President Donald Trump said Tuesday that his administration is ending a Biden-era rule aimed at reducing methane emissions from oil and gas drilling. The president announced the move during a campaign rally in Lubbock, Texas, in support of Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ken Paxton, saying it would save consumers and energy producers $45 billion and unlock 210 million barrels of oil. "Tonight, I'm officially terminating Biden's expensive and unnecessary methane regulations to save consumers and energy producers $45 billion in costs, unlock vast quantities of Texas natural gas and produce 210 million barrels of oil," Trump said. He added, "We've...

A large Georgia family survived flames that destroyed their house — thanks to a good Samaritan who stumbled upon the blaze after his GPS took him a different way home, officials said Tuesday. Firefighters in northwest Georgia were called at 11:58 p.m. Oct. 17 and rushed to 28 Rowlls Road, where they found the structure engulfed by flames, Lyerly Fire Chief Tim Deberry told NBC News. James and Larita Burke, their 11 adopted children and one grandchild made it out safely with a helping hand from 37-year-old motorist Casey Sparks, officials said. Sparks had been playing softball that day in...

The US megachurch isn’t really about getting closer to God. It’s more like attending a really expensive stage production. You know the type, right? Giant auditoriums, elaborate stage lighting, massive video screens, a worship band that sounds like it’s auditioning for American Idol, and a super “cool” and fashionable young pastor who looks like he’s being sponsored by a luxury sneaker brand. And that’s before you get to the coffee shops, bookstores, children’s entertainment centers, and sprawling campuses that look like Google headquarters, not a place of worship. Honestly, it’s quite the operation. But behind all that polished branding and...

Newly released data on the Harvard College class of 2030 say the class is 43.2 percent Asian-American, a record high and more than double the level when Students for Fair Admissions first sued Harvard alleging racial discrimination in admissions. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in 2023 that Harvard was unlawfully using race as a factor in admissions. Since then, the numbers of Hispanic and black students in the incoming Harvard classes have dipped, while the numbers of Asian-Americans have soared.

Democrats are brazenly promising to throw the door wide open to fraud if they win back control of Congress this November – yet the media has virtually ignored it. Earlier this month, House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries unveiled a “first 100 days” agenda that his party plans to implement come January to deliver on “affordability.” A central part of that agenda is reversing what Democrats call the Trump administration’s “Medicaid cuts” passed as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) last year. The New York Times has uncritically parroted this framing, describing the plan as a “shock-and-awe legislative sprint...

On the menu today: If, in the past five months or so, you argued that the memorandum of understanding with the Iranian regime was a terrible mistake and an insane series of concessions to one of the world’s most duplicitous regimes, you were probably accused of having “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” This week, President Trump declared the cease-fire with Iran to be “a waste of time.” This morning, the Wall Street Journal reports that the U.S. is preparing for “a short, intense military campaign” against Iran “after the U.S. midterm elections.” As high as gas prices are today — a national...

Shares of Wendy’s jumped 15% at the opening bell Wednesday after noted investor Nelson Peltz made an offer to buy the struggling burger chain. Wendy’s shares are down 25% in the past year following a years-long decline. The chain, founded in 1969 by Dave Thomas and named after his daughter, is known for its square burgers and Frosty desserts. But same-store sales, or sales at restaurants open at least a year, have declined for more than two years. Those sales fell during the first two quarters of 2026. Peltz’s Trian Fund Management and several partners are offering Wendy’s $7.35 per...

Churchill quipped that, “democracy is the worst form of Government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.” Our system has plenty of flaws, but parliamentary democracy is so much worse, and the Israeli flavor of it, party parliamentary democracy untethered from regional representation, and controlled by an all-powerful judiciary is even worse. The way the Israeli system currently works is that the two old dominant parties, the conservative Likud and the leftist Labor, disagree on two fundamental issues… 1. Labor wants to destroy the economy by controlling it at every level. Likud wants to...

Watch the video first: AI Video Primer (4 mins) "THE ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK / THE DEMOCRACY FILES: A PRIMER 🚨 I will be using this thread to track all drops, so bookmark it. I spent most of yesterday backing everything (now 312 gigabytes) up in various sources and getting the materials out to others. I also produced an AI video (above) to explain the whole thing to others are not on 𝕏 - feel free to distribute. Here's the primer: USAID, the foreign aid agency, had a democracy office. Inside the agency, it was called DRG. Officially, DRG administered "democracy assistance."...

Your window to prepare, even with the basics, is closing. For those tracking the indicators that an event is increasingly likely, you know that it is now undeniable that something is brewing. It has now reached the point to where national governments are now overtly telling civilians to make preparations, however basic. As part of my career in the US intelligence community, one of things I supported was Counterintelligence threats to Continuity of Government (COG) and Continuity of Operations (COOP). Something i can say for absolute certain is that once governments signal that their citizens need to prepare, those preparations...

Inside the “confidential” midterm playbook from a group founded by Obama lawyers—and the plans being promoted to progressive lawmakers for grand juries, ballot battles and election confrontations. A fourteen-page election guide marked “CONFIDENTIAL” offers a detailed look at progressive preparations for the 2026 midterms, mapping confrontations over federal intervention, criminal investigations of election officials, ballot counting and certification. Protect Democracy’s guide for state legislators lays out seven scenarios extending beyond Election Day. Among its proposals: - Educating community members to “reject improper prosecutions when serving on grand juries”. - Immediately framing investigations used to enforce unlawful demands as intimidation intended...

When the divers ducked beneath the surface, they knew their target: a mysterious iron cauldron at the bottom of England’s River Wear. They had no idea how the vessel had ended up there, though they were fairly certain it had been underwater for hundreds of years. Their mission was to recover it from the watery darkness and bring it back to the surface. After freeing the artifact from debris, the divers secured it in thick green netting inside a metal cage. Team members on a recovery craft above then slowly pulled it up into the late morning sun. It arrived...

No one could have seen this coming. Hassan Bennett was arrested in a 2006 shooting where one person was killed and around was wounded. The wounded man accused Bennett of being one of the shooters. Four trials followed. By the fourth trial in 2019, some of the witnesses recanted, blamed the cops, and Bennett became the poster boy for police misconduct. He protested against the police in Philly and became a darling of pro-crime activists. Hundreds of Philadelphia police officers are facing backlash after they were accused of controversial posts on Facebook. Protesters called for action Friday at a “Rally...

A man was detained by Los Angeles police after pulling a knife during a confrontation inside a Wendy’s restaurant in Northridge on Wednesday. Video from inside the restaurant shows a man in a baseball hat confronting a couple who were eating a meal. The man who was eating then stood up and confronted the other man before eventually pulling out a knife in a threatening manner. “You gonna stab me?” the man in the hat can be heard saying. The scene then turned even more chaotic as expletives were shouted and chairs were thrown before both men went outside. A...

In the Substack immediately preceding this (Did “DataRepublican” just single-handedly save our nation? ) I lauded DataRepublican’s ongoing exposes of a color revolution / coup d’etat / seditious conspiracy against our Constitutional Republic — one that is currently “baking in the pre-midterms / pre-2028 election oven.” Her series, “The Democracy Files,” is still being rolled-out on X. IF YOU CARE ONE WHIT ABOUT THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRY, YOU SHOULD REVIEW “THE DEMOCRACY FILES” TO DATE, AND FOLLOW ALL FUTURE INSTALLMENTS. As I’ve watched the excerpts from Zoom meetings amongst the conspirators, it occurred to me that they come across...

The U.S. Federal Election Commission’s (FEC) website was targeted by a hacker or hackers just days before the November midterm elections. The outage disrupted the agency’s electronic filing system, preventing electronic filings while leaving the public’s access to previously submitted campaign finance reports unaffected. An FEC spokesperson confirmed to the Daily Caller that the agency’s IT staff are working to restore service. The spokesperson emphasized that the public can still access previously filed reports through the FEC’s online database. “At this time, we can point to the status update posted to the FEC’s website that the electronic filing system is...
