"Concerning you, my brethren, I myself also am convinced that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able also to admonish one another" (Rom. 15:14). Scripture is the source of godly counsel. In recent years the question of who is competent to counsel has become an important issue in the church. Many pastors and other church leaders have curtailed their counseling ministries or stopped them altogether. They've been made to feel inadequate for not having formal training in psychological counseling techniques. AUSTIN, TX — Senate candidate James Talarico suddenly disappeared from the campaign trail last week after Democratic strategists realized that he is James Talarico. With Democrats holding a shocking lead in statewide Texas races, political operatives pulled Talarico off the campaign, hoping to hide the fact that he is James Talarico. "The one thing that could sink this campaign is Texans meeting James Talarico," said Democratic strategist Kelly Hutchins. "He is so friggin' weird. Have you heard the stuff that comes out of that guy's mouth? Completely insane, even for us. We believe the winning strategy is to simply keep...

Is it comparable to electricity, the internet, the bicycle — something like that?Or is it something new? Is the addition of intelligence and volition to these systems the creation of something more like an alien mind, such...

snip In November, 2015, Chelsea Rooney, a grad student at the University of British Columbia (UBC) came forward with the claim that Steven Galloway – a then award-winning fiction writer and, since 2013, charismatic Chair of UBC's Creative Writing program – had four years earlier violently raped a student (unnamed, but in internal investigations referred to as MC for Main Complainant, and legally thereafter alluded to as A.B.)... And here Galloway's harrowing journey through the satanic mills of peak feminist misandry began. Rooney had no personal knowledge or evidence for a single claim she made. But she was an ardent...

Explanation: Stickney Crater, the largest crater on the martian moon Phobos, is named for Chloe Angeline Stickney Hall, mathematician and wife of astronomer Asaph Hall. Asaph Hall discovered both the Red Planet's moons in 1877. Over 9 kilometers across, Stickney is nearly half the diameter of Phobos itself, so large that the impact that blasted out the crater likely came close to shattering the tiny moon. This enhanced-color image of Stickney and surroundings was recorded by the HiRISE camera onboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter as it passed within some six thousand kilometers of Phobos in March of 2008. Even though...
