    Pat Venditte, the Oakland Athletics' switch-pitching sensation, has the ability to live on land and in water, according to the East Oregonian. The little paper published out of Pendleton, Oregon, ran a headline on a story about Venditte touting him as "amphibious" rather than ambidextrous.

    Children who are ambidextrous, using either hand with the same ease, may be more likely to have mental health, language and academic problems than their peers, according to a new study. The researchers say the findings may help teachers and health professionals identify children who are particularly at risk of developing these problems.
