping bag along with you where ever you. If you stumble on a store selling something, you have to get it right then and there before it is gone, so you need a way to carry it home. They called it their “just in case” bag. People will hang around grocery stores and watch for trucks to show up so they can be first in line. If you do find something, you stand in line to order it, take a slip to another line and pay for it, then take the receipt to another line to pick it up. All for equity and global warming.

You probably also believe the gasoline manufacturers are price-gouging because that’s what Chuck Todd told you.

“the media, government propaganda ministry is ignoring it.”

indeed ... because they can ... the Democrats got the “war” started so the state media had something they could yammer about 24x7 that was anything BUT the collapse of the U.S. economy ...

You know what they want you to know, nothing more. Manipulation of the masses is the sole purpose of the media, corporate and government cabal.
