French teenagers blockaded several high schools and took to the streets in cities across the country on Thursday in the latest wave of protests over conditions in schools. With demonstrations showing no sign of slowing down, around half of the French population reportedly supports the movement.

Wild times yet again in France.
The Elabe poll was conducted from October 6 to October 7, 2026.
The results were officially published by French broadcaster BFMTV on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
It surveyed a representative sample of 1,001 French residents aged 18 and older.
French “residents” can mean anything, including illegal invaders.
And the current crop of French government elite are having a bowel movement.... En marche!
The political left party supporting this in France is looking to increase their numbers due to new, young eligible voters, and the party represented by Le Pen is looking to pull in new voters from Macron’s party concerned over law and order not being maintained.
Still pretending Islamofascist terrorists are “high school students.”
They must think we are really stupid.
Quelle surprise. The Muslim half.
55% support the movement, 35% are opposed, amd 10% are indifferent according to the poll.
Macron isn’t going to like those percentages.
UK has a bunch of those, too. Minneapolis and NYC, too!
I have a friend from California who lives and teaches English in the Provence region of France. Last week she experienced tear gas for the first time (she’s NOT a fan). She said the students are pretty much all first generation French (their parents came from North Africa).
She said the high school near where she teaches was burned down. Today she was stuck in traffic because the rioters were burning trash cans in the streets. I asked her where the police were and she said, “I don’t know. I haven’t seen them.”
I told her they all should be deported along with their parents. But she said they can’t deport them because they are citizens and it would be unconstitutional.
Damn I pray that Le Pen wins the election!
They aren’t going to vote their way out of this.
Are the students going to burn the French Parliament and the Élysée Palace?
Can people buy tickets to watch?

“I have a friend from California who lives and teaches English in the Provence region of France.”
Seems to me like she’s in immediate danger. Hope she can escape to safety.
LePen would deport those engaging in acts of arson.
Has anyone actually been presented with a list of “grievances” against the “schools”.
All I see are lots of flags that don’t appear to be associated with any schools.
Good point. But even in this country, too many Americans think it has anything at all to do with “students” of any kind at any level.
It is all about invasion.
Who’s bothering to fill out Opinion Polls while their towns and villages go up in flames? As usual, the ‘revolutionaries’ are very good at destroying and dismantling society, that’s easy! But quite poor in the building and sustaining of any productive order.
They need a two state solution. How about a French Pakistan?
