WASHINGTON — The Kennedy Center’s board moved Thursday to rename the area around the iconic performing arts center the “President Donald J. Trump Plaza” and to add Trump’s name back onto the building’s facade — after a federal judge ordered its removal. Trump’s allies on the board pushed through the changes during a meeting that lasted more than two hours, after Democrats including Rhode Island Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse and Ohio Rep. Joyce Beatty objected to Trump’s plans to renovate and rebrand the aging facility. Trump, who chairs the board, participated virtually in part of the meeting and pushed back on...

🔥 Will Cain just DESTROYED the Democrat Socialists' $200 TRILLION spending wish list with cold hard math, proving the MIDDLE CLASS would actually be on the hook Universal healthcare: $75 trillion. Reparations: $28 trillion. Federal jobs guarantee: $60 trillion. Housing for all: $17 trillion. But there's NO MONEY to pay for it ⬇️ Confiscate ALL billionaire wealth? That only brings in $6.6 trillion. Tax ALL corporate profits to ZERO? $35 trillion. Implement 90% tax rates like the 1950s? Still only $2 trillion over 10 years. You STILL don't even reach the LOW estimate of $71 trillion, let alone $200 trillion....

A federal judge on Thursday dismissed the Trump administration’s lawsuit that accused Harvard University of letting antisemitism run unchecked, a major defeat in the federal government’s monthslong battle with the Ivy League institution. District Court Judge Richard Stearns, a Clinton appointee, said the Trump administration failed to prove “an ongoing violation of Title VI” by Harvard University. This comes after the Trump administration sued Harvard University back in March, accusing the school of failing to address antisemitism and discrimination against Jewish and Israeli students. The administration’s complaint focused mainly on incidents that took place during the 2023-24 school year, Stearns...

Oil pollution on the southern shores of Qeshm Island, which has also reached the island’s mangrove forests, has heightened concerns about environmental consequences on both sides of the Strait of Hormuz, as an oil leak from a stranded tanker has also reached the coast of Oman. Officials from the Iranian regime have not yet officially announced the source of the Qeshm pollution, but Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei says preliminary evidence indicates it originated from “a foreign bulk carrier.” Esmaeil Baghaei, the Iranian regime’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, said on the evening of Wednesday, August 12, that pollution had been detected...

The New York Times is not a legitimate newspaper. It is not just that it is absurdly biased. It is not just that pretty much every story is driven by obsessive hatred of Donald Trump. The Times can’t be trusted not to lie about the most basic facts. Thus, this is how the Times characterizes the shooting of Alex Pretti:U.S. Investigated Left-Leaning Groups During Minnesota's Immigration CrackdownAfter Alex Pretti was fatally shot while filming officers, the government conducted expansive surveillance, infiltrated group chats and obtained financial records of organizations never accused of crimes. “Alex Pretti was fatally shot while filming...

The removed posts from Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic nominee for Senate in Michigan, immediately set off Republican attacks. Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic nominee for Senate in Michigan, was a prolific commentator for years, pontificating about the political issues of the day on social media, YouTube and various podcasts. But if you’re looking for some of his takes from years ago, you won’t find them on YouTube. CNN reported on Tuesday that he had deleted a number of videos and posts where he floated the idea of abandoning fireworks on Independence Day, suggested replacing the Second Amendment with the...

The U.S. military has enough assets to maintain a naval blockade of Iran indefinitely, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said on Thursday, adding ships could be rotated in and out of the region as needed. Hegseth's comments suggest he is advising U.S. President Donald Trump that the ‌U.S. military can keep applying economic pressure on Iran for as long as needed to help so-far failed negotiations to end the conflict, begun in February. He spoke in Panama after addressing the crew aboard the USS Gridley, a guided-missile destroyer, which had previously deployed to the Middle East.

The right has a blind spot about young womenConservatives readily scold young men for their ‘radical’ politics but hesitate to confront the progressive leftist attitudes increasingly dominant among women.Massachusetts Democratic Gov. Maura Healey, a lesbian who claims to be Catholic, signed legislation this week liberalizing abortion while surrounded by progressive women celebrating the right to murder their healthy babies up till birth. To conservatives who rightly regard late-term abortion as the killing of a viable child, the scene was grotesque. It also illustrated a political asymmetry conservatives rarely discuss.Endless ink has been spilled and countless podcasts recorded about the radicalization...

I’ve been on a small carrier/LHA in a war zone during the first Iranian dust up. We did 105 days continuous at sea. Drank that beer on steel beach. It was hard work, but we could have done another hundred days. The only thing we ran short of was fresh vegetables and milk. I’m more concerned with this concerted effort by media...aided by a dozen pussies aboard...to undermine the esteem these sailors warrant. As always, getting the job done. Bravo Abe Lincoln, BRAVO!!

Uh, I was formerly the chief counsel of the House Judiciary Committee and the staff director of the House Oversight Committee for the Democrats. It's first a question of incompetence. The...

NEW YORK (AP) — Before it was dubbed “the funeral screening,” it was just when Will Forte was going to see the movie. “Coyote vs. Acme” was finished. Director Dave Green, inspired by “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” had completed the editing on the Looney Tunes blend of cartoon and live action. The whole project, which takes an Ian Frazier “Shouts and Murmurs” column from The New Yorker as its source material, was an audacious comic gambit that seemed to be paying off. Hopes were high. Audience test scores were good. But days before Forte, who stars as Wile E. Coyote’s...

US hospitals and clinics have billed out nearly $120 million in gender-related medical treatments to minors since 2019, putting thousands of children on an expensive and irreversible treadmill requiring lifelong upkeep — with the blessing of doctors and lefty politicians. The bombshell report from President Trump’s Department of Health and Human Services also claims insurance fraud is rampant, with evidence suggesting pediatric gender clinics and children’s hospitals are creatively cooking the books to get young patients treatment. Those with the highest billings — which encompassed more than 5,500 surgical procedures and 8,500 courses of hormone treatments — were some of...

U.S. Vice President JD Vance personally asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on July 31 to halt attacks on oil tankers serving the Caspian Pipeline Consortium’s Black Sea terminal near Novorossiysk, the Financial Times reported on August 12. Citing Ukrainian officials and others familiar with the call, the newspaper said Kyiv had agreed not to target CPC infrastructure or non-Russian vessels unless they were under Ukrainian sanctions or carrying Russian oil or other Russian cargo. Ukraine has not struck tankers near the CPC terminal since the July 31 call. Vance’s intervention came after repeated July attacks had disrupted Kazakhstan’s main oil-export...
  • Sailor went overboard from the USS Abraham Lincoln this month as conditions on the ship prompt lawmakers’ demand for answers

A sailor went overboard earlier this month off of the USS Abraham Lincoln, three US officials told CNN, amid reports of worsening mental health for crew members on the ship during an extended deployment for the Iran war. The sailor was rescued within an hour, according to one of the officials, and was medically evaluated. A different official said that the sailor had gone overboard wearing a life vest and was not injured, adding that the Navy considered the incident a mental health episode.
